A Study on the Color Management Plan of Digital Printing for Indoor and Outdoor Advertisement (옥내외 광고용 디지털 인쇄의 색 관리 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Split digital printing into interior and outdoors on present advertisement. When is printing machine for interior mainly, use ink of water-based type. Equipment of this type embodies high resolution, but ink special quality light stability is weak. Also, when is printing machine for outdoors, printing machines of solvent or UV type are used because of water resistance and light stability. This printing machines hard to embody ink special quality high resolution mainly. And because outside is far visibility range, is uncommon in case high resolution requires embodiment. Therefore, high resolution of inside is water-based type considering this item and outside printing machine of low resolution solvent type mainly announce. Also, divide into eco-friendly latex ink type that is announced to water-based, solvent, UV according to ink type and the latest market using in occasion of digital printing machine used as advertisement industry. Color management that is been consistent of original image has a lot of difficulties by using substrate that is also various to digital printing machine for such various advertisement. But, consumers is rising realization about color or desire about quality improvement of color gradually in interior outside advertisement market. So, require solution method. Therefore, in this paper, eco-friendly ink use applied device calibration through linearization in done latex digital printing machine to basis. And studied right color management plan of digital printing for interior outside advertisement through three steps such as G7 calibration application and ICC profile application.

  • The shape of the register mark for the image processing becomes very important, because the printing quality is determined by the error correction between the register marks for the image processing. In this paper, printing marks are developed using the image process for the gravure printing method which is commonly being used in roll to roll, high resolution printing. The marks which can be cited to the flexible display print are developed The developed register marks which satisfies 10[${\mu}m$] error tolerance are tested under 70[mpm] printing conditions and confirmed through the experiments.

  • In this work, we developed a high resolution printing technique based on transferring a pattern from a PDMS stamp to a Pd and Au substrate by microcontact printing Also, we fabricated various 2D metallic and polymeric nano patterns with the feature resolution of sub-micrometer scale by using the method of microcontact printing (${\mu}$CP) based on soft lithography. Silicon masters for the micro molding were made by e-beam lithography. Composite poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) molds were composed of a thin, hard layer supported by soft PDMS layer. From this work, it is certificated that composite PDMS mold and undercutting technique play an important role in the generation of a clear SAM nanopattern on Pd and Au substrate.

  • This paper proposes a printing quality inspection system of film-type envelopment. Since the printing system is running at very high-speed (140m/min.) and the line error has very narrow width, we have to choose one-dimensional high-speed and high-resolution line scan camera. The vibration of the printing machine and the illumination environment make the inspection problem more harder. To obtain reliable inspection results, many software image processing techniques are applied and many parameters are tuned. The performance of the proposed system is proved by many simulations and long time real-plant experiments.

  • Several methods are available for the fabrication of electrode pattern for the plasma display panel(PDP) including screen printing and photolithographic method. Piezo type ink-jet printing method is considered to the method of choice for electrode patterning in manufacturing of PDP. Both silver ink and absorbent layer paste formulation were developed for ink-jet printing of electrode pattern. The ink-jet printing of silver electrode with preformed absorbent layer was especially suitable for the patterning of address electrode for high resolution PDP.

  • Embedded Controller which controls whole system is most important part of embedded system. Nowadays, new technique called SoC is more using than ASIC. But SoC have some problems. Because of long development time and high cost, it is hard to applying SoC to small and medium enterprise. So many companies use IP technique combined with embedded processor. High resolution inkjet marking system is printing system with embedded controller. It is used in various part of industry. But it has many problems such as printing quality, marking errors, system faults and so on. In this paper, we designed and implemented IP that can solve the printing quality problems. We analyzed total-logic-elements and timing by simulation. As a result of simulation, we could verified that output signals satisfied reference timing. Appling IP to high resolution inkjet marking system, we could get good quality printing message.

  • The color filter os made in four methods ; dyeing, printing electrodisposition and pigment dispersed method. Among technologies for color filter manufacture, pigment-dispersed and hybrid method are dominant over all others in commercial manufacture of large scale, fine resolution color filter for liquid crystal display. In this paper to investigate the possibility of the color filter manufacture for LCD by screen printing method, we synthesyzed PVA/sbQ screen emulation for high resolution, estimated image of printed fine pattern and manufactured color filter by screen printing. Results of the study are as follow and found the screen printing method os useful and valid from it. 1. Fine pattern is formed due to photocyclodomerization of -C=C- bond at 342nm, on the other hand unexposured parts are removed in water. 2. sharpness and resolution of fine pattern is improved at mesh streching angle 22.5 and 45 than 0 degree. It is expected due to resistance between inks and mesh streching angles. 3. Spectral characteristics of sample inks were R(640nm), G(535nm), B(470nm), transmittance were R(92%), G(79%), B(70%) and chromaticity coordinate values were R(0.62,0.33), G(0.32,0.59), B(0.14,0.17)

  • Current thin film process using memory device fabrication process use expensive processes such as manufacturing of photo mask, coating of photo resist, exposure, development, and etching. However, direct printing technology has the merits about simple and cost effective processes because inks are directly injective without mask. And also, this technology has the advantage about fabrication of fine pattern line on various substrates such as PCB, FCPB, glass, polymer and so on. In this work, we have fabricated the fine and thick metal pattern line for the electronic circuit board using metal ink contains Ag nano-particles. Metal lines are fabricated by two types of printing methods. One is a conventional printing method which is able to quick fabrication of fine pattern line, but has various difficulties about thick and high resolution DPI(Dot per Inch) pattern lines because of bulge and piling up phenomenon. Another(Second) methods is sequential printing method which has a various merits of fabrication for fine, thick and high resolution pattern lines without bulge. In this work, conductivities of metal pattern line are investigated with respect to printing methods and pattern thickness. As a result, conductivity of thick pattern is about several un.
