Purpose: This study was conducted in order to present the effects of case management of a home visiting health service for clients with hypertension. Method: One-group pretest-posttest design was used. The subjects were 280 clients who received case management among the first and second registered group. The data were eight-week-case management results from January to December, 2010. In order to evaluate the effect of the visiting nursing service, biological indexes(blood pressure, total cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein, BMI) and self-care abilities(knowledge/attitude of hypertension, management of medication, nutritional care, confidence of self care) were measured. Result: Biological indexes and self-care abilities were improved, except total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein. Conclusion: The case management of home visiting health service by public health centers is considered to be an effective nursing service. Therefore, greater effort is needed for better maintenance of case management, and more research is needed in order to examine a variety of biological indexes.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of home informatization on the family system. This study is based on the systems approach. A family system is composed of two major subsystems-personal and managerial. Managerial subsystem is concerned to instrumental function, such as time management and financial management. Personal subsystem is concerned to expressive function, such as family relations and interactions. So this study attempts to analyze the effects of Internet on the family system through time management, financial management, and family relations. The results from reviewing several related researches are that home informatization through Internet use has changed time management, financial management, and family relations. Finally this study suggests three plans of home informatization for contributing to improve the quality of family living.

The aim of the present study is to research into the household work time change and its structure in urban home makers by the choosen eleven studies and KBS's Data 1981, 1983, 1985, 1987. This study were proceeded under some limitations, it is choosen eleven studies that is different region: large city, medium and small town, and the household work's categories of original auther were changed. And KBS's Data was composed of general formation without personal character of home maker: FLC, number of childeren, family type, education, region. Although this study have a certain meaning of implementation, research into the household work time change and its's structure. The major findings of this study can be autlined as follows: (1) Total household work time did'nt so much changed through the choosen eleven studies compared with the last twenty years ago. In the change of each province household work time, time connected with meals and dwelling did not showed consistancy of change. But cloth laundering and mending time of 80's were declined compared with 70's. Family care time of 80's was increased, home management and buying time was declined untill '85, but again increasing trend '87. In choosen eleven studies, the household work time structure of urban home makers can be outlined: time connected with Meals>Family care>Cloth laundering and mending>Dwelling>Home management and Buying. (2) KBS's time-series data were analized as follows: a) Total household work time of '87 was declining gradually in weekday (34 minutes), sat. (41 minutes), sun (1 house and 2 minutes) compared with '81. b) The change of each province household work time: the time of cooking and sewing home management were declining gradually in its Mean time and its ratio of acters. The acter ratio of household worker in '81, '83, '85 was composed Cooking > Cleaning > Laundering > Home management > Buying > Child care > Sewing. In '87 was composed Cooking > Cleaning > Laundering > Buying > Home management > Child care > Sewing. c) The structure of household work time revealed some differences in each year and a day of the week.

Smart homes have become the state of the art in the reduction and monitoring of energy usage within a residential setting. Emerging threats such as climate change, global warming and volatility in energy prices have fuelled the interest in smart systems. Given that environmental sustainability has become a more significant factor for consumers, this research examines whether consumers' attitudes toward smart home services for efficient energy management differ according to their regulatory focus. Specifically, it is predicted that consumers will have more favorable attitudes toward smart home services for efficient energy management when they are promotion-focused (vs. prevention-focused). The results indicate that respondents with a promotion (vs. prevention) focus reported significantly more favorable attitudes toward smart home services for energy management (e.g., smart cooling/heating system, smart ventilation & air conditioning system, smart thermostats, smart plugs, and smart switches). We suggest that regulatory focus may be an effective marketing and segmentation tool in promoting smart home services for energy management and facilitating their receptiveness to the services.

This study aims at providing the data in order to understand home management and to mange home efficiently through attempting systems approach to home management focused on purchase decision making and marital role structure. For the purpose of this study, regarding housing purchase decision making process as a system, environmental characteristics as inputs, marital role structure and the satisfaction of purchase management as outputs, relation between inputs and outputs; the understanding about these components was established as research problem. And then the framework of analysis being based on theoretical references was suggested, and questionnaires were administrated to housewives. The result of this study is as follows: 1) Marital role structure was differently shown according to the phases of decision making process. 2) Marital role structure was differently shown according to the level of environmental characteristics. 3) The statisfaction of purchase manag ment was influenced by environmental characteristics. According to these results, home management can be understood in the view of system. That is, the morphostatic characteristics of family system can be grasped in environmental supra system in conideration of the structure of managerial sub system; the morphogenic characteristics of family system can be grasped centering on the relationship to environment.

Application of residential demand response (DR) programs are currently realized up to a limited extent due to customers' difficulty in manually responding to the time-differentiated prices. As a solution, this paper proposes an automatic home load management (HLM) framework to achieve the household minimum payment as well as meet the operational constraints to provide customer's comfort. The projected HLM method controls on/off statuses of responsive appliances and the charging/discharging periods of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and battery storage at home. This paper also studies the impacts of different time-varying tariffs, i.e., time of use (TOU), real time pricing (RTP), and inclining block rate (IBR), on the home load management (HLM). The study is effectuated in a smart home with electrical appliances, a PHEV, and a storage system. The simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed HLM program. Peak of household load demand along with the customer payment costs are reported as the consequence of applying different pricings models in HLM.

Home network technologies which interconnect various wire and wireless home appliances, access network technologies and service offer technologies are continuing growth. To provide secure services in the home, home network environment, access network environment, and various service and contents offer technologies are consist organically. Thesis of administration method of systematic and effective groove network is most urgent and important urea to offer safety and authoritativeness of home networking service in home network that strong certification and security function are required among these technologies. In this paper, we propose home gateway security management architecture and the way to use SNMPv3. Also, we propose structure and function of home network management system to support various home networking security scenarios.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to establish basic data for developing education program of tailor made visiting home health care. Method: For this study, the subject was recruited in one directorial area among 14 nation-wide areas. The data collection was done using self-report questionnaire developed by Korea Health Industry Development Institute. Ninety one questionnaires were analyzed and response rare was 88.3%. Result: The major results were as follows. Aspect of education operations, the satisfaction of education space was revealed high. However, the satisfaction of education time, hour, and schedule were low. The overall satisfaction of education contents were revealed high. The most useful curriculums were found Chronic disease management, Infant & toddler health management, and Case management of tailor made visiting home health care. However the most unuseful curriculums were Nutritional management according to subject's health problem, Health promotion for poor family, and Understanding of visiting service in community health center. Conclusion: With these results, it was identified that the most needed contents of tailor made visiting home health care education program. So these results will be used to develop the more effective education program to activate tailor made visiting home health care service in community health center.

The Intelligent Home provides convenient and comfortable living environment by performing automatic control, heating and air-conditioning, ventilation, home appliances control, home robot control, energy management, visitor management security management, internet, heath state monitoring, etc. through wired/ wireless network and device in the household. Along with the presentation of the features of economical broadband power line communication in the network configuration for new and old houses, its improvement method is proposed.
