  • We introduce the Joint spectrum on the complex Banach space and on the complex Hilbert space and the tensor product spectrums on the tensor product spaces. And we will show ${\sigma}[P(T_1,T_2,{\ldots},T_n)]={\sigma}(T_1{\otimes}T_2{\otimes}{\cdots}{\otimes}T_n)$ on $X_1{\overline{\otimes}}X_2{\overline{\otimes}}{\cdots}{\overline{\otimes}}X_n$ for a polynomial P.

  • The approximate solvability of a generalized system for non-linear variational inequality in Hilbert spaces was studied, based on the convergence of projection methods. But little research was done in Banach space. The primary reason was that projection mapping lacked preferably property in Banach space. In this paper, we introduced the generalized projection methods. By using these methods, the results presented in this paper extended the main results of S. S. Chang [3] from Hilbert spaces to Banach space.

  • Given operators X and Y acting on a separable complex Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$, an interpolating operator is a bounded operator A such that AX=Y. In this article, we show the following: Let $Alg\mathcal{L}$ be a tridiagonal algebra on a separable complex Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$ and let $X=(x_{ij})\;and\;Y=(y_{ij})$ be operators in $\mathcal{H}$. Then the following are equivalent: (1) There exists a normal operator $A=(a_{ij})\;in\;Alg\mathcal{L}$ such that AX=Y. (2) There is a bounded sequence $\{\alpha_n\}\;in\;\mathbb{C}$ such that $y_{ij}=\alpha_jx_{ij}\;for\;i,\;j\;{\in}\;\mathbb{N}$. Given vectors x and y in a separable complex Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$, an interpolating operator is a bounded operator A such that Ax=y. We show the following: Let $Alg\mathcal{L}$ be a tridiagonal algebra on a separable complex Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$ and let $x=(x_i)\;and\;y=(y_i)$ be vectors in $\mathcal{H}$. Then the following are equivalent: (1) There exists a normal operator $A=(a_{ij})\;in\;Alg\mathcal{L}$ such that Ax=y. (2) There is a bounded sequence $\{\alpha_n\}$ in $\mathbb{C}$ such that $y_i=\alpha_ix_i\;for\;i{\in}\mathbb{N}$.

  • Let A be a positive bounded linear operator acting on a complex Hilbert space (𝓗, ⟨·,·⟩). Let ωA(T) and ║T║A denote the A-numerical radius and the A-operator seminorm of an operator T acting on the semi-Hilbert space (𝓗, ⟨·,·⟩A), respectively, where ⟨x, y⟩A := ⟨Ax, y⟩ for all x, y ∈ 𝓗. In this paper, we show with different techniques from that used by Kittaneh in [24] that $$\frac{1}{4}{\parallel}T^{{\sharp}_A}T+TT^{{\sharp}_A}{\parallel}_A{\leq}{\omega}^2_A(T){\leq}\frac{1}{2}{\parallel}T^{{\sharp}_A}T+TT^{{\sharp}_A}{\parallel}_A.$$ Here T#A denotes a distinguished A-adjoint operator of T. Moreover, a considerable improvement of the above inequalities is proved. This allows us to compute the 𝔸-numerical radius of the operator matrix $\(\array{I&T\\0&-I}\)$ where 𝔸 = diag(A, A). In addition, several A-numerical radius inequalities for semi-Hilbert space operators are also established.

  • Given vectors x and y in a separable Hilbert space $\cal H$, an interpolating operator is a bounded operator A such that Ax = y. In this article, we investigate Hilbert-Schmidt interpolation problems for vectors in a tridiagonal algebra. We show the following: Let $\cal L$ be a subspace lattice acting on a separable complex Hilbert space $\cal H$ and let x = ($x_{i}$) and y = ($y_{i}$) be vectors in $\cal H$. Then the following are equivalent; (1) There exists a Hilbert-Schmidt operator A = ($a_{ij}$ in Alg$\cal L$ such that Ax = y. (2) There is a bounded sequence {$a_n$ in C such that ${\sum^{\infty}}_{n=1}\mid\alpha_n\mid^2 < \infty$ and $y_1 = \alpha_1x_1 + \alpha_2x_2$ ... $y_{2k} =\alpha_{4k-1}x_{2k}$ $y_{2k=1} = \alpha_{4kx2k} + \alpha_{4k+1}x_{2k+1} + \alpha_{4k+1}x_{2k+2}$ for K $\epsilon$ N.

  • Given operators X and Y acting on a separable complex Hilbert space H, an interpolating operator is a bounded operator A such that AX=Y. In this article, we investigate Hilbert-Schmidt interpolation problems for operators in a tridiagonal algebra and we get the following: Let ${\pounds}$ be a subspace lattice acting on a separable complex Hilbert space H and let X=$(x_{ij})$ and Y=$(y_{ij})$ be operators acting on H. Then the following are equivalent: (1) There exists a Hilbert-Schmidt operator $A=(a_{ij})$ in Alg${\pounds}$ such that AX=Y. (2) There is a bounded sequence $\{{\alpha}_n\}$ in $\mathbb{C}$ such that ${\sum}_{n=1}^{\infty}|{\alpha}_n|^2<{\infty}$ and $$y1_i={\alpha}_1x_{1i}+{\alpha}_2x_{2i}$$ $$y2k_i={\alpha}_{4k-1}x_2k_i$$ $$y{2k+1}_i={\alpha}_{4k}x_{2k}_i+{\alpha}_{4k+1}x_{2k+1}_i+{\alpha}_{4k+2}x_{2k+2}_i\;for\;all\;i,\;k\;\mathbb{N}$$.

  • Many scientifc applications include manipulation of data points tying in a space. We describe a method, based on sector labeling to generate a space-filling curve for partitioning such given data points. Our method is straightforward and flexible, equipping a one-one correspondence between point-values on the curve and data points in space in more efficient than designated methods found in the literature. It is widely believed that the Hilbert curve achieves the desired properties on linear mappings due to the locality between data points. Therefore we focus on the Hilbert curve since, later on, we identify it as the most suitable for our application. We demonstrate on using our method for the data particles of an n-body simulation that based on Barnes-Hut algorithm.

  • We show the existence of at least four solutions for the perturbed parabolic equation with Dirichlet boundary condition and periodic condition when the nonlinear part cross two eigenvalues of the eigenvalue problem of the Laplace operator with boundary condition. We obtain this result by using the Leray-Schauder degree theory, the finite dimensional reduction method and the geometry of the mapping. The main point is that we restrict ourselves to the real Hilbert space instead of the complex space.

  • Let S($z_1$, $z_2$) be a power series with operator coefficients such that multiplication by 5($z_1$, $z_2$) is a contractive transformation in the Hilbert space $\mathbf{H}_2$($\mathbb{D}^2$, C). In this paper we show that there exists a Hilbert space D($\mathbb{D}$,$\bar{S}$) which is the state space of extended canonical linear system with a transfer fucntion $\bar{S}$(z).

  • Upper bounds of the perturbed Co-semigroups of the infinite dimensional systems are investigated by using the algebraic Riccati equation(ARE). In the case that the solution P of the ARE is strictly positive, the perturbed semigroups are uniformly bounded. A sufficient condition for the solution P to be strictly positive is provided. The uniform boundedness plays an important role in extending approximately weak stability to weak stability on th whole space. Exponential Stability of the perturbed semigroups is studied by using the Young's inequlity. Some further discussions on the uniform boundedness of the perturbed semigroups are given.
