The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of horseback riding participation motivation on emotional style and subjective well-being. In order to achieve this research objective, adults aged 20 or older participating in equestrian clubs in Seoul, Jeolla-do, and Gyeonggi regions in 2022 were selected as the population. The sampling method used cluster random sampling, and a total of 250 people, 180 males and 120 females, were sampled. The survey tool was modified and supplemented for this study based on a questionnaire whose reliability and validity were verified in previous studies, and all questionnaire questions were structured on a 5-point scale. For data analysis, SPSS Windows 21.0 Version was used to perform statistical processing according to the purpose of analysis. The conclusions obtained in this study through data analysis according to these methods and procedures are as follows. First, the motivation to participate in horseback riding was found to partially affect emotional style. Second, the motivation to participate in horseback riding was found to partially affect subjective well-being. Third, the emotional style of horseback riding participants was found to partially affect subjective well-being. Considering these results, it is possible to satisfy various desires in modern people's lives through leisure sports activities such as horseback riding, which allows them to communicate with nature and living things. In other words, internal motivation factors such as social relationships, satisfaction of needs, and professional development through leisure sports activities are positively or negatively related to emotional regulation, and this has a close impact on satisfaction with one's life and happiness.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of postural control training using a horseback riding simulation on the spinal alignment of children with cerebral palsy. Methods: This study was conducted with 30 children with cerebral palsy at levels I~IV in the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS), and they were randomly divided into a control group and a hippotherapy group. Both the control group and the experimental group received NDT for 30 minutes per session, four times per week for ten weeks, while the experimental group also received hippotherapy 15 minutes per session, four times per week for ten weeks, after the neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT). The horseback riding simulators (JOBA, EU7805, Panasonic) used in this study simulated actual horse movements. Trunk imbalance, pelvic torsion, and pelvic tilt were measured in each group before the exercise and five weeks and ten weeks after the beginning of the exercise using a spinal structure analysis system (ABW Mapper). Results: The Intra-group effects on trunk imbalance, pelvic torsion, and pelvic tilt according to the exercise periods after the hippotherapy were tested, and the results showed significant interaction effects between the groups and the periods (p<0.05). Conclusion: The horseback riding simulation exercise was shown to be effective for the spinal alignment of children with cerebral palsy. Therefore, additional studies should be conducted with more children with CP divided by type.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of using a horseback riding simulation on static balance in children with cerebral palsy. Methods: This study was conducted with 30 children with cerebral palsy at levels I~IV in the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS), who were randomly divided into a control group and a hippotherapy group. Both the control group and the experimental group received NDT for 30 minutes per session, four times per week, for ten weeks, while the experimental group also received hippotherapy, 15 minutes per session, four times per week, for ten weeks, after the neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT). The horseback riding simulators JOBA (JEU7805, Panasonic, 일본) used in this study simulated actual horse movements; static balance was measured in each group before the exercise and five weeks and ten weeks after the beginning of the exercise using a pedoscan system (Diers Pedo, Germany). Results: The intergroup effects on static balance were tested, and the results showed no significant differences (p<0.05). Conclusion: The horseback riding simulation exercise was shown to be effective for the static balance of children with cerebral palsy.
This study was performed on 26 disabled adolescent participants (16 male, 10 female) with the objective of testing changes in equilibrium after engagement in horseback riding. Participants of total 26 persons were divided into three groups as follows: 6 children with Cerebral Palsy (CP), 14 children with Intellectual Disability (ID) and 6 children with Autism (AT). Participants engaged in therapeutic horseback riding (TR) two times per week for 30 minutes per session. The 26 participants demonstrated a considerable increase in equilibrium ability, with an average increase in equilibrium time of $44.22{\pm}50.70$ sec after TR. Equilibrium also increased according to disability group: CP (P < 0.05), ID (P < 0.001), and AT (P < 0.05). TR should be considered as a possible method for improving functionality in the physically disabled. This data may also be usefully applied to the development of a horseback riding program for the improvement of equilibrium in the disabled.
In this paper, We propose the aesthetic exploration of horseback riding is considered to be the process of pursuing physical, mental, emotional, and social beauty. Despite the search effect of aesthetics in various aspects, the study of equestrian aesthetics in the field of physical education in Korea is very insufficient. Equestrian aesthetics is being studied in the field of special physical education and is being studied in the fields of rehabilitation and therapeutic horseback riding. Horse riding is a type of exercise. However, studies that track and observe various changes are inadequate. The purpose of this study is to explore the theory of equestrian aesthetics and to explore the possibility of approaching aesthetic theory from the top of horseback riding and to extend the area of equestrian game aesthetically. Until now, horse riding has been thought to be an aristocratic sport. Today, however, everyone can participate. Horseback riding is a sport for raising livelihoods, and it is a special sport that animals and humans enjoy in harmony. Equestrianism is a method of aesthetics from below, a philosophical method of aesthetics from the top, and a scientific method of empirical or positivistic direction. This study examines equestrian aesthetics from aesthetic point of view through the whole process of horse riding. The purpose of this study is to explore the aesthetics of horse riding through an aesthetic approach from the top, and to study the nature of aesthetics, a philosophical debate on beauty, Art can be divided into two categories: empiricism and positivism. For the sake of simplicity, the former is called the philosophical method, the latter is called the scientific method, and the latter is called the aesthetic from the bottom. Generally, in art, artistic, artistic works, perfumers, if you are grasped in the triangular shape, equestrian aesthetics can be described as triplets such as horse riding, passengers, and spectators. It was not easy to give satisfactory results in suggesting a new theory or a clear discussion due to lack of precedent research.
