The unstable characteristic values of communication signals along with the varying SNR (Signal Noise Ratio) environment make it difficult to identify the modulations of signals. Most of relevant literature revolves around signal recognition under stable SNR, and not applicable for signal recognition at varying SNR. To solve the problem, this research developed a novel communication signal recognition algorithm based on Holder coefficient and cloud theory. In this algorithm, the two-dimensional (2D) Holder coefficient characteristics of communication signals were firstly calculated, and then according to the distribution characteristics of Holder coefficient under varying SNR environment, the digital characteristics of cloud model such as expectation, entropy, and hyper entropy are calculated to constitute the three-dimensional (3D) digital cloud characteristics of Holder coefficient value, which aims to improve the recognition rate of the communication signals. Compared with traditional algorithms, the developed algorithm can describe the signals' features more accurately under varying SNR environment. The results from the numerical simulation show that the developed 3D feature extraction algorithm based on Holder coefficient cloud features performs better anti-noise ability, and the classifier based on interval gray relation theory can achieve a recognition rate up to 84.0%, even when the SNR varies from -17dB to -12dB.

The traditional feature extraction algorithms for recognition of communication signals can hardly realize the balance between computational complexity and signals' interclass gathered degrees. They can hardly achieve high recognition rate at low SNR conditions. To solve this problem, a novel feature extraction algorithm based on Holder coefficient was proposed, which has the advantages of low computational complexity and good interclass gathered degree even at low SNR conditions. In this research, the selection methods of parameters and distribution properties of the extracted features regarding Holder coefficient theory were firstly explored, and then interval gray relation algorithm with improved adaptive weight was adopted to verify the effectiveness of the extracted features. Compared with traditional algorithms, the proposed algorithm can more accurately recognize signals at low SNR conditions. Simulation results show that Holder coefficient based features are stable and have good interclass gathered degree, and interval gray relation classifier with adaptive weight can achieve the recognition rate up to 87% even at the SNR of -5dB.
Springback is an essential task to be solved in order to make high-precision products in sheet metal forming. In this study, materials with four different elastic regions were used. For the forming analysis, the change of springback caused by the frictional force generated in the flange part during hat shape forming was considered by using the AutoForm analysis program. Factors affecting frictional force were blank holder force, friction coefficient, bead R and bead height. As a result of the forming analysis, the springback increases as the material with a larger elastic region increases. In addition, as the frictional force of the flange part increased, the tensile force in the forming direction increased and the springback decreased. In particular, the blank holder force and friction coefficient had a great effect on springback in mild materials (DC04, Al6016), and the bead effectively affects all materials. Through this study, it was considered that the springback decreased as the material with a smaller elastic region and the tensile force in the forming direction increased.

Middle size of membrane retractable roof is under 25m span which consists of various moving systems. Sliding carriage is the system that leads the membrane to parking place, transferring the load from the membrane to structural cable. When membrane moves roof, thus, structural behavior of sliding carriage, which may contain various shapes with friction coefficients, should be investigated by vertical load as well as horizontal load. Nummerical simulation of sliding carriage prototypes, in this research, were performed by incrementation of vertical load and horizontal load as well. Consequently, this paper evaluated proper shapes of inner holder of Sliding carriage and evaluated the effective contact area of inner hold.
The analysis was carried out using the press molding analysis program by applying six parameters such as material type change, material thickness, friction coefficient, rp, rd and blank holder pressure. As a result of CAE analysis of the soft material DC04 and the relatively hard material HX300LAD, the thickness of the punch R part of the soft material was significantly reduced. The flange portion is greatly increased in thickness in the hard material by the compression action. As a result of considering the deformation amount of 0.6mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm according to the material thickness, the influence of the thickness is considered to be very small. In case of the material thickness of 0.6mm, the rate of change increases due to the deep drawing depth relative to the material thickness. The sizes of the punches R and die R have the greatest influence on the change in thickness of the material in drawing molding, the smaller the punch R, the thinner the edges of the product, The larger the R of the die, the greater the material thickness of the flange portion. As the coefficient of friction and the blank holder pressure increase, the frictional force of the flange portion increases, which increases the radial force in the drawing process and increases the thickness change of the flange portion.
Prupose : LiF TLD has a problem to be used in vivo dosimetry because of the toxic property of LiF. The aim of this study is to develop new dosimeter with LiF TLD to be used in vivo dosimetry. Materials and methods : We designed and manufactured the teflon box(here after TLD holder) to put TLD in. The external size of TLD holder is $4\times4\times1\;mm^3$ To estimate the effect of TLD holder on TLD response for radiation, the linearity of TLD response to nominal dose were measured for TLD in TLD holder. Measurement were peformed in the 10 MV x-ray beam with LiF TLD using a solid water phantom at SSD of 100 cm. Percent Depth Dose (PDD) and Tissue-Maximum Ratio (TMR) with varying phantom thickness on TLD were measured to find the effect of TLD holder on the dose coefficient used for dose calculation in radiation therapy. Results : The linearity of response of TLD in TLD holder to the nominal dose was improved than TLD only used as dosimeter And in various measurement conditions, it makes a marginnal difference between TLD in TLD holder and TLD only in their responses. Conclusion : It was proven that the TLD in TLD holder as a new dosimetry could be used in vivo dosimetry.

Surface texturing of micro-dimples has been used in many manufacturing industries to reduce friction between two sliding contacted surfaces. Surface texturing decreases the frictional force owing to minimizing of the sliding contact area. In this paper, micro-dimples have been fabricated on an Al6061-T6 surface using a two-frequency elliptical vibration texturing (TFEVT) method. A high-frequency of 18 kHz and low-frequency of 250 Hz were applied to an elliptically-vibrated tool holder. The Stribeck curve was plotted to analyze the friction coefficient trends. Furthermore, the representative wetting index, such as the water contact angle (WCA), was measured by considering the friction coefficient. WCA is associated with micro-dimple density and associated parameters. Consequently, the dimpled surfaces with a low friction coefficient exhibited a relatively high WCA in the feed direction. According to the Stribeck curve, the dimpled surfaces demonstrate superior friction performance for mixed-film lubrication compared to the non-textured surface.

This experimental study is to investigate the flow characteristics of the multi-hole nozzle used in the fuel injection system of a heavy-duty diesel engine. A multi-hole diesel nozzle with a 2-spring nozzle holder was used in this study and without changing the total orifice exit area, its hole number varied from 3($d_n$=0.42mm) to 8($d_n$=0.25mm). The injection pressure and needle lift were measured and Bosch type injection rates measurement system was used. The discharge flowrates of each orifice in the multi-hole nozzle changed by the flow conditions inside the nozzle sac hole. In case that pump speed and injection quantity were low, the orifice located in the vertex of nozzle tip had a great deal of injection quantity compared with that of others. As the increment of multi-hole number, the injection duration and the mean injection pressure decrease. The mean and peak injection rates, however, increase. Actually, the mean flow coefficient(${C_d}_{(mean)}$) increases, too. The flow coefficient of the multi 8 hole was evaluated as Cd(mean)=0.74 and that is the maximum value among the examined conditions.
The use of barley seeder attached to rotary tiller in the rural area has a significant meaning not only for the solution of labor peak season, but also for the increase of land utilization efficiency. The facts that presently being used barley seeders are all based on the mechanical principles of the reverse rotation, center drive and are all using forward rotating tine, which is used to be easily and heavily worn out when it rotates reversely, raise problem of recommending them to rural area in Korea. Therefore, the main objective of the study was to develop new type of rotary tine attachable to barley seeders. To attain the objective the following approaches were applied. (1) The kinematic analysis of reverse rotating barley seeders. (2) The studies on the soil bin and artificial soil. (3) The comparative experiment on the power requirement of prototype tine. The results obtained from the studies are summarized as follow: 1. The kinematic analysis of barley seeder attached to rotary tiller: The following results were obtained from the kinematic analysis for deriving general formulae of the motion and velocity characterizing the rotary tine of barley seeders presently being used by farmers. a) The position vector (P) of edge point (P) in the rotary tine of reverse rotating, center drive was obtained by the following formula. $$P=(vt+Rcos wt)i+Rsin wt j+ \{ Rcos \theta r sin \alpha cos (wt- \beta +\theta r) +Rsin \theta r sin \alpha sin (wt-\beta + \theta r) \} lk $$ b) The velocity of edge point $(P^')$ of reverse rotating, center drive rotary tine was obtained by the following formula. $$(P^')=(V-wR sin wt)i+(w\cdot Rcoswt)j + \{ -w\cdot Rcos \theta r\cdot sin \alpha \cdot sin (wt-\beta +\theta r) + w\cdot Rsin \theta r\cdot sin \alpha \cdot cos (wt- \beta + \theta r \} k $$ c) In order to reduce the power requirement of rotary tine, the angle between holder and edge point was desired to be reduced. d) In order to reduce the power requirement, the edge point of rotary tine should be moved from the angle at the begining of cutting to center line of machine, and the additional cutting width should be also reduced. 2. The studies on the soil bin and artificial soil: In order to measure the power requirement of various cutting tines under the same physical condition of soil, the indoor experiments Viere conducted by filling soil bin with artificially made soil similar to the common paddy soil and the results were as follows: a) When the rolling frequencies$(x)$ of the artificial soil were increased, the densIty$(Y)$ was also increased as follows: $$y=1.073200 +0.070780x - 0.002263x^2 (g/cm^3)$$ b) The absolute hardness $(Y)$ of soil had following relationship with the rolling frequencies$(x)$ and were increased as the rolling frequencies were increased. $$Y=37.74 - \frac {0.64 + 0.17x-0. 0054x^2} {(3.36-0.17x + 0.0054x^2)^3} (kg/cm^3)$$ c) The density of soil had significant effect on the cohesion and angle of internal friction of soil. For instance, the soil with density of 1.6 to 1.75 had equivalent density of sandy loam soil with 29.5% of natural soil moisture content. d) The coefficient of kinetiic friction of iron plate on artificial soil was 0.31 to 0.41 and was comparable with that of the natural soil. e) When the pulling speed of soil bin was the 2nd forward speed of power tiller, the rpm of driving shaft of rotary was similar to that of power tiller, soil bin apparatus is indicating the good indoor tester. 3. The comparative experiment on the power requirement of prototype tine of reverse rotating rotary: According to the preliminary test of rotary tine developed with various degrees of angle between holder and edge pcint due to the kinematic analysis, comparative test between prototype rotary tine with $30 ^\circ $ and $10 ^\circ$ of it and presently being used rotary tine was carried out 2nd the results were as follows: a) The total cutting torque was low when the angle between holder and edge point was reduced. b) $\theta r$ (angle between holder and edge point) of rotary tine seemed to be one: of the factors maximizing the increase of torque. c) As the angle between holder and edge point ($\theta r$) of rotary tine was $30 ^\circ $ rather than $45 ^\circ $, the angle of rotation during cutting soil was reduced and the total cutting torque was accordingly reduced about 10%, and the reduction efficiency of total cutting torque was low when the angle between holder and edge point ($\theta r$) of rotary tine was $10 ^\circ $, which indicates that the proper angle between holder and edge point of rotary tine should be larger than $10 ^\circ $ and smaller than $30 ^\circ $ . From above results, it could be concluded that the use of the prototype rotary tine which reduced the angle between holder and edge point to $30 ^\circ $, insted of $45 ^\circ $, is disirable not only decreasing the power requirements, but also increasing the durabie hour of it. Also forward researches are needed, WIlich determine the optimum tilted angle of rotary brocket, and rearrangement of the rotary tine on the rotary boss.
We have examined the issues on the measurement of bifacial photovoltaic(PV) devices that should be considered in order to ensure a measurement accuracy beyond a certain level and the comparability between the bifacial PV devices. Based on the results of various experiments and previous studies, solutions for these measurement issues are suggested. The most significant technical issues in the performance measurement of the bifacial PV devices are 1) elimination of the effect due to the light reflection on the sample holder surface and 2) the measurement of the expected power generation gain in outdoor operation. The effect due to the light reflection on the sample holder surface can be eliminated by using an anti-reflective sample holder. In case of a reflective sample holder, if the bifacial device have a linear characteristic with respect to the irradiance of incident light, it has been confirmed (through some previous studies and additional experiment) that exact measurement results can be obtained by the correction of the measurement data. In addition, it was also confirmed that the expected power generation gain in the outdoor operation can be obtained by three different methods along with the basic concepts of the bifaciality coefficient, the albedo, and the effective front irradiance.
