Web-based HLS(Http Live Streaming) Multi-view System for Real-time High Quality Video (실시간 고화질 영상에 대한 웹기반의 HLS 멀티뷰 시스템 설계)

  • In recent years, a high-quality video input device has been generalized, and a central control system capable of simultaneously viewing video input in real time has become an essential element. At this time, there are attempts to access through the web without installing the program separately. However, if multiple high-quality videos are simultaneously viewed through the web browser, the web browser is terminated by force. In this paper, we propose a web-based HLS(HTTP Live Streaming) multi-view system for real-time high-definition video. We have reconstructed the multi-view screen as a screen by transcoding and implemented a system that can monitor multiple video inputs through a web browser on the fly without using security vulnerability ActiveX.

Construction of Resource Recovery System for Organic Wastes (유기성 폐기물의 자원화 체제구축에 관한 연구)

  • In this study a system for the treatment or recyling of organic wastes from both urban and rural area was recommended. It was developed based on the resource recovery system regarding human being by four tectnologies; forage, methane production, high-grade composting and complete decomposition. High quality compost can be produced by combining several kind of wastes produced from urban and agricultural areas. High quality compost must possess not only general characteristics of ordinary compost, but also a superior ability to improve the soil properties and must contain more nutrients for plant. Cedar chips were recommended as the main bulking agent to adjust moisture contents and air permeability. Charcoal and zeolite can be used not only as the second bulking agent but also as fertilizer for improve the soil amendment. Complete decomposition of organic wastes is defined by organic matter being completely converted to $CO_2$ and water. All the input water was evaporated by the heat produced through the oxidation of organic matter, In the present study, the complete treatments were successfully achieved for Shochu wastewater, swine wastes, thickened excess sewage sludge, wastes produced by Chinese restaurant and anaerobic digested sludge. First of all, recycling center of organic wastes should be established for the protect the environments and effective recovery of organic resources. This may means the way to derive the recovery of human value.

A Study on the Environment-friendly Quality Evaluation of High-rise Residential Architecture in Korea by Environment-friendly Certification (친환경 인증 제도를 통한 국내 초고층 주거건축의 친환경성 평가 연구)

  • As horizontal expansion of a city reaches the uppermost limit, on the ground of perpendicular expansion and efficiency of land use, skyscrapers go on increasing in number. However, skyscrapers which were newly built in Korea have many problems such as consumption of enormous amounts of energy, destruction of natural environment, and traffic jam. And from now on, environment-friendly development of skyscraper is urgently needed. Therefore, in this study, we tried to find the planning elements and estimation indexes to improve the environment-friendly quality of high-rise residential architecture by investigating environment-friendly skyscraper certification in Korea and the other countries. For that reason, we investigated the application ratios of 10 cases in Korea. And the results showed that the application ratios of environment-friendly estimation indexes were lower than 50% and the environment-friendly quality of skyscrapers in Korea was generally low. Therefore, based on these planning elements and estimation indexes, we tried to establish the guideline of improvement direction for environment-friendly development of high-rise residential architecture in Korea.

High Frequency Simulations for the Meander Type Inductors on the MgO and Al2O3 Substrates (산화마그네슘 기판과 산화알루미늄 기판을 이용한 Meander 형태 인덕터의 고주파 시뮬레이션)

  • We have studied on the microwave characteristics for the meander type inductors on the MgO substrates and $Al_2O_3$ substrates by employing 3-D high frequency simulation, respectively. Proper designs of meander type inductors were proposed and confirmed through the high frequency simulations, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13 turns meander type inductors have been choose to analyze the electrical properties for the microwave passive component applications. The Al top electrodes have 282 nm length, 45 nm width, 100 nm thickness and 15 nm gap. The simulations were carried out from 50 MHz to 30 GHz, Frequency dependent inductances and quality factor were calculated by employing the equivalent circuit model of meander type inductors. The self resonances frequency of meander type inductor were shifted from high frequency to low frequency range as the number of the turn of inductors was increased. From the microwave simulations, the inductances and quality factors of meander type inductors were extracted through the scattering parameter.

The Stability and Variability based on Vowels in Voice Quality Analysis (음질 분석에 있어서 모음에 따른 안정성과 변이성)

  • This study explored the vowel effect on acoustic perturbation measures in voice quality analysis. For this study, the perturbation parameters (%jitter, %shimmer) and noise parameter (SNR) were measured with 7 Korean vowels (/a/, /ɛ/, /i/, /o/, /u/, /ɯ/, /ʌ/) using CSpeech with 50 Korean normal young adults (24 males and 26 females). A significant vowel effect was found only in %shimmer and in particular, low-back /a/vowel was significantly different from other vowels in %shimmer. The least perturbation and noise were exhibited on high-back /ɯ/ and /o/ vowel, respectively. Based on tongue height, a significant higher %shimmer was demonstrated on low vowels than high vowels. In addition, back vowels in tongue advancement and rounded vowels in lip rounding showed significantly less perturbation and noise. The least variability of perturbation and noise within individuals was demonstrated on the vowel /i/ in three repeated measures. However, there was no significant difference among 3 token measures in single session among vowels tested except the vowel /o/. Consequently, the vowel /a/ commonly used in acoustic perturbation measures exhibited higher perturbation and noise whereas higher stability and less variability were demonstrated on the high-back vowel /u/. These results suggested that the Korean high-back vowel /u/ can be more appropriate and reliable for perturbation acoustic measures.

Effects of Residual Stress with Welding Condition in the Steel Structure of H-beam (H 빔 구조물의 T-Joint에서 용접조건에 따른 용접잔류응력의 영향)

  • In the welding for the steel structure of H-beam with mild steel and 490N/$\textrm{mm}^2$ high tensile steel, we applied the fillet weld mostly and 6-8mm weld length(AISC-spec.). And a new developed metal-cored-wire is used in automatic welding as well as semi-automatic welding. In this study we have attempted to raise the welding productivity and to stabilize the quality on horizontal positions of fillet welding with the following items: - We improved the weld productivity using metal based cored wire with a high deposition rate in the steel structure of H-beam. - We tested the weldability and evaluated the quality of the weldmetal by horizontal fillet $CO_2$ welding. The process is carried out in combination with a special purpose metal-based FCW with excellent resistance to porosity and high welding speed. - We studied the micro structure of the weldmetal by the various welding conditions. - We studied the effect of welding residual stress by the welding conditions in T-joint. Therefore, it can be assured that more productive and superior quality of the weldmetal can be taken from this study results.

Growth of ZnO Nanorod with High-quality Assisted by an External Electric Field (외부 전계 인가를 통한 고품질 ZnO 나노로드 성장)

  • In this study, the ZnO nanorod is grown on the seed layered glass substrate by applying an external electric field to fabricate the ZnO nanorod with the high quality and to increase the yield of the ZnO nanorod. It is possible to grow the definite and clear hexagonal ZnO nanorod as the cathode of the high voltage is connected to the side of the seed layered glass substrate and the anode is connected to the opposite side because more $Zn^{2+}$ ions are located around the ZnO seed layer and are accumulated easily due to the external electric field. As a result, it is succeeded to fabricate the definite hexagonal ZnO nanorod having better structural characteristics by applying the external electric field during the growth process. Therefore, it is demonstrated that the external electric field is effective to fabricate the high quality ZnO nanorod without changing any composition of the ZnO nanorod.

  • The localization of manufacturing technique development is actualizing for low cost with supplies of display devices. We need more high cutting technique because consumers want flat glasses of various sizes. Recently, most general two methods are normal wheel cutting and laser cutting, but both of them have some faults. First, the wheel cutting has cracks and sharp edges of sections. Second, it is easy for laser cutting to cut curved lines. however, it has thermal damage and low traverse speed. I suggest a new cutting method by high-wave frequency vibration wheel cutting(HFVC), which is good for quality improvement. Vertical cracks and crack depth is observed, after HFVC. When the average of the crack depth is $30{\mu}m$ and the average of the wallner liner depth is $200{\mu}m$, it has the most high quality of the sections in this experiment. As a result, when we consider between the normal wheel cutting method and the HFVC method, the latter has low cracks and good quality.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel MHCOC (Mapped High Capacity Orthogonal Code) SS(Spread Spectrum) technique that reduces high PAPR (Peak power to Average Power Ratio) of HCOC SS system which was proposed to support high data rate transmission, and we compare to the conventional modulation technique such as MQAM SS that can transmit the same number of symbols at the same time. Moreover, we study on adaptation of this system to satisfy QoS (Quality of Service) that services the proper data rate according to the propagation channel quality information. We perform computer simulation to verify the performance of the proposed system and analyze its availability.
