홈네트웍은 정보통신 네트웍의 최종단인 가정 내 통신망이다. 이제까지 백본 네트웍이나 엑세스 네트웍 등에 비해 상대적으로 연구가 적었지만 최근 들어서 가정 내에서 복수 개의 PC 의 사용이 증가되면서 홈네트웍에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 100Mbps 전송속도를 갖는 Home Network 구현을 위하여 두 가지 방법으로 시스템을 제안한다. 첫번째 방법은 현재 100Mbps 급 홈네트웍의 표준안으로 예상되는 OFDM 변조방식의 일종인 DMT방식을 사용하는 것이고, 두 번째는 최소대역폭 라인코딩 방식을 이용하는 것이다.

본 논문에서는 스마트폰, 스마트 TV와 PC를 이용하여 사용자에게 보다 편리한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 편리한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 스마트 폰, 스마트 TV와 PC 간의 상호 연동을 위한 플랫폼을 설계하고 이를 소프트웨어로 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 개발한 스마트 폰 어플리케이션은 스마트 TV와 무선 통신하여 스마트 TV 채널과 음량등을 제어하고 사용자 인증 서비스를 제공한다. PC는 스마트 폰에 저장되어 있는 사용자 정보를 이용하여 원격 부팅과 원격 로그인 서비스를 제공한다. 본 논문에서 설계하고 구현한 소프트웨어 플랫폼이 가까운 미래의 스마트 생활에서 다양한 스마트 기기간의 상호 연동 소프트웨어 플랫폼 개발에 초석이 되길 바란다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the level of awareness, uses, and satisfaction on home automation systems by the digital home residents, to reveal the existing problems using home automation systems, and to clarify residents' positive or negative life changes after using home automation systems. Two apartment complexes, which were relatively well equipped with home automation systems compared to other recently built apartments, were selected to perform the survey by digital home residents who were housewives and have lived in current home more than 6 months. The researcher developed a survey questionnaire for each apartment complex and collected data from 501 residents from May to June, 2008. The results of the study found low awareness and low uses of remote control systems of electric appliances through a cellular phone or PC from outside. Also, the significant variables which showed group differences in level of uses and satisfation were age, annual income, duration of residence, and level of considering home automation system before decision to move in. The results of the study also revealed that frequent breakdown was the most critical problem using home automation systems. Generally, using home automation systems affected to residents' life changes positively. More findings and suggestions for development of more user-friendly digital home services were discussed.

MeOH extracts of eight herbal medicines were investigated for the effects on catecholamine biosynthesis and tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) activity in PC12 cells. Among them, the MeOH extracts of Polygalae Radix and Rehmaniae Radix showed 32 and 22% inhibition on the dopamine biosynthesis, respectively at a concentration of $40{\mu}g/ml$ medium. But, the TH activity was reduced by the treatment of Polygalae Radix. These results suggest that Polygalae Radix has an inhibitory effect on the catecholamine biosynthesis by the reduction of TH activity in PC12 cells.

본 논문에서는 일반 사무실 및 홈 네트워크의 PC를 포함한 다양한 주변 기기들의 과다한 전력소모를 최소화하기 위한 전력관리서버(EMS), 네트워크 멀티콘센트(Smart Plug), PC 제어를 위한 PC Agent 그리고 원격지에서의 관리를 위한 스마트폰 App. 을 개발하고 그 성능을 평가하였다.

This study was designed to examine the quality of life among new generation housewives. Selected variables were home management consciousness and home management behavior, and satisfaction with family life. Path analysis was used to test the causal model of quality of life. The data for this study were collected from 834 housewives, and analyzed employing SPSS $PC^+$ statistical package. Major findings were as follows: 1. The satisfaction with family life was the strongest predictor of the quality of life. 2. Home management behavior had both direct and indirect effect via satisfaction with family life on the quality of life. 3. Home management consciousness had indirect effect through home management behavior and satisfaction with family life on the quality of life. Implications were discussed.

The Smart home energy consumption represents much of the total energy consumed in advanced countries. For this reason, the main objectif of this paper is to study the energy consumption profile by day for each home appliances: controllable appliances for example Washing machine, Tumble dryer and Air conditioning and uncontrollable appliances for example TV, PC, Lighting, Refrigerator and Electric heater. In this paper, we start with presentation of a smart home energy management systems. Next, we present the modeling and simulation of controllable appliances and uncontrollable appliances. Finally, concludes this paper with some prospects. The modeling and the simulation of a Smart home appliances is based on MATLAB/Simulink software.

The home network system guarantees families a safe, economical, socially integrated and healthy life by using information appliances. And it provides a family with domestic safety, control of instruments, controllable energy and health monitoring by connecting to home appliances. This study designs the broadband PLC home controller using broadband PLC(Power Line Communication) technology which can save much cost at a network infrastructure by using the existing power line at home. The broadband PLC home controller consists of the broadband PLC module, the embedded main controller module and I/O module. The broadband PLC home controller can control various domestic appliances such as an auto door-lock, a boiler, an oven, etc., because it has various I/O specifications. In this study, selected home network middleware for the broadband PLC home controller is Jini surrogate using Jini technology designed by means of access to easily a home network system without a limitation of the devices. And a client application program is supported java servlet program to manage and monitor the broadband PLC home controller via web browser of a PC or a PDA, etc. Finally, for an application, we implemented and tested a home security system using one broadband PLC home controller.

최근 들어 가정 내 태양광과 에너지저장시스템을 도입하여 에너지 자립도를 높이고자 하는 기술 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 낮에 생산된 전기를 에너지 저장 시스템에 충전해 두고 전기요금이 높을 때 사용함으로써 효율적인 에너지 관리를 수행할 수 있다. 국내에서는 아직까지 가정용 실시간 요금제가 이루어지고 있지 않지만 누진제 상의 일정 목표까지 전기 사용량을 낮출 수 있다. 가정 내 태양광을 도입하기 위해서는 전력 변환장치인 PCS를 필요로 한다. PCS는 직류로 생산된 전력을 교류로 변환하여 사용하고 에너지 저장 시스템의 충방전을 수행하도록 한다. 에너지 자립형 스마트 홈 시스템은 태양광, 에너지저장시스템에 대한 일반인들의 관심이 높아지면서 해외를 중심으로 시장이 형성되는 단계이다. 본 논문의 결과물은 실환경에 설치되어 검증을 수행하였으며 실시간 요금제를 가정하여 에너지 절감 효과를 분석하였다.

This study examined housework time management strategies between married female home-based workers and on-site workers, and found out the factors affecting the housework time management strategies. The data were collected from 165 married female home-based workers, and 292 married female on-site workers in Pusan and Kyungnam province, by self-administered questionnaire. Frequency distributions, Cronbachs alpha, t-tests, Pearsons correlations, and multiple regression analyses were conducted by SPSS/PC+. The major findings of this study were kas follows: 1) Married female home-based workers more used obtaining additional help and personal time reallocation than married female on-site workers. 2) For married female home-based workers, educational attainment and occupation were significant factors affecting housework time management strategies, and for married female on-site workers, employment hours per week and existence of elders/disability within the family were important variables.
