  • Powerline communication is the data signal which is modulated by carrier frequency through the installed powerline at in-home or office is transmitted and received signals are separated into data signal with using band-pass filter which cent-frequency is carrier frequency. The home gateway, an equipment which works as an gateway for ubiquitous home network, relays all functions of a home network. The home gateway must always be connected in order to provide seamless services. However it gives unfavorable power consumption. Therefore the needs for working in maximum power saving mode while there is no data traffic and for invoking to the normal function when it is necessary. So, in this paper we survey the development of low power PLC modem monitoring of power consumption and breaking abnormal power in the home Network.

가정 내 사고의 발생 실태 분석 (Analysis on Home Accidents in Korea)

  • 소방기관의 구조$\cdot$구급일지와 통계청의 사망원인통계 자료를 이용하여 가정 내 사고의 실태에 대해 분석하였고, 선진국의 가정 내 사고 실태를 알아보았다 연구내용을 요약하면 다음과 같다 1)가정 내 사고는 유아와 고령자에게서 많이 발생하고 있다. 특히 고령연령대에서 발생빈도가 높다. 2) 고령화사회가 진전될수록 가정 내 사고로 인한 사망자가 증가한다. 3) 가정 내 사고 실태에 대해 선진국 수준의 실태조사와 정부차원의 가정 내 사고 예방대책 마련이 필요하다.

아산지역에 있어서의 $NO_{2}$ 개인 피폭량에 미치는 각종 생활행동 패턴의 영향 (Effects of Human Activity Patterns on Personal Exposure Levels of Nitrogen Dioxide in A-San Area)

  • Personal exposure levels of $NO_{2}$ for office workers and housewives Living in A-San and neighboring prefectures were measured in two seasons with $NO_{2}$ filter badge. $NO_{2}$ concentrations in indoor and outdoor air in their offices and houses were also measured in the same periods. Personal exposure levels in winter ranged from 13 to 132 ppb and its distribution pattern was remarkably different from the other seasons (15.2-17.9 ppb). This fact suggests that use of heating apparatus affects largely $NO_{2}$ indoor air pollution in winter seasons. Actually, $NO_{2}$ exposure levels of subjects used Kerosene heater (43.6ppb) and gas heater (33.4ppb) were higher than those of subjects unused heating apparatus (18.0ppb). Personal exposure levels of $NO_{2}$ for man and woman Living in the same houses were correlated well each other. The time spent indoors for office workers and housewives were both longer than 22 hour a day. Home staying time was about 60% of total indoor staying time for office workers and 90% or more for housewives. Personal exposure levels were significantly related to indoor exposure levels at home all seasons. Furthermore, personal exposure levels could be estimated from $NO_{2}$ concentrations and staying times in various Living environment.

병원환자의 당뇨병 식이요법 실태조사 제일보 병원영양실의 환자영양교육현황 (A Report on Diet Counselling for Diabetic Patients 1. Patient Education and Dietary Consultation by Hospital Dietitions)

  • The current scope of diabetic patient education and dietary consultation by hospital dietitians were studied. A questionnare was sent to 54 dietitians in 32 hospitals throughout Korea. The major results are as follows: 1. The frequency of dietary consultation for diabetic patients is of low level: only 14 patients were seen such services at average per month. 2. Only one hospital establishes independent office for dietary consultation for in-and-out patients and in 3 hospitals among 32 hospital dietitians practice regular rounds to visits patients. 3. Consistant patterns and methods to counsel patients were established in 53% of hospitals. In remaining hospitals, teaching methods depend entirely on the individual dietitians. 4. A few hospitals have teaching aids and follow-up systems. 5. Most dietitians want strongly the establishment of independent office for dietary consultation, but its establishment was hindered by the poor system in the hospital administration and lack of preparation in the dietetics.

젊은 기혼여성의 출산 후 취업연속성 결정요인 (Factors That Decide the Job Continuity of Young Mothers)

  • This study analyzes the critical factors that decide the job continuity of married women after one of their life events, childbirth. It is based on the employment data from KLIPS(Korea Labor and Income Panel Study). Vols. 1-4, having observed 128 young mothers who gave birth to children after 1997. The analysis showed that women's employment after their maternity leave depend on whether new mother return to their previous job or not. The Following results are obtained: First, women's age, education, availability of caretakers for their children, and family income have a positive effect on the women's return to their pre-leave employers after childbirth. Second, professional or office work and the frequency of job transition before childbirth have a positive effect on women's employment in new jobs after childbirth. Third, women's age, availability of caretakers of their children, and professional or office work are critical factors that have a positive effect on women's job continuity after childbirth, whereas the frequency of job transitions has a negative effect on employment for women.

  • This paper proposes a virtual storage system for smart home/office embedded devices by utilizing AoE and HyperSCSI protocols. It relies on current Ethernet infrastructures and aims to provide a low-cost solution for the storage limitation problem on embedded devices. We choose AoE (ATA over Ethernet) and HyperSCSI in our implementation because they are relatively lightweight compared to other network storage protocols such as NFS(Network File System), CIFS(Common Internet File System) and iSCSI(internet Small Computer System Interface). The design and architecture of our proposed virtual system as well as the prototype demonstration are presented in this paper.

가정교과에서의 저출산.고령사회를 위한 교육과 실천 사례 (Education and Application for low Fertility.Aged Society in Home Economics Education)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 '저출산 고령사회' 대비를 위하여 가정교과의 역할을 탐색하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 2007년 개정 교육과정에서의 저출산 고령사회 대비 가정교과 교육의 내용요소를 찾고, 정부에서 진행 중인 저출산 고령사회 대비 정책에서 가정교과 교육이 수행할 수 있는 역할과 실천방안을 강구한 결과를 바탕으로 서울 중구 건강가정지원센터에서 "부모와 자녀가 함께 듣는 '가정' 수업"을 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 저출산 고령사회 대비하기 위하여 가정교과는 선택으로서의 결혼, 가족생활역량의 강화, 건강한 가족문화 형성, 더불어 사는 이웃의 교육내용이 강조되어야 한다. 둘째, 이러한 교육내용은 '결혼 출산 양육에 대한 사회책임 강화', '일과 가정의 양립 가족친화적 사회문화 조성', '건강하고 보호받는 노후 생활 보장' 등의 새로마지플랜2010 사업과 서울특별시교육청의 저출산 고령사회 시행 계획에 포함된 '가족 친화 및 효문화 함양 교육 강화', '저출산 고형사회 관련 학교교육 강화', '양성평등 사회 조성 가치관 교육 강화' 등의 내용과 일치하였다. 셋째, 서울 중구건강가정지원센터에서 "부모와 자녀가 함께 듣는 가정 수업"을 실시한 결과 참가자들의 긍정정적 반응을 얻었고, 사회교육 현장에서도 중추적 역할이 가능하다는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 가정교과는 청소년들의 '저출산 고령사회'에 대한 의식을 함양시키고 이에 대한 가치판단과 자기 주도적 해결 능력을 양성할 수 있으며, 지역사회와 연계하여 저출산 고령사회 대비 교육이 실천가능하다는 사실을 알 수 있다.

  • Until now, we have a great progress in computer hardwares and computer softwares. Many people think these days as the information time or information society. Even though, we make a great progress in the computer science, we can not regard this society as the information society, if we do not accept the development of computer in our real life. In order to provide desirable residential environment for the information - society, it is necessary to review previous housing projects from the Industrial - Revolution to these days. Thus this study deals with limits of modern housings. This research also suggests a new housing concept for the information - society by reinterpretation of the Korean traditional houses. Use of space in the Korean traditional houses was mostly interpreted by the concept of sexual discrimination from Confucianism. However it is suggested in this study, that An-Chae is a home space for providing privacy of family and Sarang - Chae is a social space for providing social activity. Thus it is found that the Korean traditional house has been used as office as well as home. In this view, it is suggested that Korean traditional houses be the prototype of future house as a business space and also as a home space. In this study, 3 types of housing for the information - society are suggested; flat type, tower type and skip floor type. these houses have two entrances independently for the home space and the social space. Therefore each space has no interference with each other. Then one can do his own at home efficiently. He does not have to go to his office in downtown. One can relieve traffic congestions in the city and reduce air contamination.

SOHO환경을 위한 스마트 무선 침입 탐지 시스템 구현 (Smart Wireless Intrusion Detection System Implementation for SOHO Environment)

  • 정보통신기술의 발달을 기반으로 창업을 하는 영세 업체와 가택 근무 환경(Small Office Home Office: SOHO)이 늘고 있다. SOHO는 대부분 인터넷을 통해 업무를 처리하고 Wi-Fi의 이용이 일반화되어 있다. 무선통신환경은 쉽게 서비스거부(Denial of Service: DoS) 공격으로 통신에 장애가 생겨 업무환경 및 고객서비스에 영향을 받을 수 있다. 이를 방어하기 위한 방안으로 무선침입탐지시스템(Wireless Intrusion Detection System: WIDS)이 있다. 그러나 시중 WIDS는 구축비용이 비싸며, 관리 부담이 높아 자본력과 인력이 낮은 SOHO환경에서 사용하기에 어려움이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 관리운영의 부담을 줄이고 간단히 공격 위협을 인식할 수 있는 SOHO 환경을 위한 Smart WIDS를 제안하고 구현하였다. Raspberry Pi2를 Smart WIDS의 연산장치로 사용하고, 안드로이드 스마트폰을 Smart WIDS의 연계 공격감지 알림 인터페이스로 제공한다. Smart WIDS는 IEEE 802.11 기반의 Masquerading DoS 와 Resource Depletion DoS을 감지하여, WI-FI의 Pre-shared Key(PSK) 획득과 중간자 공격 시도나 서비스 제공을 방해하는 공격을 감지할 수 있다. 또 안드로이드 스마트폰은 해당 WI-FI의 감지된 공격을 관리자에게 알리며, 관리의 편의성을 제공한다.
