Conventional rule-based approaches have some problems caused by rule maintenance. Also they have some limitations to get the high quality translation results. This paper presents new English-Korean transfer approach that uses patterns and examples on limited domains. The use of patterns and examples can resolve the ambiguities and give high quality of MT Proposed approach can be applied in various NLP related area. Experimental results with a test corpus are discussed.

This paper proposes a character segmentation method for Korean letter address image. The poor quality of image binarization results in broken character strokes. To overcome this problem, two steps of processing ate introduced. The first one is to merge broken characters to generate character candidates, and the other one is to reduce the complexity of segmentation graph path. These two steps do not use recognition information to keep in high-speed.

Significant changes in the performance requirements of finished lubricants is having a pronounced impact on the quality and manufacturing approach for base stocks, the building block for these products. Separation processing is no longer capable of producing high yields of premium base stocks and is rapidly being replaced with hydroprocessing. Isoparaffins are the most desirable component because of their high Viscosity Index, low pour point and excellent stability. This paper will discuss industry trends and the drive towards higher quality base stocks. Manufacturing options are discussed and examples presented to demonstrate the performance of these premium base stocks.

The objective of this study is to develop the non crack ready mixed concrete and the high quality concrete under various addition ratios of expansive additives. According to the experiment results, when expansive additive are mixed in concrete mixture by about 6% per cement contents, in W/B of 45~55%, it is found that the strength increase and the shrinkage compensation can be achieved by about 2~3 times. And it is considered to produce high quality concrete and non crack ready mixed concrete.

The requirements for the high quality service is increased according to the changing of the internal environment. But, the computer system can not satisfy the requirement because of the limitation of the computer's own problem. This paper describes the network storage accelerator which can perform the high quality streaming service. We also show the implementation result of the streaming accelerator.

In recently, the interest of high strength and flowing concrete, to improve quality and workability of concrete, is gradually increased. In order to make high strength and flowing concrete, many processes may be considered, the water reducing technique using superplasticizer seems to be the most practical, but domestic superplsticizers are not widely used because of economical efficiency, low quality and lack of understanding in construction field. The purpose of this report is to analyze the consumption structure and behavior of domastic acmixtures containing superplasticizer, and to examine about, dessemination of superplasticizer.

We propose a novel high dynamic range (HDR) video synthesis algorithm using alternatively exposed low dynamic range (LDR) videos. We first develop a superpixel-based illumination invariant correspondence estimation algorithm. Then, we propose a reliability weight to further improve the quality of the synthesized HDR frame. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm provides high-quality HDR frames compared to conventional algorithms.
