A Study of Clamped-Mode Series Resonant Inverter (클램프드-모드 직렬공진형(直列共振形) 인버터에 관한 연구(硏究))

  • In this paper demonstrates the possibiity of utilising clamped mode - series resonant converter technology in the high frequency link inverter configuration. Main circuit of the proposed inverter is analyzed through circuit analys and waveform simulation. In control circuit PLL circuit and 8 bit single chip microcontroller is adopted, therefore flexibility and accuracy of control circuit is increased.

  • This paper presents a new control scheme that combines a sliding mode control and a neural network. In the proposed sliding mode control, a continuous control is employed removing the switching phenomena and the equivalent control within the boundary layer is estimated through on-line teaming of the neural network. The performances of the proposed control are compared with off-line neural network and on-line neural sliding mode control by computer simulation. The simulation results show that the proposed control reduces high frequency chattering and tracking error in example of the two link manipulator.

  • This paper describes atmospheric phenomena and effects for satellite-to-ground laser communication channel. Satellite laser communication has advantages such as very high bandwidth, inherent security, robustness to electromagnetic interference, unlicensed frequency band. However, satellite laser communication is affected by various factors. Transmission quality is degraded by factors as system loss, geometric loss, misalignment loss, atmospheric loss. Atmospheric loss is major factor of performance degradation. In this paper, the atmospheric phenomena such as absorption, scattering and turbulence are discussed and analyzed for developing satellite laser channel model and laser transmission scheme robust to atmospheric phenomena.

  • Fuel Cell (FC) has slow response characteristic for load variation. During a load step, the inverter cannot pull more power from the fuel cell than is currently available so supplemental power must be provide by some sort of energy storage elements. In this paper, hi-directional do-dc converter for FC generation system is proposed to improve load response characteristic. The hi-directional converter interfaces the low voltage battery to the inverter dc link of FC generation system. The converter is based on a active full bridge in the primary side and on a half bridge in the secondary of a high frequency isolation transformer. The complete operating principles and simulation results in presented.

  • 본 논문에서는 연료전지 전원시스템에 적합한 전류형 고주파 링크 DC-AC 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안된 전류형 고주파 링크 DC-AC 컨버터는 전류형 풀-브릿지 인버터, 능동 고조파 필터, 고주파 링크 변압기, 사이클로 컨버터로 구성된다. 1차측의 전류형 고주파 풀-브릿지 인버터는 정현파 PWM에 의해 변조된 전류펄스를 영전류 스위칭과 함께 발생시키고 두 개의 양방향 스위치와 출력 필터 캐패시터만으로 구성된 사이클로 컨버터는 분리형 단상 60Hz 정현파 전압을 출력한다. 입력단에 연결된 능동 고조파 필터는 연료전지로부터 유기된 저고조파 전류를 배터리 또는 수퍼캐패시터같은 장시간의 에너지 저장장치 없이 제거한다.

  • In this paper, we present a effective method to control robotic systems by an iterative learning algorithm. This method is based on the concepts of the learning control law which is introduced in this paper, that is, avoidance of using derivative of system state and ignorance of high frequency influence in system performance. By means of the betterment of performance due to the improvement of estimated unknown information, the learning control algorithm compels the system to gradually approach in desired trajectory, and eventually the tracking error asymptotically converges upon zero. In order to verify its utility, one degree of freedom of manipulator has been used in the experiments and the results illustrate this control scheme is very effective.

  • This paper proposes a new link structure that transmits power, clock, and data through a single optical fiber for a future automotive network. A pulse-position modulation (PPM) technique is adopted to guarantee a DC-balanced signal for robust power transmission regardless of transmitted data pattern. Further, circuit implementations and theoretical analyses for the proposed PPM transceiver are described in this paper. A prototype transceiver fabricated in 65-nm CMOS technology, is used to verify the PPM signaling part of the proposed system. The prototype achieves a $10^{-13}$ bit-error rate and 0.188-UI high frequency jitter tolerance while consuming 14 mW at 800 Mb/s.

  • This paper presents the sliding mode control with the perturbation estimator for a nonlinear control system in the presence of perturbations including external disturbances, unpredictable parameter variations, ana unstructured dynamics. The proposed perturbation estimator is based on the Recursive Linear Smoothed Newton predictive algorithm so that it is effective to attenuate an undesired noise in high frequency band and to predict the present perturbation signal from the previous ones. Compared to conventional sliding mode control (SMC) and sliding mode control with perturbation estimation (SMCPE) introduced by Elmali and Olgac, the control algorithm proposed in this study can offer better tracking control performances and more feasible estimation characteristics. The effectiveness and superiority of the proposed control strategy are demonstrated by a series of simulations on the position tracking control of a simple two-link robot manipulator subject to velocity feedback signals including white noises.

  • This paper describes a new interactive inverter between a photovoltaic(PV) array and single-phase utility that avoid the bulky input (60Hz) transformer on the AC side. The interface employs a pwm boost converter on the DC side followed by a pwm current-forced single-phase rectifier for injecting the power from the PV array into the mains. The current waveform at the AC side remains sinusoidal and exactly in phase at all time. The circuit also has the advantage of requiring fewer switching device than high-frequency link system. This paper describes modeling of PV array and new system topology. Simulation results on the performance of the connection are also presented.

  • 본 논문에서는 계통 연계가 가능한 새로운 교류/직류 전력변환 장치를 제안한다. 제안된 전력변환 회로는 정현파의 입력상 전류를 가지고, 양방향 전력 전달이 가능하며, 역률 제어가 가능하다는 장점으로 인하여 계통 연계형 전력변환 장치로 적합하다. 특히 제안된 전력변환 장치는 무효전력 소자의 사용을 최소화하여 시스템의 신뢰성을 증대시키고, 전기적 절연을 고주파 변압기를 통하여 얻도록 하여 시스템의 부피를 줄일 수 있다는 장점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 전력변환 회로의 구성 방법과 각 부분 별 동작에 대해서 기술하였으며 실험 장치를 구성하여 그 타당성을 입증하였다.
