  • 홈네트워크를 구현해 가정에 서비스를 전달하기 위해서는 가정내의 홈네트워크 환경, 서비스를 가정까지 전달해주는 외부의 네트워크 환경, 그리고 다양한 서비스 및 콘텐츠의 제공 둥이 필요하다. 다양한 통신망의 변혁 속에서 홈네트워크는 이용자가 직접 통신망에 접속하여 각종 통신망 서비스를 이용하는 정보인프라의 최종단으로 위치하고, 사람의 순환계에 있어서 실핏줄과 같은 역할을 담당하는 부분이며, 홈게이트웨이는 이를 투명하게 전달, 중재하는 핵심역할을 담당한다. 따라서 홈게이트웨이 기능의 변화, 시장 전개 시나리오와 서비스 발전에 따른 홈게이트웨이의 진화 전망을 통하여 홈게이트웨이 업체의 주도권 전망을 분석하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 가정내 환자가 Zigbee 등의 센서로 측정한 생체정보들을 통하여 U-Healthcare 서비스를 하려고 할 때 고려하여야 하는 홈네트워크의 표준화를 위하여 홈네트워크 미들웨어들의 동향을 간단히 알아보고 그에 준하여 홈게이트웨이의 표준을 연구하고 최적 모델을 도출하여 그에 따라 프로토타입을 설계 후 구현하였다.

  • 홈네트워크 기술은 가정 내의 모든 정보 가전기기가 유무선 홈네트워크로 연결되어 누구나 기기, 시간, 장소에 구애 받지 않고 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 디지털 홈을 구성하는 핵심요소이다. 본 논문은 제 II, III장에서 홈네트워크 구성요소 및 사업전망을 살펴보고 제 IV장에서 홈네트워크와 외부 서비스 네트워크 간의 브리지 역할을 하는 홈서버/게이트웨이의 세부 기능 및 기술 동향을 분석한다. 또한 제 V장에서 홈네트워크 서비스 현황을 살펴본 후 앞으로 지능형 서비스의 형태로 홈네트워크에서 활용될 수 있도록 활용방안을 제안하며 결론을 맺는다.

  • 현존하는 홈 네트워크 기반의 건물들은 신축 시부터 홈 네트워크 구상 하에 만들어졌지만, 기존의 건물에서 홈 네트워킹을 실현하기 위해서는 리모델링을 해야 하는 어려움이 따른다. 또한 JINI, UPnP, Bluetooth 등의 미들웨어 기술은 IP를 기반으로 하는데, 현재의 IPv4 기반 하에서 TP의 고갈될 전망과 IPv6로 전환되어서도 각각의 가전 기기들이 개개의 IP를 갖는다는 것은 낭비를 초래한다. 이런 문제점의 대안으로 본 논문에서는 NON­IP 기반의 X10 디바이스와 Embedded Gateway를 이용하여 인터넷이 가능한 곳이면 어디에서든 가전기기를 쉽고, 빠르게 제어할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다.

Interworking between PPP CHAP and RADIUS Authentication Server on GPRS Network (GPRS 망에서 PPP CHAP과 RADIUS 인증 서버 연계 방안)

  • We usually applied PPP CHAP (Point-to-Point Protocol Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol) when the visited ISP subscriber accesses to authentication server in own home ISP network and IP Assignment for remote Internet service. But PPP CHAP doesn't support in case of visited ISP subscriber in GPRS network accesses to authentication server in own home ISP network for wireless Internet service. We suggest solution this problem with PPP CHAP improvement. For this we propose the modified PPP CHAP message format, PCO Message format at MT, and interworking message and format between GGSN and RADIUS in home ISP network for wireless internet service of mobile ISP subscriber at GPRS network in this paper. We also show authentication results when visited mobile ISP subscriber via PPP CHAP at GPRS network accesses the RADIUS server in home ISP network.

  • Recently, as science and technology is very growing, wire and wireless communication is merged and interconnected. Therefore, advanced internet technology allow all kinds of communication to integrate with heterogeneous device and sensors. The representative example is smart home network based on internet of things. Communication surroundings under IoT services are more complex. Conventional encryption techniques can't provide to IoT application because of its limited resources such as small memory capacity and low computing power. In this paper, we analyzed authentication procedure between home gateway and node in sensor under smart home network.

  • The widespread use of smart home appliances with smart home networking is leading to a next generation of a new technology that exploit user contextual information to provide a richer experience. However, in the most part of home networking systems the intelligent personalization services between user and home appliances have not been adequately supplied in respect of the long lifespan of the legacy home appliances. In addition, without installing smart home appliances when constructing new building the users can not use this service. To use this service, the legacy home appliance need to attach enabler equipped with the various sensors just as it is smart home appliances. The goal is to create a service that enables appliances to exchange information and control their actions through the IoT gateway to achieve nonintrusive behavior and customized services without human intervention. In this paper, we propose a ontology model to represent the user context to be able to induce right service automatically and use it to discover, utilize and enhance different services in real time that the user may be interested in.

  • Generally home networks are based on wired network and wireless network. This makes customers be capable of using electric home appliances and full-duplex multimedia services and controlling the machines without any restrictions of place or time. Now that the scope of home security is being extended, the home networks can be formed with not only personal computer but also home automation, electric home appliances, and etc. But this causes many of attacks of invasion and damages. Therefore in this paper we suggest the SSIP(Secure Session Initiate protocol) model for solving those problems. The SSIP model is able to provide an efficient authentication and reduce the time of session re-establishment and set-up by adding ability of SIP authentication to Cluster-to-Cluster environment performed on home gateway.

  • Since it costs a lot to build a home network system of new service provider, the entry barrier is quite high. If it would be possible to build a home network system with high performance at a low building cost, it would be quite attractive. If a home network would be built in P2P-SIP(Peer to peer - Session Initiation Protocol) structure, it is possible to decrease server maintenance cost and keep high usability by deconcentrating the traffic concentrated on the server. It is also possible to efficiently manage the location information of terminal, if quorum system based on fuzzy logic would be applied. In this paper we propose the P2P-SIP structure applied of quorum system based on fuzzy logic by which a home network system can be built at low cost. It was possible to know by comparing the structure with existing one that the structure has very good performance.
