This study extracted and analyzed physical components of street view with external streets at large-scaled apartment house complex of Sangmu Housing Site Development District in Gwangju, examined factors affecting the image of street view and visual perceptional characteristics by image, analyzed relationship between components of street view and visual preferences of image and aimed to provide basic materials needed for making external street view at apartment house complex of high Qualify.

품질의 집(HoQ, House of Qualify) 모형은 1960년대 후반에 개발된 이래, 거의 모든 제조업에 적용되어 왔으며, 이제는 서비스업에서도 HoQ 모형을 응용하여 서비스를 개발하거나 서비스전달과정을 개선하는 경우가 많다. 그러나 50년에 가까운 역사를 가짐에도 불구하고, HoQ 모형을 수리적 관점에서 엄밀하게 분석하여 그 이론적 기초를 공고하게 다지는 연구는 매우 드물다. 본 연구에서는 TQM이나 6-시그마 프레임워크의 핵심적 도구로 등장하는 HoQ 모형을 선형대수학(linear algebra)적 관점에서 해석하고 분석하여, 방법론으로서의 가치를 재조명한다. 이러한 접근을 통하여 HoQ 모형이 품질경영에 기여하는 바와 함의 및 한계점 등을 명확히 밝혀, 모형의 올바른 활용을 유도할 수 있다.

Housing is the most important factor for the elderly and the disabled to live safely and independently. If they want to stay in their familiar community as long as possible, to support their stay in their house must be needed. The purpose of this study was to investigate the housing alterations for the elderly and the disabled. To accomplish the purpose of this study, three cases that had altered housing to fit their needs in three countries, were selected. In Korean case of alterations for the disabled, bathroom and kitchen were the altered spaces in the house. But active alterations were not done, because of the limited expense for the alterations and housing ownership, rented. In one case of housing construction for the elderly in Japan, there was no level difference in the interior. Two bedrooms were provided for the husband and the wife, because of the difference of time to bed. The sunroom for enjoying the outside of the nature was provided. In swedish case, due to the supports of the government and local authority, the house was altered at many spaces such as bathroom, kitchen, ramp at the entrance, elevator and so forth. In conclusion, sufficient supports of government and community services can increase the housing quality of people. The ultimate goal of housing alterations must be done not for the elderly and disabled but for all people.

Defect problems happening in the course of stressing quantity expansion of residence supply due to lark in maintenance are intensifying insincerity of construction business resulting from the psychological and economic damage, and there are many quarrel between residence suppliers and consumers. Because an apartment house's qualify is decided by various elements from design, to lotting-out, construction, and after-management, it is limited to express house capacity and standard to appraise defect objectively and quantifiably. The bound of defect and the period of guarantee expressed cleary in regulation of apartment house lack in quantifiable concept, and guarantee of defect is composed of a general concept. Therefore the big difference in opinion about defect and the bound of repair makes repair process slow and only to increase social costs. This research will give residence suppliers and consumers a resonable way to solve repair process during tile obliged period of guarantee since moving into from a process which are design, planing, construction, and after management. Furthermore it will present each business and role to conclude defect repair easily, so I planed to promote maintenance after conclusion of defect repair.

The purpose of this study is to reevaluate the performance of Hanji as a architectural material. Recent studies report that one of the causes of the Sick-HouseㆍSick-Building Syndrome is due to the contaminants from interior materials and the lack of ventilation. In this study, the properties of Hanji are investigated. The major focuses of this research are (1) how efficient the Hanji is for ventilation of the house and (2) whether the usage of Hanji brings required ventilation volume to the house. According to the test results, differential pressure in the air and the amount of ventilation showed linear relationship. Test results differ from various kinds of Hanji. Since houses usually have double window system, Hanji can be used to the windows system, especially for inner part of double window system. It is suggested that the combination of Hanji windows for the inner part and glass windows for outer part is very effective, and offers a solution to improvement of indoor air quality and the lack of ventilation with passive ventilation that has less energy consumption.

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors which affect older people's innovativeness toward technologies and factors which affect their demand of home automation system. The study collected data from 289 persons who are 50 years and older with experience living in an apartment currently or past. Innovativeness toward technologies of respondents were low level and the significant factors which affect their innovativeness were age, education, employment, marital status, current housing types, health status of self and spouse, consideration of home automation system for a newly-moved house. Education, employment types, consideration of home automation system for a newly-moved house, and plan for moving were the major factors which affect demand of home automation system. Also, older people's innovativeness toward technologies was the most important factors which affect demand of home automation system. Th results of this study explained that high technologies which are adopted in residential environment should be considered target consumers' abilities and attitudes for acceptance toward new ideas. Especially, for older consumers, various ideas to expand their understanding of new technologies should be developed and the positive effect of technologies to increase the qualify of their later life should be educated.

Purpose: To derive key requirements and key technologies for weapon system acquisition business by using Qualify Function Deployment (QFD), and to reduce business cost by setting the target performance and key expense of weapon system. Methods: We propose a QFD methodology that can induce rational decision-making by translating analyst's subjective opinions into quantitative values when analyzing requirements at the initial stage of weapon system development project. Based on QFD methodology, QFD application model combining house of quality, value engineering, and analogy cost estimating technique is presented. Results: It was possible to analyze the specific requirements necessary for the development of the weapon system, to solve the communication problem of the participants, to set clear development direction and target. Conclusion: By applying the QFD application model at the early stage of the weapon system acquisition project, it is possible to reduce the business cost by establishing clear development direction and goal through the procedural analysis process.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the chronological characteristics of the strategy for the house marketing in terms of the apartment lots for sale advertisements appeared to be from 1970's to 1990's in Busan·Kyungnam area. For the analysis of the newspaper advertisement, a new residence environmental indication is introduced to this research as referring to the existing research data. With this indication, therefore, this study is to examine what contents of the advertisements are. Moreover, as analyzing how frequently the advertisements have been inserted in the newspaper, it shows the characteristics which the construction industry has planned for sale of apartment in lots. The results are as follows; First, the frequency of the appearance in the newspaper about each unit and block in an apartment complex has been on the decrease. On the other hand, the importance about the surrounding area has been on the increase during the period. It shows that consumer require more about the surrounding area issues than each unit itself. Second, in the case of the outdoor space in the apartment complex, the frequency of the appearance in the newspaper has been kept a certain levels during the period. It is clear that the consumers have been concerned about the outdoor space throughout the period. Third, the most important issue is the qualify of site location, such as the benefits of the traffic, the levels of the education environment, the natural environment of the apartment complex and so forth. The frequency of the appearance in the newspaper has been kept increasing since 1970's in the advertisement. It clearly shows that this issue has been standardized for purchasing a house.

The Quality Function Deployment(QFD) is a Quality Management technique to maximize customers' satisfaction by reflecting customer requirements into all business processes, including concept definition, product planning, parts planning, process planning, production planning, and sales planning. The basic concept of the QFD is to translate customers' requirements appropriately into engineering characteristics, into parts characteristics, into process characteristics, and into specific requirements and activities in production. In this study, we reviewed and analyzed the application process of the QFD to the development of A2 FATC (Full Automatic Temperature Controller), an automotive component developed and produced by company A. It has been reported that by applying the QFD to the development of A2 FATC, company A. achieved 34% improvement in control robustness quality characteristic, 27% improvement in deviation quality characteristic, and 30% improvement in overall quality characteristics.

A commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) component is an implementation of common functionality among family members, where an in-house component implements an organization-specific functionality. Typically, a COTS component has a producer and aset of potential consumers. Consumers evaluate COTS components thoroughly before they purchase, because these components are developed by third party producers and most consumers have ‘not-invented-here’ syndrome. Hence, evaluating the quality of COTS components becomes an important prerequisite to a successful component-based application development. In this paper, we identify the characteristics of COTS components, and derive a practical quality model for components, C-QM, which consists of quality factors, criteria and metrics and a qualify certification system, C-QCS. The top design goal of C-QM is set to provide a practically applicable comprehensive quality model which can be effectively applied in assessing the various quality aspects of COTS components.
