  • The culture of Korea shows political and religious discrimination by changed the era, but in the culture the inherent spirit of Koreans has been more specific at various angles to. But in the last several decades looking at the domestic furniture design field, the introduction of Western technology with high-tech, the mechanical plastics of modern Western European furniture, and imitations have been flooded. Owing to them our spirit were soon altered and made to face the current leads to confusion. Fortunately, in the latest national and international design fair the domestic furniture companies are breaking the ambiguous identity of the design in the meantime they keep studying and developing of our spirit and the demands of the times. Moreover, a new awareness and heightened interest on Korean traditional and stylish furniture are more elevated. At this moment, a study on the Connectivity of Aesthetic Consciousness Appearing in Korean Traditional Architecture and Furniture is required to overcome the today's confusion and to establish identity and the direction of the domestic furniture industry. Thus, this paper purposes to present the new direction for domestic furniture industry by researching and analyzing on the Korean traditional architecture and traditional furniture with the Korean spirit and a sense of beauty.

  • Since the world has changed to a society of 21st century high-tech industries, the modern people have become reluctant to work in a difficult and dirty environment. Therefore, unmanned technologies through robots are being demanded. Now days, effects such as voice, control, obstacle avoidance are being suggested, and especially, voice recognition technique that enables convenient interaction between human and machines is very important. In this study, in order to conduct study on the stable motion control of the robot system that has mobile-manipulator structure and is voice command-based, kinetic interpretation and dynamic modeling of two-armed manipulator and three-wheel mobile robot were conducted. In addition, autonomous driving of three-wheel mobile robot and motion control system of two-armed manipulator were designed, and combined robot control through voice command was conducted. For the performance experiment method, driving control and simulation mock experiment of manipulator that has two-armed structure was conducted, and for experiment of combined robot motion control which is voice command-based, through driving control, motion control of two-armed manipulator, and combined control based on voice command, experiment on stable motion control of voice command-based robot system that has mobile-manipulator structure was verified.

  • Agricultural machines can be viewed as a very important factor to reduce the workforce and reduce production costs as well as keep up with now days trend caused Labor shortages and the workforce reduction by aging in rural. The latest agricultural machinery has developed into a major agricultural industry to apply and integrate the telecommunication, next-generation batteries, semiconductors, wireless communications, content and high-tech display industry technology with a wide range of applications. In this study, to apply the information and communication technologies on agricultural planters relied on a mechanical method, we designed a quick and sophisticated ICT convergence planters that enable to monitor.

  • Recently, investment to basic science has been increased and infrastructure of science and technology has been expanded in developed countries like U.S.A, UK and Japan to foster high-tech industries. Science and research parks are built and under operation to acquire national competitive power and to activate regional economy over the world today. It is argued that more synergy effects are generated when science and research parks are operated in cooperation with related organizations and facilities such as firms, universities, research institutes and governments than it is operated by one organization. The aim of this paper is to develop a governance model of science and research parks. One comprehensive model and three individual governance models were developed according to the structure and relations of industry-science/research park-supporting organization interactions. When governance model of science and research parks is established and properly managed, national development capacity would be greatly enhanced through the acceleration of technology transfer, industrial production rise and enhancement of efficiency in the area of R&D and supporting system etc. One of the key factors in building governance system for science and research parks is establishing a control tower that supervises governance system comprehensively and systematically.

  • As time goes by, ultrasonic wave is getting important and new technology, which is adapted to ultrasonic wave is used to industry such as home appliance, automobile, and high-tech industry. Especially, ultrasonic wave is used an alarm device whether there are things at the rear of I. It's do important device in automobile system because it can prevent car-accident from inattention of the driver. Actually, there has already been lots of the alarm device. But it's expensive and so difficult to set the device. So almost driver don't set device at their automobile. We focus on these problems. We want to make cheap md easy setting device. Ultrasonic wave sensor emits Ultrasonic-signal at outgoing part and receive part accept the signal. Sensor analyzes the signal and Distance is displayed on LCD of device. The device makes alarm if distance is near from something of rear. The device makes break-system operate to prevent drivers from crashing if distance is so near. This device is portable. So normal deriver can set it easily.

  • This study analyzes the historical events that shaped South Korean Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and its value to businesspeople. Chapter 2 reviews South Korean FDI literature, highlighting critical studies and a research gap. Chapter 3 strategically separates findings into four major historical events. Every event-from economic liberalization to technical advances-is studied. Chapter 5 offers valuable insights and guidance on how these events affect practitioners. The following chapters aim to promote FDI dynamics understanding and enable businesses and governments to make strategic decisions in South Korea's dynamic economy. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) history in Korea is significant for practitioners. These events have impacted the nation's economy from the 1960s economic liberalization to modern technology advances. Practitioners must understand these events' far-reaching implications to make informed decisions. The opening up of the economy, chaebols' involvement, financial crises, and high-tech industry emphasis provide excellent lessons. This understanding helps practitioners navigate the global economy, adapt, and be resilient for sustainable economic growth in the Republic of Korea. Thus, practitioners should actively advocate for FDI and economic growth policies with government agencies. Collaboration ensures that the government's strategic vision matches industry practitioners' requirements and goals. By working together, practitioners help create policies that make Korea more appealing to international investors.

The Utility of Function Expressed in 1990s Fashion (1990년대 패션에 나타난 기능의 효율성)

  • The purpose of this study is to consider 1990s fashion design involving the utility of function which is the essence of modernism. First, documentary studies about the aesthetic value of the utility of function throughout the 20th century sociocultural contexts has been done. Second, content analysis of articles in American "Vogue" from 1990 to 2002 has been accomplished to hold the actual proof for the utility of function in postmodernism fashion. As a result, the utility of function has been defined the utility of body activity, the utility of practical use, and the utility of mechanical product. According to contents analysis, new aspects has been introduced in use of high-tech fabrics, ornaments, and mass customization in 1990s. In conclusion, the utility of function in fashion has been improved in accordance with the change of sociocultural contexts and women's wants.

Accordingly, the introduction of Intelligent Transportation Systems Outlook and Direction of the railway sector and to provide a comprehensive introduction of Intelligent Transportation Systems rail sector has raised the need. In this paper, the introduction of Intelligent Transportation Systems rail sector strategy is presented as follows. First, the rail users a convenient rail-centric information system used. Second, the reliability and value-added operating system built for the creation of high-tech rail. Third, crime and accidents are implemented in a safe railway. The results of this paper, the railway sector through the national Intelligent Transportation Systems to develop and introduce strategies to provide operational direction is expected to be present.

  • The use of metals such as aluminum and titanium and the related industrial facilities have been continuously increasing to meet the requirements of the improvement of high-tech products due to the development of industry, and explosion of metal dust. Semiconductor process Metal dust is essential, but research is insufficient. The purpose of this study is to identify risk by analyzing the quantitative risk such as maximum explosion pressure and minimum explosion concentration applied international test standard in order to select the semiconductor process facilities handling dust and to predict possible risk of accidents.

Students' Perspective (Stream Wise) of Parameters Affecting the Undergraduate Engineering Education: A Live Study

  • Purpose - The study aims to examine the students' perspective (stream wise) of parameters affecting the undergraduate engineering education system present in a private technical institution in NCR, Haryana, India. Research design, data, and methodology - It is a descriptive type of research in nature. Questionnaire Based Survey has been used to collect the data. The sample size for the study is 500 comprising of the students respondents. The sample has been taken randomly and the questionnaire was filled by the students (pursuing B. Tech) chosen on the random basis from a private technical educational institution in NCR, Haryana, India. For data analysis and conclusion of the results of the survey, statistical tool like F test was performed with the help of high quality software; SPSS. Conclusion - Analysis of variance revealed statistically no difference between the mean number of the groups (stream wise) for the parameters "Selection", "Academic Excellence", "Infrastructure", "Personality Development and Industry Exposure" and "Management and Administration". While Analysis of variance revealed statistically difference between the mean numbers of the groups for the parameter "Placements".
