  • Today's manufacturing industry is facing challenges from advanced difficult-to-machine materials (WC-Co alloys, ceramics, and composites), stringent design requirements (high precision, complex shapes, and high surface quality), and machining costs. Advanced materials play an increasingly important role in modem manufacturing industries, especially, in aircraft, automobile, tool, die and mold making industries. The greatly-improved thermal, chemical, and mechanical properties of the material (such as improved strength, heat resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance), while having yielded enormous economic benefits to manufacturing industries through improved product performance and product design, are making traditional machining processes unable to machine them or unable to machine them economically. In this paper, mechanical characteristic evaluation test of fine powder type WC-Co alloy was accomplished to obtain clear data for miniaturized special die parts machining with high reliability and high quality.

  • This study is for confirming and finding which kinds of parameter is on Service Quality and Customer Loyalty of Foodservice Operation. For this, the purpose of the study is investigating the relationship between A Customer Loyalty and the factors which would affect it, relative influence-relation about meditate roles of influence-factors. A study model and several hypotheses were developed regarding the relationships. Moreover, after making a question sheet, based on the collected and analyzed 250 of them. The study model was analyzed with, SPSS 10.0 and AMOS 4.0 program. At first, when the quality of service is high, it directly affects Customer satisfaction. With the result from the study, it is prove that the service quality is very important. On the other hand, the service quality do not directly affect the Customer Loyalty. The second, when the value of service is high, it affects the customer-satisfaction. But, although the value of service is high, it doesn't directly affect the Customer Loyalty. So, it is clear that the value of Service on Foodservice Operations is the variable precedent of customer-satisfaction. The third, when the customer-satisfaction is high, customer loyalty is high. It is necessary to make the strategy about the management of Foodservice for keeping customer-satisfaction steadily. According to this study, the important variables are the value of service, the service quality and customer-satisfaction. With these results, we have to manage the factors for keeping the Customer Loyalty in Foodservice Operations.

Evaluation of Service Quality Factors on the Nailcare Shop (네일 샵의 서비스 품질 요인에 대한 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the service quality evaluation on the skill and expert, the shop facilities and atmosphere, the time and access, and the price and benefit of a nail care shop by age, income, spendings of appearance and a nail care, and a regular nail care. The survey was performed with questionnaires and the subjects were was 240 consumers who used the nail care. The data were analyzed by frequencies, F-test, T-test, Factor Analysis, one way ANOVA. The results of the study were as follows: Service quality evaluation were classified four factors- the price and benefits, the skill and expertness, the facilities and atmosphere, the time and access. There were no statistically significant differences in the price and benefits by age, income, spendings of appearance and a nail care, and a regular nail care, but there were statistically significant differences in the skill and expertness, the facilities and atmosphere, and the time and access. The service quality on the time and access was evaluated as high by the consumer in the 30s, with more income, and with high appearance and nail care spendings. The service quality on the shop facilities and atmosphere was evaluated as high by the consumers with high nail care spending. The consumers with a regular nail care evaluated the service quality on the skill and expertness, the time and access, the shop facilities and atmosphere as high.

Perception of High Functional Underwear According to Innovation Cues: Perception Difference of Reference Price, Preference, Quality and their Relationships (혁신 단서에 따른 고기능성 내의의 지각 -준거 가격, 선호도, 품질 지각 차이 및 변수 간 관계-)

  • This study investigated the difference of reference price, preference and quality perception of high functional underwear according to innovation cues. High functional underwear was selected as a research stimulus due to its technological innovative characteristics. A total of 93 male university students participated as subjects and data were collected by simple random experimental design operationalized with three types of innovation stimulus cues. Two types of internal reference price perception-expected price and fair price, preference, and 9 items of product quality perception-8 functional properties and overall quality of stimulus were measured with a questionnaire. The result supported the difference of reference price and quality perception by product innovation cue. The higher cue level group perceived two types of reference price and the overall quality higher than the lower cue level group. The difference of the expected price and fair price, the influence of functional properties on overall quality, and relations of the variables were discussed in depth.

Forage Quality of Several Grasses Grown ay a High Altitude Pasture (고산지대 초지에서 생산된 화본과목초의 사료가치)

  • Forage quality evaluation with several grasses grown at a high altitude pasture situated at 1,000m above sea level was made to determine what is the feed value of these grasses and whether these grasses have any differences in forage quality compared with the grdsses grown at lowland pastures. In this experiment, Common, Venture, and Palaton reed canarygrass (Phahris arundinucea L.) and Climax timothy (Phleum pratense L.) were used and harvested at two different dates, 5 July and 30 September, 1989. Cmde protein (CP) concentrations in the grasses grown in September were higher than in July. Among the grasses grown, Palaton and Common reed canarygrass were highest in CP concentration in July and September, respectively. Acid detergent fiber (ADF) and neutral detergent fiber (NDF) concentrations in the grasses harvested in July were higher than in September. Palaton reed canruygrass was lowest in ADF and NDF concentrations at the both harvest dates. Relative feed value (RFV) in the grases harvested in July was ranged from 92 to 105 and that in September was from 110 to 117. Palation reed canarygrass had the highest RFV of 105 and 117 in July and September, respectively, therefore, the forage quality of this grass was ranked as Grade 2 based on the AFGC Hay Quality Standards. Overall forage quality of the grasses grown at a high altitude pasture seemed to be higher than the forage quality at lowland pastures. Based on the RFV assigned by the AFGC, forages with RFV 92 to 117 in this experiment could only work well in rations for low producing dairy cows.

Factors Influencing the Health-related Quality of Life by Socioeconomic Level during Early Adolescence (사회경제적 수준별 초기 청소년의 건강 관련 삶의 질에 미치는 영향요인)

  • Purpose: This cross-sectional study was carried out to identify factors influencing the health-related quality of life according to socioeconomic level during early adolescence. Methods: Participants were 617 middle school students in $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ grade. All measures were self-administered. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 program and factors affecting the health-related quality of life were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: According to the level of Family Affluence Scale (FAS), 19.1% of the participants were in the high class, 66.5% in the middle class, and 14.4% in the low class. We have found statistically significant differences among the high, middle, and low classes regarding the health-related quality of life, health perception, resourcefulness, family function, and social capital. The most influential factors of the health-related quality of life were found to be resourcefulness, family function, and social capital in the high and the middle class. Conclusion: The implication of this study is that it is important for the Education Ministry and middle school teachers to help adolescents develop internal coping resources as well as to develop school-curriculums considering social values and norms related to social capital in order to improving their health-related quality of life.

A Study on the High-Emotional Quality in the Design perceived by Chinese Millennials - focused on Emotional Image- (중국의 밀레니얼 세대가 인식하는 디자인에서의 고급감성에 관한 연구 -감성 이미지를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the high-emotional quality in the design perceived by the Chinese millennials. To do this, we summarized the theoretical concepts of high-emotional quality in design based on the understanding of the characteristics of the millennials. Second, we collected and analyzed the high-emotional quality images thought by 50 millennials living in Beijing, China. Research results showed that high-emotional quality in the design perceived by the Chinese millennials was the innovation of the technology with the change of times, the social superiority that distinguishes me from other groups, and the cultural excellence taking more pride in own culture. This study are expected to be used as the basic data to understand the emotions of the Chinese millennials and to establish a design strategy for them.

Comparative Study of the Quality of Automotive Engine Oils Being Marketed (국내 윤활관리 현황분석 및 품질 비교평가)

  • We have evaluated the performance and some physical properties of 25 automotive engine oils (21 domestic and 5 imported products) which are purchased on the market to verify the API(American Petroleum Institute) or ILSAC(International Lubricant Standardization and Approval Committee) certification marks attached on the products and to determine the necessity of the quality control of the engine oils on the market. 12 test items are chosen according to API engine oil specification, which are flash point, pour point, cold cranking simulator apparent viscosity, pumping viscosity, gelation index, HTHS(High Temperature High Shear viscosity), foam, high temperature foam, filterability, volatility, high temperature deposit(TEOST), phosphorus content. We have found one product which did not meet the API specification on gelation index, one on HTHS, four on foam, and one on volatility, which implies that the quality control system is in need to check the fidelity of the certification marks attached on the engine oils being marketed. In addition, this works raises the necessity of the upgrade of the present Korean engine oil specification.

  • Full motion video data is the most effective data type that transmits information in multimedia enviornment. VOD service is system that uses network to transmit full motion video data interactively. Therefore VOD service system must satisfy the following requirements. First, it should transmit high quality full motion video. Second, it should be able to control a large quantity of full motion video. Third, a user should be able to retrieve the full motion vide effectively. However the existing VOD service system is established based n file system that not only does it have disadvantages in managment such as transaction control but also it is not suitable for distributed multimedia environment. The goal of this research is to build a VOD service system that provides high-quality full motion video assuming information retrieval. In order to mainly search video data's bibliographical information and to manage related information, VOD service system and DBMS system are to be closely related. Also, to transmit high quality full motion video data, we use MTP$^{TM}$(Media Transfer Protocol) developed by StarLight. MTP$^{TM}$ guarantees high bandwidth that is necessary to tansmit high quality full motion video data effectively. In other hand TCP/IP which is used for information search does not guarentee high bandwidth as that in MTP$^{TM}$. Therfore VOD service system that seraches information managed by DBMS and transmits requried full motion video data should control different kinds of protocol simultaneously. This paper describes the configuration of VODB system that has solved these problems, implementation and efficiency of data applied system.stem.

MULTI-APERTURE IMAGE PROCESSING USING DEEP LEARNING

  • In order to obtain practical and high-quality satellite images containing high-frequency components, a large aperture optical system is required, which has a limitation in that it greatly increases the payload weight. As an attempt to overcome the problem, many multi-aperture optical systems have been proposed, but in many cases, these optical systems do not include high-frequency components in all directions, and making such an high-quality image is an ill-posed problem. In this paper, we use deep learning to overcome the limitation. A deep learning model receives low-quality images as input, estimates the Point Spread Function, PSF, and combines them to output a single high-quality image. We model images obtained from three rectangular apertures arranged in a regular polygon shape. We also propose the Modulation Transfer Function Loss, MTF Loss, which can capture the high-frequency components of the images. We present qualitative and quantitative results obtained through experiments.
