국부 연화 핫스탬핑 차체 부품의 경도 분포 및 열 변형 거동 (Hardness Distribution and Dimensional Change after Partial- Hardened Hot Stamping of Automotive Body Part)

  • Partial-hardened hot stamping has been well known to be very effective to absorb more energy in automotive lateral crash. Hardness distribution and dimensional change after partial-hardened hot stamping have been studied to find out effect of thermal deformation of the heated hot stamping die on dimensional accuracy of automotive center pillar. Soft zone of commercial center pillar showed 275~345 in Vickers hardness, indicating bigger non-uniformity which resulted from thermal deformation of heated die. Dimensional changes in soft zone of the commercial center pillar measured by three dimensional scanner were much bigger than that in hard zone. It has been found that hot stamping die compensation considering thermal deformation in soft zone causes a significant decrease in hardness deviation in the soft zone, corresponding to 20 percent of commercial center pillar and subsequently leads to much higher dimensional accuracy.

  • 본 연구에서는 운동부 지도자들이 학생 선수들의 결과 데이터를 핫 존(Hot Zone)과 콜드 존(Cold Zone)으로 구분하여 지도에 참고할 수 있는 어플리케이션을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 종목은 농구이다. 운동부 지도자들은 학생 선수들의 득점 확률이 높은 곳을 분석할 수 있고, 이를 이용하여 훈련 성과를 더욱 높일 수 있다. 그리고 학생 선수들도 축적된 데이터를 통하여 자신의 장단점을 파악하여 동기 부여와 경기력 향상을 기대할 수 있으며, 이에 따른 후속 연구를 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Al-Si 용융 도금된 보론강 CO2 레이저 용접부의 미세조직과 기계적 성질에 미치는 핫스탬핑 처리의 영향 (Effect of Hot-Stamping on Mechanical Properties and Microstructures of CO2 Laser Welded Boron Steel coated with Al-Si layer)

  • In this study, Al-Si coated boron steel(1.2 mm) were laser welded by $CO_2$ laser and hot-stamping was applied to the laser joints. Tensile properties and microstructures of the joints were investigated before and after hot-stamping. Tensile and yield strengths of the as welded specimen similar with base metal and fracture occurred base metal of boron steel. Although, in case of heat treated specimen, fracture occurred fusion zone that Al segregated zone near the bond line. These could be explained by the existence of ferrite, in the Al segregated zone near the bond line and base metal of boron steel. Before hot-stamping, hardness of base metal is lower than fusion zone and heat affected zone in spite of exist Al segregation zone($Fe_3$(Al,Si)). So fracture occurred base metal. Although, after hot-stamping, microstructure of base metal and welds zone transformed to martensite and bainite except in Al segregation zone near the bond line that $Fe_3$(Al,Si) transformed to a-ferrite. So fracture occurred Al segregation zone near the bond line.

  • In this study, the effect of laser source($CO_2$ and Nd:YAG) on the microstructure and tensile properties of laser welded Al-Si coated boron steel(1.2mmt) was investigated with before and after hot-stamping. In case of as welds condition, fracture occurred in base metal unrelated to the laser source. It could be explained that tensile strength of fusion zone composed of martensite and bainite is higher than that of base metal that contains a lot of ferrite despite dilution of Al and Si from coating layer to fusion zone. In case of hot-stamping condition, the fracture occurred in fusion zone irrelevant to laser source and the tensile strength was lower than hot stamped base metal. In the $CO_2$ laser welds, $Fe_3$(Al,Si) formed near the bond line was transformed into ferrite during hot-stamping. Therefore tensile strength of bond line is lower than that of base metal and center of fusion zone and the fracture occurred in the bond line. On the other hand, in the Nd:YAG laser welds, the higher concentration of Al formed the ferrite in the fusion zone during hot-stamping treatment. Also, the thickness of centerline was thinner than that of base metal. Therefore, it is considered that fracture occurred in centerline of fusion zone due to effect of concentration stress, and it leaded to a lower tensile strength and elongation.

고온 공기분사공정에 의한 유류오염대수층의 TPH 제거 (TPH Removal of Oil-Contaminated Soil by Hot Air Sparging Process)

  • In-situ Air Sparging (IAS, AS) is a remediation technique in which organic contaminants are volatilized from saturated zone to unsaturated layer. This study focuses on the removal and interaction of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and $CO_2$, and Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) in saturated and unsaturated, and air space zone on the unsaturated soil surface. Soil sparging temperature of hot air has risen to $34.9{\pm}2.7^{\circ}C$ from $23.0{\pm}1.9^{\circ}C$ for 36 days. At the diffusing point, fluid TPH concentrations were reduced to 78.7% of the initial concentration in saturated zone when hot air was sparged. The TPH concentrations were decreased to 66.1% for room temperature air sparging. The amount of VOCs for hot air sparging system, in air space, was approximately 26% larger than constant air sparging system. The amount of $CO_2$ was 4,555 mg (in unsaturated zone) and 4,419 mg (in air space) when hot air was sparged was 3,015 mg (in unsaturated zone) and 3,634 mg (in air space) for room air temperature in the $CO_2$ amount. The removals of VOCs and biodegradable $CO_2$ through the hot air sparging system (modified SVE) were more effective than the room temperature air sparging. The regression equation were $Y=976.4e^{-0.015{\cdot}X}$, $R^2=0.98$ (hot air sparging) and $Y=1055e^{-0.028{\cdot}X}$, $R^2=0.90$ (room temperaure air sparging). Estimated remediation time was approximately 500 days, if final saturated soil TPH concentration was set to 1.2 mg/L application of tail effect.

PVT법에 의한 AlN 단결정 성장에서 Hot-Zone 의존성 (Dependance of hot-zone position on AlN single crystal growth by PVT method)

  • PVT(Physical vapor transport)법을 이용하여 AlN 단결정을 성장시켰으며 유도 코일의 위치를 변화시켜가면서 핫존의 위치가 달라짐에 따라 변화하는 결과를 비교하였다. 그라파이트 도가니가 사용되었으며 그 규격은 ${\Phi}90{\times}H120$이었다. 온도는 $1950{\sim}2050^{\circ}C$이며 챔버 압력은 150에서 1 Torr까지 사용되었다. 또한 핫존은 실험 회차에 따라 변화를 주었으며 이 결과가 비교되었다. 핫존의 위치가 AlN 단결정 응축 위치에서부터 충분히 아래쪽(> 40 mm)인 경우 성장된 결정 사이즈는 다른 조건들에 비해 양호했지만(${\sim}300{\mu}m/hr$), 조건 재현성은 상당히 떨어졌다. 반대로 핫존과 AlN 성장 위치간의 거리가 가까워질수록 성장된 결정의 크기는 작아지고 결정의 핵이 생성되는 빈도는 낮아지면서 성장된 결정의 질의 안정성은 증가했다. 성장 속도와 품질 두 가지 면에서 초기 핫존 코일의 위치가 결정 성장 위치로부터 20 mm 정도일 때가 가장 우수했다. 핫존의 위치는 매우 민감한 결과를 주었고 이것에서 더 나아가 코일의 이동 속도 또한 최적으로 컨트롤 되어야만 최적의 성장 조건이 설정될 수 있다.

고강도 알루미늄합금 용접부의 고온균열 Mechanism (Mechanism of Hot Cracking in High Strength Al Welds)

  • This study evaluated relative hot cracking susceptibility of commercial aluminum alloy welds, and then suggested possible mechanisms operated in the weld fusion zone and in the heat affected zone based on the observed cracking morphologies, fractography and microstructural features. The fusion zone solidification cracking was found to be mainly due to a microsegregation of Cu, Si, and Mg in grain boundaries, while liquation cracking in the HAZ was by the incipient melting of the segregated grain boundaries and the consitutional liquation of large aging precipitates and intermetallic compounds in the partially melted zone adjacent to the fusion line which experienced a rapid thermal excursion during welding.

  • 추적권은 추적국의 영해, 접속수역 기타 관할수역내에서 외국선박이 추적국의 법령을 위반한 경우 동 선박을 나포하기 위하여 공해상까지 계속하여 추적할 수 있는 권리로서 연안국이 영해나 기타 일정수역내에서 위법행위를 한 외국선박을 공해로 도주하기 전에 나포하는 것 이 용이하지 않으므로 도주하는 범법외국선박을 공해상까지 추적하여 나포하고 동선박을 연안국에 인도하여 연안국의 재판관할권을 행사하는 제도가 인정되어 왔으며 이러한 권리를 해양법상의 추적권 (the Right of hot pursuit) 라고 한다. 이에 우리나라의 해양관할권의 현황과 불법행위의 특성 등을 연구하여 해상집행력을 고찰해 보고 추적권에 관한 연구를 기술해 보았다.
