The purpose of this paper is to explain and reinterprets Apollonius' Symptoms on conic sections based on the current secondary curriculum of mathematics, present the historical background of Apollonius' Symptoms to teachers and students and introduce visualization proof of Apollonius' symptoms on a parabola, a hyperbola and an ellipse by a new method using dynamic geometry software(GSP) respectively.

Although a table of descent is a mandatory primary source for studying medical persons, but most of those who practiced medicine were not but of step families. Because members of step families are not usually recorded accurately, preceeding studies did not put much emphasis on them. But as more researchers study biography and the number of studies done on historical figures are increasing tremendously, its value as a source has increased as well. In order to research a person, obtaining background information is a priority, which includes to what family they belong to, to what specific branch of the family they belong to, etc. Whether or not the person has ever worked with a public institution is important as well.

Wet plating has been initiated and developed as a major surface finishing technology as of the long customized and highly productive process until now. As the external compression by virtue of the environmental preservation becomes stricter, there has been new move to adapt dry plating line instead of conventional wet plating one in domestic surface finishing industry. Dry plating, so-called, plasma surface technology has been developed in semiconducting industry and becomes a key technology to be useful as an alternative to wet plating in surface finishing industry. The historical progress of domestic surface finishing industry was outlined with the background on the adaptation of three dry plating processes-plasma spraying, plasma nitriding and ion plating. The present status of domestic industrial activity was covered on major alternative to wet plating.

The idiom is the fixed phrase with the traits of stable patterns, habitual uses, historic and ethnical characteristics. The numeral is categorized under the substantial, it represents the quantity or sequence, it can be divided into cardinal numerals and ordinal numerals. Although a considerable of the Korean numeral idioms generated from Chinese numeral idioms, however, due to various factors such as different historical background, customs, and language structure, in the long term, Korean and Chinese numeral idioms formed different characteristics in many aspects. This paper mostly examines the outside form of numeral idioms in Korean and Chinese. The aim is to summarize the different system of Korean and Chinese by analyzing the rules of the numeral idioms in Korean and Chinese.

In order to obtain rigorous systems analysis and design, it is essential to understand accurate information flow in the system. For the effective capturing of accurate information flow in a system, it Is vital to control information flow in the system. Also, information and information flow have to be simplified as a deliverable form. This paper presents partitioning and conveyance technique based on the application of situation theory. First, historical background of situation theory will be given. Then necessary conditions and definitions will be provided. Lastly, this paper provides specific technique with example. This introduced technique will be a powerful tool for sharing timely and relevant information in a complex manufacturing system that can be used continuously and efficiently throughout systems operation.

Zingiber officinale is a spice which is having a strong historical medicinal background and used by different systems of medicine for various ailments. It is also used to maintain the characteristic sharpness and tangy essence of food and beverages and used in carbonated drinks, as a conserve in sugar syrup. Ginger considered as an incredible drug for inflammation, gastrointestinal problems, pain and sexual problems since centuries. There are many studies carried out in recent years, which proves that the active constituents of ginger shows a variety of pharmacological effects like antiemetic, hepatoprotective, anti hyperlipidemic and antibacterial. The most momentous among all the nutraceutical aspects of ginger are its positive control on gastrointestinal tract including digestive stimulant action, anticancer effect and anti-inflammatory effect.

The Xinfa Suanshu, which was an important astronomical book in East-Asia, was published in 1644. This book was including the star catalogue. We researched the data of 1365 stars recorded in this star catalogue (the equinox of the catalogue is identified to be 1628 year). According to our analysis, it can be presumed that the star catalogue's data were observed from at least two places or more. Based on historical background, we assumed that the Xinfa Sunashu's catalogue likely referenced knowledge from the Europe or Arab/Islamic culture. The researchers who have studied the Xinfa Sunashu's star catalogue have all focused on Brahe's star catalogue. But they did not provide clear evidence. Therefore, we are compared with the star data recorded in Tablae Rudolphinae. In conclusion, we confirmed that 881 stars among the 1365 stars were perfectly edited from position data of stars recorded in Brahe's star catalogue (1602).

Ami-dong Crematorium in Busan was established as one of the public facilities in 1929(the period of Japanese Occupation). It is the originator of Busan Yeongnak-Park(永樂公園), the funeral facilities of Busan municipality. The crematorium of Busan region was accepted at an earlier stage inside Japanese Concession in accordance with the opening a port. As Ami-dong Crematorium was constructed as a public facilities, the precedent has been maintained so far, providing a background equipped with the leading public corporation facilities in Busan area. This study was based on the expansion construction document founded by National Archives in Korea. Above all things, this research revealed the establishment and change of Busan Ami-dong Crematorium as the historical point for the formation process of recent public funeral facilities.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the "朝鮮古建築物", the list of architectural heritages in Korea during the early Japanese colonial period. The list included architectural heritage of the region of North Korea in the colonial era. A process of listing was showing the meaning of an architectural heritage for the Japanese General Government through the criteria of selecting buildings registered on the list. This study revealed the process of a survey for making list and explored the criteria of the list. The result of this effort will contribute to determining the historical background of North Korea's architectural heritage in the early days.

Mazu is considered the famous Chinese Sea Goddess, venerated by seafarers. Mazu belief was conducted in Meizhou County, Fujian Province. Soon worship of Mazu spread quickly to other parts of over the world, especially in Southeast Asia. In China, the Mazu belief was strongly influenced by marine culture, but its marine factors faded when Chinese immigrants had lived together with the Kinh people in Pho Hien (in the north of Vietnam) for more than four centuries. Applying the Acculturation theory, this paper aims to analyze the migration background of the Chinese and their integration into Kinh culture in Pho Hien. It can be said that historical, economic and social context, as well as native government policies have highly affected the manner and the rate of this belief's acculturation. Furthermore, the article explains the reasons for the fading of marine cultural traits and their replacement by the Kinh people's cultural factors in this belief.
