관계형 데이터베이스에서 PIVOT 연산과 차등 파일을 이용한 수평 뷰의 점진적인 관리 (Incremental Maintenance of Horizontal Views Using a PIVOT Operation and a Differential File in Relational DBMSs)

  • OLAP 이나 e-비즈니스 환경에서는 다차원 데이터의 효율적인 분석을 위하여, 데이터를 여러 형태로 표현하거나 저장한다. 이러한 다차원 구조의 데이터를 차원 애트리뷰트들의 값으로 표시되는 넓은 형태의 수평 뷰로 표현한다. 수평 뷰는 여러 소스로부터 수집한 요약 정보를 유지하도록 실체 뷰로서 저장되며, 복잡한 질의들을 효율적으로 처리하기 위해 사용된다. 그러나, 소스 데이터가 변경될 경우 수평 뷰들의 내용도 수정해야 하는 데, 소스 데이터들이 여러 사이트에 분산되어 있기 때문에 수평 뷰를 관리하는 것은 어렵다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 점진적인 뷰 관리 방법 중의 하나로 차등 파일을 이용하여 수평 뷰를 관리하는 효율적인 방법을 제시한다. 이러한 방법은 상용 RDBMS에서 제공하는 PIVOT 연산을 이용하여 저장된 수직 형태의 소스 테이블을 수평 뷰로 변환하고, 수직 테이블의 변경 사항을 반영한 차등 파일을 이용하여 수평 뷰에서도 동일하게 적용하는 방법이다. 이를 위해, 우선 저장된 수직 테이블에서 수평 뷰로 변환하여 처리하는 전체적인 프레임워크를 제안한다. 제안한 프레임워크 하에서 수직 테이블을 수평 뷰로 변환하는 PIVOT 연산을 정의한다. 다음으로, 수직 테이블로부터 데이터가 변경될 경우, 데이터에 대한 변경 사항을 차등 파일로 저장한 후, 이를 이용하여 수평 뷰를 갱신하는 방법을 제안한다. 특히, 차등 파일의 구조는 수평 뷰의 구조와 다르기 때문에, 수평 뷰에 적합하도록 변경 사항을 변환해야 한다. 마지막으로 실험을 통하여 제안한 방법은 다른 방법에 비해서 평균 1.2$\sim$5.0배까지 성능을 향상시킴을 보인다.

접착식 콘크리트 덧씌우기 포장의 부착거동 연구 (A Study on the Bond-Behavior of Bonded Concrete Overlays)

  • PURPOSES: In Korea, rapid maintenance of distressed concrete pavement is required to prevent traffic jam of the highway. Asphalt concrete overlay has been used as a general maintenance method of construction for aged concrete pavement. AC overlay on existing concrete pavements experience various early distresses such as reflection crack, pothole and rutting, due to different physical characteristics between asphalt overlay and existing concrete pavement. Bonded concrete overlay(BCO) is a good alternative since it has advantages that can reduce various distresses during the service life since overlay material has similar properties with existing concrete pavements. Recently, BCO which uses the ultra rapid harding cement has been applied for maintenance of highway. BCO has advantage of structural performance since it does monolithic behave with existing pavement. Therefore, it is important to have a suitable bond strength criteria for securing performance of BCO. Bond strength criteria should be larger than normal tensile stress and horizontal shear stress occurred by traffic and environmental loading at bond interface. Normal tensile stress and horizontal shear stress need to estimated for the establishment of practical bond strength criteria. METHODS: This study aimed to estimate the bond stresses at the interface of BCO using the three dimensional finite element analysis. RESULTS: As a result of this study, major failure mode and maximum bond stress are evaluated through the analysis of normal tensile stress and horizontal shear stress for various traffic and environmental load conditions. CONCLUSIONS: It was known that normal tensile stresses are dominated by environmental loading, and, horizontal shear stresses are dominated by traffic loading. In addition, bond failure occurred by both of normal tensile stresses and horizontal shear stresses; however, normal tensile stresses are predominated over horizontal shear stresses.

국내 적용되고 있는 흙막이구조물의 수평변위에 대한 관리기준치 분석 (A Control Value Analysis on the Horizontal Displacement of Braced Excavation Walls Used In Korea)

  • This study aims to present a more reasonable control value than the exiting one by comparing and analyzing control values and field instrument8tion values of the whole excavation depth of the four case sites, using geometric averaging as a statistical method. The range of the study is confined to the horizontal displacement of braced excavation walls among a variety of items, prescribed in the control values by approximately of the allowable and design values, and by safety factors. As a result, it is desirable to revise 70, 90, and 100 percent of LEVEL I, II, and III, respectively. The horizontal displacement values of the allowable and design values approximations should change to 104, 133, and 148 percent of the allowable and design values, respectively. In addition, modifying the horizontal displacement control value of the braced excavation walls is not needed. The horizontal displacement value, presented in the control value as a safety factor, is now 1.19, as it has a slight difference from the present value.

수평원통형 저장탱크의 지진취약도 해석 (Seismic Fragility Analysis of Ground Supported Horizontal Cylindrical Tank)

  • 유연한 벽체를 가지면서 내용물이 일부분 저장된 수평원통형 저장탱크의 내진성능을 평가하기 위하여 지진취약도 해석을 수행하였다. 충격질량과 유연질량의 두 개의 집중질량을 갖는 등가의 간이모델로 저장탱크를 모델화하였으며, 이 모델의 유효성은 구조물-유체 상호작용을 고려한 3D 해석모델의 응답이력해석을 통해서 검증하였다. 이 등가의 간이모델에 대해서 양방향 지반운동에 대해 지진해석을 수행하였으며 종축방향과 직각방향에 대해 안정성과 관련한 지진취약도 곡선을 도출하였다. 그 결과 수평원통형 저장탱크는 직각방향에 대해서 지진 시 피해가 발생할 가능성이 큰 것으로 평가되었다.

  • Superimposition of horizontal and vertical curves may hamper the ride comfort and the running stability of train and largely affect the maintenance cost. However, in many cases, it's not easy to make a track plan because of the fixed points (bridge, tunnel, turnout, catenary system, etc.) to be avoided due to the geographic conditions or to be passed for utilization of existing structures. In this study, when the horizontal and vertical curves are superimposed, in order to optimize the horizontal curve in aspect of the ride comfort, the object function $P_{CT}$ was developed and verified by vehicle dynamic analysis. Also, the solution algorithm for simplified evaluation method was presented.

철근콘크리트 프레임면내 조적벽체의 내진성능 평가 및 개선기술 (Improvement and Evaluation of Seismic Resistant Performance of Reinforced Concrete Infilled Masonry Frame)

  • Five reinforced concrete rigid frame and masonry infilled wall and cut off type masonry infilled wall were tesed during vertical and cyclic loads simultaneously. Experimental programs were accomplished to improve and evaluate the structural performance of test specimens, such as the hysteretic behavior, the maximum horizontal strength, crack propagation, and ductility etc. Test variables are hoop reinforcement ratio, with or without masonry infilled wall, and masonry method. All the specimens were constructed in one-third scale size. Based on the test results, the following conclusions can be made. For masonry infilled wall(IFB-1), maximum horizontal capacity was increased by 1.45 time in comparision with that of rigid frame(FB-0). For cut off masonry infilled wall (IFBC-1~3), maximum horizontal capacity was increased by 1.73~1.98 time in comparision with that of rigid frame(FB-0). For cut off masonry infilled wall(IFBG-1~3), ductility was increased by 1.48~2.08 time in comparision with that of masonry infilled wall (IFB-1).

선박 공조닥트의 특성분석에 관한 사례 연구 - 유지관리용 로봇의 이동 알고리즘 개발을 위한 분석 - (A Case Study on the Analysis of Characteristics of Marine HVAC Duct - For the Development of Maintenance Robot's Movement Algorithm -)

  • This study is focused on the analysis of the characteristics of marine HVAC duct. These results will be applied to develope a robot which is for maintaining a cabin comfort, convenience and healthy through HVAC duct. The followings are the results of this study. (1) The evaluated items which proposed by at the view point of robot's function can be adapted to other vessels for the same purpose, (2) For the case of round type duct. the maximized conditions which robot has to have are straight length of 40.152mm, inclination of $45^{\circ}$. horizontal bending of $90^{\circ}$. increasing diameter of 1.28 times, and 0.625 times decreasing diameter in branch. (3) For the case of rectangular type duct. the maximized conditions are straight length of 15.987mm. aspect ratio of 4.17:1, inclination of $18.92^{\circ}$. horizontal bending of $90^{\circ}$, and 0.65 times decreasing diameter in branch.

ARS를 이용한 2바퀴 로봇의 자세 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Pose Control for 2 wheel Robot using ARS)

  • In this paper, configuration control for the Horizontal Maintenance of the 2 wheel robot has been studied using ARS(Attitude Refrence System). The 2 wheel robot technique is getting attention and there have been many researches on the seg-way since the US. Using its 2 freedom, a 2 wheel robot can move in various modes and Our robot performs goal reaching ARS.2 wheel robot fall down to the forward or reverse direction to converge to the stable point. Kalman Filter is normally used for the algorithm and numerous research is progressing at the moment. To calculate the attitude in ARS using 2 axis gyro(roll, pitch) and 3 axis accelerometers (x, y, z). In this paper we present a two wheel robot system for an autonomous mobile robot. This paper realized the robot control method which is much simpler but able to get desired performance by using the ARS control.

GIS 프로그래밍을 이용한 도로중심선 평면선형 평가 (Evaluation on the Horizontal Alignment of Road Centerline using GIS Programming)

  • 도로의 평면 선형은 도로의 안정성과 교통 용량과 관계가 깊다. 도로의 효율적인 유지 관리와 기준에 대한 적합성 평가를 위해서는 도로의 평면 선형을 정확하게 분석하는 방법이 필요하다. 최근 Lidar자료나 GPS를 이용한 도로의 평면 선형 연구가 진행되고 있으나 넓은 지역에서의 평면 선형 곡선 반경을 분석하기에는 여러 가지 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 수치지형도의 도로중심선을 이용하여 곡선 반경이 도로 구조 시설기준에 적합한지 여부를 평가하는 도구를 GIS 상에서 구현하고자 한다. 또한 $ESRI^{(R)}$ $ArcObject^{TM}$와 프로그래밍 언어인 비주얼 베이직(Visual Basic)을 사용해 도로의 평면선형을 자동적으로 산정할 수 있는 인터페이스를 설계 구현하였다.

무인 항공기 이착륙을 위한 베벨 기어 기반 수평 유지 스테이션의 개념 설계 (Conceptual Design of Bevel Gear-based Leveling Station for Take-off and Landing of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles)

  • Recently, with the increase in the use of UAV(unmanned aerial vehicles), research on horizontal maintenance stations that can take off and land in various environments has been actively conducted. These stations can safely land UAV through multiple DOF(degrees of freedom) or at least 2-DOF-based actuator actuation. Among them, many researchers are dealing with the multi-DOF stewart platform due to its high safety. However, the stewart platform requires high-precision control technology because it requires a lot of torque to actuate according to the load action. Therefore, in this paper, to solve the mentioned problem, a bevel gear-based 2-DOF horizontal maintenance station system is proposed. The proposed system is configured to prevent damage due to air resistance when maintaining ships and to install it in a small space. Also, in terms of system configuration, the bevel gear-based horizontal maintenance system has the main advantage of being able to take off and land UAVs of various sizes through the replacement of station pads. The driving of the system consists of a simple form that can control the motor by adjusting the rotation speed of the motor according to the sea waveform.
