고음질의 음성합성을 위한 퍼지벡터양자화의 퍼지니스 파라메타선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fuzziness Parameter Selection in Fuzzy Vector Quantization for High Quality Speech Synthesis)

  • 본 눈문에서는 퍼지 벡터양자호를 이용하여 음성을 합성하는 방법을 제시하고,원음에 가까운 합성음을 얻기 위하여 퍼지벡터양자화의 성능을 최적화 하는 Fuzziness갑의 선정방법을 연구한다. 퍼지벡터 양자화를 이용하여 음성을 합성할때, 분석단에서는 입력 음성패턴과 코드북의 음성패턴의 유사도를 나타내는 퍼지 소속함수값을 출력하고, 합성단에서는 분석단에서 얻은 퍼지소속 함수값, fuzziness값, 그리고 FCM(Fuzzy-C-Means) 연산식을 이용하여 음성을 합성한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 벡터양자화에 의해 합성된 음성과 퍼지 벡터양자화에 의해 합성된 음성을 코드북의 크기에 따라 비교한 결과, 퍼지벡터양자화를 이용한 음성합성의 성능이 코드북 크기가 절반으로 줄어도 벡터양자화에 의한 성능과 거의 같음을 알수 있다. 이것은 VQ(Vecotr Quantiz-ation)에 의한 음성합성 결과와 같은 성능을 얻기 위해서 퍼지 VQ를 사용하면, 코드북 저장을 위한 메모리의 크기를 절반으로 줄일 수 있음을 의미한다. 그리고 SQNR을 최대로 하는 퍼지 벡터양자화를 얻기 위한 최적 Fuzziness값은 음성분석 프레임의 분산값이 크면 작게 선정해야 하고, 작으면 크게 선정 해야함을 밝혔다. 또한 합성음들을 주파수 영역의 스펙트로그램에서 비교한 결과 포만트 주파수와 피치주파수에서 퍼지 VQ에 의한 합성음이 VQ에 의한 것보다 원 음성에 더 가까움을 알 수 있었다.

열처리 후 플럭스 사파이어와 천연 사파이어의 비교 분석 (Comparison of flux and natural sapphire after heat-treatment)

  • 산업용 뿐만 아니라 보석용으로 가치가 있는 사파이어는 매우 다양한 방법으로 합성 사파이어를 만들어 왔다. 그 중 천연 사파이어와 매우 유사하며 보석용으로 가치가 높은 Chatham사의 플럭스 사파이어를 사용하여 천연 사파이어와 비교하였다. 먼저 WD-XRF(Wavelength dispersive x-ray fluorescence spectrometer)를 사용하여 천연과 합성의 화학 조성을 비교하였다. 천연 사파이어는 화학 조성이 매우 다양하였으나 플럭스 사파이어는 천연과 유사한 화학 성분과 특히 Mo, Pt, Pb 미량원소가 검출되었다. Pt는 플럭스 사파이어라는 결정적인 증거가 된다. 다음으로 $1300^{\circ}C$$1500^{\circ}C$의 고온에서 열처리를 한 후 자외선-가시광선 분광광도계(UV-VIS Spectrophotometer)를 사용하여 분광학적 특성을 조사함으로써 천연 사파이어는 $Cr^{3+}$와 관련된 약 690nm의 형광과 관련된 흡수 피크의 변화를 관찰할 수 있었고 플럭스 사파이어는 $Cr^{3+}$와 관련된 약 690nm의 피크와 376nm, 388nm의 $Fe^{3+}$의 흡수 피크가 변화함을 볼 수 있었다. 고온 열처리에 의해 플럭스 사파이어의 흡수 피크의 변화가 천연 사파이어의 흡수 피크의 변화보다 더 큰 것을 알 수 있었다 화학조성 및 분광분석 실험을 통하여 천연 사파이어와 flux 합성 사파이어의 특성을 비교 분석하였다.

JRC 등급에 따른 절리면 수리특성 연구 (A Study on Hydraulic Characteristics of Rock Joints Dependant on JRC Ranges)

  • 이 연구에서는 암반 내 절리면의 거칠기 정도에 따른 수리특성의 차이를 규명하고자 Barton(1976)이 제안한 절리면 거칠기 계수(Joint Roughness Coefficient; JRC) 등급별로 투수계수를 산정하였다. 이를 위하여 JRC등급 형태별로 고속퓨리에 변환을 이용한 스펙트럼 분석을 실시하여 각 거칠기 등급별로 영향력 이 큰 주파수 성분을 추출하였다. 스펙트럼 분석결과 낮은 JRC 등급을 갖는 절리들이 높은 등급의 절리들보다 저주파 성분이 더 강하게 구성되어 있으며, 높은 JRC등급의 절리들은 상대적으로 고주파 성분이 더 크게 차지하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 스펙트럼 성분 중에서 영향력이 큰 주파수 성분만을 이용하여 퓨리에 역변환을 실시해 JRC 등급별 절리 모델을 생성하였다. 생성된 절리 모델은 거칠기 성분을 포함한 모델로써, 균질화 해석기법을 이용하여 각 모델의 투수계수를 산정하였다. 균질화 해석법은 섭동이론을 적용한 것으로서, 미시규모(microscale) 매질특성과 거시규모(macroscale) 매질특성을 동시에 고려하여 투수계수를 계산할 수 있으므로 균열 기하양상의 국부적 영향을 고려한 투수특성을 정확히 해석할 수 있다. 균질화 해석법을 이용해 투수계수를 산정한 결과, 절리 간극이 동일한 평행판 모델을 가정한 JRC 등급별 투수계수는 $10^{-3}\~10^{-4}m/sec$의 범위에 분포한다. 반면, 전단변형이 발생한 것을 가정한 모델에서는 $10^{-4}\~10^{-5}m/sec$의 범위에 투수계수가 분포한다. 이 경우는 투수계수 분포가 일정한 변화양상을 보이지 않고 JRC등급에 따라 불규칙적인 투수계수 분포를 보인다. 동일한 크기의 간극을 갖는 경우임에도 불구하고 JRC 등급별로 투수계수의 차이가 발생하거나 전단변위에 따라 투수계수가 불규칙적으로 분포하는 것은 거칠기 변화가 투수계수의 변화에 영향을 미침을 지시하는 것으로서, 이 연구를 통해 암반내 절리 등 균열을 따른 수리특성 규명에 있어 절리면 거칠기의 영향은 반드시 고려되어야 함을 알 수 있다.

임펠라 스플리터 날개 최적 설계를 통한 무선진공청소기 팬 모터 단품의 공력 소음 저감 (Aerodynamic noise reduction of fan motor unit of cordless vacuum cleaner by optimal designing of splitter blades for impeller)

  • 본 논문에서는 무선진공청소기용 팬 모터 단품으로부터 방사되는 공력소음을 저감하기 위하여 팬 모터 단품 내부의 기존 임펠라에 스플리터 날개를 설계하였다. 우선, 팬 모터 단품, 특히 임펠라의 유동장을 분석하기 위하여 전산유체역학 기법을 사용하여 비정상, 비압축성 Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS) 방정식을 수치적으로 해석하였다. 예측한 유동장 결과를 입력값으로 Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings(FW-H) 적분 방정식을 풀어 임펠라로부터 방사되는 소음을 수치적으로 예측하였다. 예측한 음압스펙트럼과 측정값의 비교를 통하여 수치해석방법의 유효성을 검증하였다. 예측한 유동장 결과에 대한 추가 분석을 통하여 임펠라 날개 사이에서 강한 와류가 형성되는 것을 확인하였다. 와류는 유동에는 손실로 소음에는 소음원으로 작용하기 때문에 기존 임펠라에 스플리터 형상을 추가 설계하여 와류를 억제하고자 하였다. 스플리터의 길이와 위치를 설계 인자로 선정하였으며, 다구찌 기법을 사용하여 각각의 설계 인자가 공력소음에 미치는 영향도를 살펴보았다. 이 결과로부터 최소소음을 나타내는 스플리터의 최적 위치와 길이를 결정하였다. 최종 선정된 설계안에 대한 추가 해석을 통하여 소음성능이 개선됨을 확인 하였다.

단일 비트 전자-광학 시그마-델타 변조기의 성능 및 지터 효과 분석 (Performance and Jitter Effects Analysis of Single Bit Electro-Optical Sigma-Delta Modulators)

  • 전자-광학 시그마-델타 변조기는 안테나로부터 수신된 광대역 초고주파 신호를 직접 디지털 신호로 변환하는 디지털 수신기의 핵심 구성품이다. 전자-광학 시그마-델타 변조기는 펄스 레이저와 두 개의 마하-젠더 간섭계(Mach-Zehnder Interferometer: MZI)를 통하여 입력 신호를 초과 샘플링하고, 격자 섬유 누적기(Fiber-Lattice Accumulator: FLA)를 통하여 잡음을 감소시킨다. 고해상도의 출력 신호를 얻기 위해 양자화기 출력에는 데시메이션 필터링 과정이 추가된다. 변조기 설계시 지터는 변조기 입력 신호를 원 신호로 복원하는데 큰 영향을 미치는 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 전자-광학 1차 단일 비트 시그마-델타 변조기의 구현 과정 및 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 분석한다. 전자-광학 시그마-델타 변조기 입력 신호와 출력 신호를 시간 영역에서 분석하고, 복원된 신호에 대하여 비동기 스펙트럼 평균화 방식을 사용하여 주파수 영역의 성능을 분석한다. 지터(Jitter)가 있는 레이저 신호와 지터가 없는 레이저 신호에 대하여 시그마-델타 변조기의 성능을 비교 및 분석하여, 시간 지터가 변조기 성능에 영향을 미치는 지터값을 참고치(펄스 반복 주파수가 100 GHz인 경우, 시간 지터는 100 fs 이하)로서 제시한다. 이러한 지터값은 레이저 생성기 제작시나 변조기 설계시 참고 규격치로 이용된다.

개의 뇌 조직로부터 추출한 대사물질의 절대농도 측정 및 평가: 500 MHz 고자장 핵자기공명분광법을 이용한 예비연구결과 (Measurement and Assessment of Absolute Quantification from in Vitro Canine Brain Metabolites Using 500 MHz Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy: Preliminary Results)

  • 본 연구는 in vivo 보다 더욱 정확하게 뇌 대사물질을 정량 분석하고자 고자장 NMR 장비 (500MHz; 11.74T)를 이용하여 동물의 뇌를 in vitro 환경에서 조사 및 분석하였다. 일반적으로 in vivo 실험은 생체 내부의 혈류나 조직의 비균질성으로 인한 자기공명분광법의 shimming에 악영향을 미치기 때문에 부정확한 결과를 산출할 수 있다. 그러나, in vitro 실험은 이에 비하여 균질한 샘플을 사용하고 보다 고자장에서 실험환경을 조성할 수 있기 때문에 더욱 정확한 대사물질의 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 개 (canine)의 소뇌 (cerebellum)조직으로부터 대사물질을 추출하고 고자장 핵자기공명분광법으로 대사물질의 절대농도를 획득 하고자 하였다. 생체 대사물질의 절대농도를 획득하기 위하여 대표적인 대사물질(i.e., NAA, Cr, Cho, Ins, Lac, GABA, Glu, Gln, Tau Ala)의 팬톰을 제작하여 그 스펙트럼을 확보하였고, 개의 소뇌 부위를 적출하여 methanol-chloroform water extraction (M/C water extraction) 방법으로 대사물질만을 추출한 후 자기공명분광법을 수행하였다. 필터링 (filtering)의 효과를 평가하기 위하여 샘플 제작 시 추출물을 필터링한 그룹과 필터링하지 않은 그룹으로 분류하여 실험을 수행하였다. 팬텀 물질과 추출물은 90% D2O 수용액으로 만든 후 5mm NMR 튜브에 담아 실험하였다. 실험 결과 조직 추출물을 필터링하는 것이 신호대잡음비(signal to noise ratio: SNR, S/N)를 향상시키는 데 기여하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 개의 소뇌 대사물질의 절대농도는 사람보다는 쥐 (rat)의 뇌 대사물질 절대농도와 더 비슷한 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 고자장 핵자기공명분광법을 이용한 in vitro 실험은 뇌조직 내 대사물질의 절대농도를 측정하고 기본적인 지표를 확보하는데 매우 정확하고 정량적인 방법이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

노화에 따른 Zr-Ni계 지연관의 열 특성 및 화학적 구조 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on change in thermal properties and chemical structure of Zr-Ni delay system by aging)

  • 장기 저장된 탄약은 화공품의 노화에 따른 절심현상(연소 중단)으로 인해 불발 등의 악작용이 발생하게 된다. 탄약에 주로 사용되는 화공품은 초기 에너지를 부여하는 뇌관 화약과 뇌관 화약의 에너지를 받아 지연제를 점화시켜주는 점화제, 일정 시간 동안 연소를 지연시켜주는 지연제 등을 사용한다. 이러한 형태의 탄약에는 뇌관화약, 점화제, 지연제의 순으로 충전되는데 충전된 순서대로 에너지가 전달되어 기능을 발휘하게 된다. 탄약의 절심 현상은 점화제의 연소중단, 점화제로부터 지연제로의 불충분한 에너지 전달, 지연제의 연소 중단 등에 의해 발생하는데, 이러한 현상이 나타나는 요인으로는 각 구성 성분의 낮은 순도,부적절한 혼합비, 입자성 성분의 입자 크기 및 분포, 바인더의 종류, 각 구성 성분의 혼합방법, 장기저장시 흡입된 수분에 의한 구성성분의 가수분해 및 고온에 의한 구성 성분의 화학적 변화 등이 의심된다. 본 연구의 목적은 Zr-Ni계 지연관 결합체를 장기 보관했을 때 점화제 및 지연제에서 나타나는 연소중단현상의 원인을 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 현장에서 일어나는 절심현상과 일치하는 시험법을 개발하였고, 장-흐름 분획법(field-flow fractionation, FFF)을 이용하여 입자성 성분의 입자 크기와 분포를 조사하였으며, 장기보관에 의한 점화제와 지연제의 화학적인 변화 메커니즘을 조사하기 위하여 열분석(differential scanning calorimetry) 및 XRD, XPS (X-ray diffractometry, X-ray photoelectron Spectroscopy)분석을 수행하였다. XPS 와 XRD data 에 의하면, 점화제의 경우 산소의 1s 결합에너지 위치에서 M-O,M-OH 피크들이 관찰되었다. 이는 산화에 의한 새로운 생성물이 생성되었음을 의미한다. 즉 점화제의 산화에 의해 방출 열량이 감소하여 절심(연소 중단) 현상이 야기된다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다.

High Resolution HC$_3$N Observations toward the Central Region of Sagittarius B2

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500,550,570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500,550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100,300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. 한국과 중국 소비자의 쇼핑 경험가치 지각과 브랜드자산 및 점포충성도의 관계에 관한 비교 연구: 대형 할인점을 중심으로 (Study on the Relationships Among Perceived Shopping Values, Brand Equity, and Store Loyalty of Korean and Chinese Consumers: A Case of Large Discount Store)

  • 오늘날의 소비자들은 가격, 제품의 품질 등 실용적 가치 보다 쇼핑의 즐거움, 라이프스타일의 구현, 매력적인 점포쇼핑환경, 브랜드 애착심 등의 정서적 가치를 더 중요하게 생각하고 있다. 이처럼 소비자들은 단순히 상품만을 구매하기보다는 다양한 가치를 얻기 위해 쇼핑을 한다는 사실은 여러 연구에서 제안되었다(안광호와 이하늘 2011; Mathwick 등 2001). 이렇듯 소매점포 선택과 관련한 소비자행동차원의 쇼핑경험가치와 브랜드자산에 대한 중요성과 관심이 높아지고 있지만 관련 연구는 미미한 실정이며 이와 관련한 비교문화적 연구는 매우 미비한 실정이다(황순호 2010). 본 연구는 한국과 중국의 소비자들의 소매점포 선택과 관련한 소비자행동연구의 필요에 의해 시작되었다. 또한 소비자행동분야에서 소비자 경험이 중시되면서 소매점내 쇼핑경험가치에 초점을 맞추었다. 본 연구는 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화적으로 서로 다른 한국과 중국의 소비자들을 대상으로 대형할인점 소매점포에서 고객들이 지각하는 쇼핑 경험가치와 브랜드자산과의 관계를 밝혀내고 이를 통해 점포 충성도와의 관계를 찾아내어 소매점의 쇼핑 경험가치와 관련된 시사점을 찾아내기 위한 국가 간 비교 연구를 시도하였다. 본 연구는 이론적 배경으로 쇼핑가치와 유통브랜드 자산, 그리고 점포 충성도에 대한 이론적 배경을 소개하였으며, 가설 검증을 위한 자료 수집을 위하여 한국과 중국의 대형할인점 고객들을 대상으로 한국과 중국의 대도시 (서울 과 북경) 소비자들을 표본프레임으로 설정하고, 대면 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구의 결과 한중간 소비성향 차이 비교에 대한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국소비자와 중국 소비자 간의 소비성향차이를 검정한 결과 중국 소비자들은 심미적 소비성향과 상징적 소비성향의 평균값이 한국 소비자들에 비해 높게 나타났으며 한국 소비자들은 쾌락적 소비성향이 중국소비자들에 비해 상대적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대형할인점에 대한 한국과 중국의 브랜드 자산 지각에 대한 연구결과 중국에 비해 한국 소비자들이 브랜드 인지와 브랜드 이미지를 모두 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 한국과 중국에서 편의점과 할인점 이용 고객들이 지각하는 소매점에서의 쇼핑경험에 대한 탐색적 요인분석결과 각각의 국가에 따라 각기 다른 쇼핑경험가치가 나타났다. 한국의 할인점에서는 소비자이익 가치, 심미성가치, 유희성 가치가 중요한 쇼핑가치로 도출되었다. 또한 중국의 할인점에서는 유희성 가치, 심미성 가치, 소비자이익 가치, 서비스우수 가치가 중요한 쇼핑경험가치로 도출되었다. 이러한 연구의 목적에 대한 실증적 분석을 바탕으로 한국과 중국의 대형할인점 소비자들의 쇼핑경험가치과 브랜드자산을 바탕으로 한국의 대형할인점에 있어서 경험가치의 이론적 중요성에 관한 새로운 통찰력을 제공하여 주며 충성도 제고에 있어서 브랜드관리의 중요성에 대한 이론적 시사점을 제공하여 준다. 이와 더불어 유통의 국제화 시대에 있어서 대형할인점의 국제화에 요구되는 한국과 중국 간의 고객 가치의 차이점에 대한 비교문화적 관점에서 중요한 실무적 시사점을 제시한다. 즉, 해외유통전략을 실행하는데 있어서 쇼핑가치에 기반한 현지화 전략의 중요성에 대한 시사점을 제시하여 주며 국가차원에서의 차별적 유통전략의 개발 필요성을 제안하여 준다.
