  • We developed a measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of performances of KHST. The measurement system is composed of software part and hardware part. Perfect interface between multi-users is possible. A new method to measure temperature was applied to the measurement system. By using the system, fault diagnosis and performance evaluation of electric equipment in Korean High Speed Train was conducted during test running.

  • 고속열차에서 주요 전장품들은 차량의 전체 성능을 좌우하는 매우 중요한 요소이다. 따라서 장치에 대한 성능 특성을 파악하고 진단하기 위해 상시계측시스템을 구축하였다. 또한 제작된 상시계측시스템을 통해 전장품에 대한 계측 및 분석을 통한 시험평가와 동시에 완성차 시험이나 본선시운전 시험시에 발생할 수 있는 고장원인을 찾아내었다.

  • 본 논문은 특정 주파수 대역에서 큰 이득을 갖는 PR 제어기를 이용한 단상 PWM 컨버터의 전류 제어 기법에 대해 제안한다. 고속전철 주전력변환장치는 단상 PWM 컨버터와 3상 인버터로 구성되며, 단상 PWM 컨버터는 단위 역률 제어와 가선전류 고조파 저감을 위하여 빠른 동특성을 갖는 순시 전류 제어 방법이 필요하다. 일반적으로 순시 전류 제어를 위해서 사용되는 동기 좌표계 PI 제어기는 연산 량이 증가하고, 정지 좌표계 PI 제어기는 정상상태 오차가 발생하는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 보완할 수 있는 순시 전류 제어 방법을 시뮬레이션과 시험을 통하여 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 고속전철용 1C1M 추진제어장치의 개발에 관한 것이다. KTX-산천 추진제어장치와 호환되도록 컨버터 부분은 DC링크를 공유하여 컨버터 2대를 병렬 운전하도록 하였다. 인버터 2대를 배치하여 견인전동기를 개별적으로 제어할 수 있도록 하였다. 동일 대차에서 1축, 2축 바퀴의 직경차는 1C2M 추진제어장치에서는 4mm 이하로 관리되고 있다. 1C1M 추진제어장치를 개발하여 바퀴의 직경차가 40mm 이하로 관리되도록 바퀴 직경관리 기준을 향상 시켜 바퀴의 사용 시간을 연장할 수 있도록 하였다. 컨버터, 인버터가 중고장에 의하여 차단 시 고장난 컨버터, 인버터 군을 차단하고 나머지 컨버터, 인버터 군은 재기동하는 충전회로 및 시퀀스를 추가하여 50% 동력을 사용하도록 하였다. 개발된 추진제어장치는 전력회로 시험, 기능 동작 시험을 통하여 제어가 원활히 수행됨을 확인하였다.

  • 차세대 고속철도 기술개발 사업을 통해 개발된 통합차상신호 시스템은 국내에서 운영중인 세가지 신호시스템인 ATP, ATC, ATS의 신호를 모두 처리하면서 열차 운행의 중단 없이 열차 운행구간을 이동하게 된다. 현재 통합차상신호시스템의 신뢰성과 안정성 확인을 위해 차세대 고속철도 시제차인 HEMU-430X에 탑재하여 시운전을 진행중에 있는데, 시운전이 여객열차의 영업운전 사이에 진행되기 때문에 다양한 실험과 검증에 많은 제약이 따른다. 이러한 제약 사항을 해결하고 다양한 실험과 개선 활동을 위해 통합차상신호시스템을 실험실내에서 테스트할 수 있는 통합차상신호시스템용 시뮬레이터의 개발이 필요하게 되었고, 본 논문에서는 통합차상신호시스템용 시뮬레이터 개발에 관한 내용을 다룬다.

Analysis of Current Collection Performance Testing and Result of 350[km/h] Catenary System (350km/h 전차선로 집전성능 시험 및 결과 분석)

  • The 350[km/h] catenary system was successfully opened in Honam high speed line. This 350[km/h] catenary system is firstly constructed in South Korea. Therefore the current collection performance of this system should be tested and evaluated by the authority. This paper describes the testings by running of HEMU-430X train and the evaluation criteria and result analysis to determine whether the performance of the catenary is good or not as a verification of catenary-pantograph interface. In detail, the contact force by pantograph, arcs by loss of contact and uplift amount of the catenary support were measured and discussed as a category of the current collection performance.

  • Railway noise has been a social issues nowadays in our community. This paper discusses the environmental noise problem along railway lines. We overview the noise level and noise exposed populations due to conventional and high speed train operation at first. Then we introduce variety of noise reduction schemes to protect the community based on an engineering approach. Some applicationcases to reduce the noise will be demonstrated. Finally, we propose the noise barrier tunnel as a tool of a generic solution to reduce the community noise along railway lines.

  • There are three items, which are panhead displacement, tilting angle of pan head, required moment of main shaft, which representing kinematic performance of pantograph. Kinematic variables effective on kinematic performance are length of each components and installation angle, In this study, cost function is defined with 3 items, By this cost function, length of thrust rod was optimized. Finite element analysis was used to consider structural soundness. Finite element model was qualified by comparison between analysis result with experiment result. By qualified F.E, model various severe condition was simulated to consider structural soundness.

  • In this paper, the process of development of resilient sleepers, which improves the train safety, passenger comport and reduces the noise and vibration, is presented. To determine the required material properties of elastic pad, static and dynamic simulations are performed and is applied in manufacturing. Lateral resistance and durability characteristics of the resilient sleepers are experimentally investigated. From the experiment results, it is investigated that the displacement is less for sleeper with elastic pad than that in ordinary PC form. However, the lateral resistance is investigated little less -for sleeper with elastic pad than ordinary PC form. These results indicate that the elastic pad can reduce possibility of rail-corrugations and thus resulting in the reduction of maintenance costs.

  • Bearings are elementary machinery component which loads and do rotating motion. Excessive loads or many other reasons can cause incipient faults to be created and grown in each component. Moreover, it happens that incipient faults which were caused by manufacturing or assembling process' errors of the bearings are created. Finding the incipient faults as early as possible is necessary to the bearings in severe condition: high speed or frequently varying load condition, etc. How early we can detect the faults has to do with how the detection algorithm finds the fault information from measured signal. Fortunately, the bearing fault signal makes periodic impulse train. This information allows us to find the faults regardless how much noise contaminates the signal. This paper shows the basic signal processing idea and experimental results that demonstrate how good the method is.
