Hybrid Stepping Motor의 Driving Controller 설계와 응용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Applications and Design of Driving Controller Circuit in hybrid Stepping Motor)

  • 로봇과 자동화기기에 범용으로 사용되는 Stewing Motor의 Driving을 위하여 unipolar 방식과 bipolar 방식의 Controller Circuit를 design 하였으며 특히 design시 Digital logic을 이용하여 Controller를 설계 제작하여 실험을 통해 그 응용성을 실험하였다. 또한 Motor의 효율 향상을 위하여 Motor의 Winding에 흐르는 전류를 제어하기 위하여 constant Current Limit Methode와 Constant Voltage Limit Methode를 분석하고 실재 회로 제작 시 응용하여 Motor의 효율을 향상시켰다.

기어 전달오차 계측 시스템 개발 및 검증에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Gear Transmission Error Measurement System and Verification)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and verify a precision transmission error measurement system for a gear pair. The transmission error measurement system of the gear pair was developed as a measurement unit, signal processing unit, and signal analysis unit. The angular displacement for calculating the transmission error of the gear pair was measured using an encoder. The signal amplification, interpolation, and transmission error calculation of the measured angular displacement were conducted using a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) and a real-time processor. A high-pass filter (HPF) was applied to the calculated transmission error from the real-time processor. The transmission error measurement test was conducted using a gearbox, including the master gear pair. The same test was repeated three times in the clockwise and counterclockwise directions, respectively, according to the load conditions (0 - 200 N·m). The results of the gear transmission error tests showed similar tendencies, thereby confirming the stability of the system. The measured transmission error was verified by comparing it with the transmission error analyzed using commercial software. The verification showed a slight difference in the transmission error between the methods. In a future study, the measurement and analysis method of the developed precision transmission error measurement system in this study may possibly be used for gear design.

Agricultural tractor roll over protective structure (ROPS) test using simplified ROPS model

  • In this study, the feasibility of alternative tractor Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS) designed to evaluate conditions required for testing was confirmed. In accordance with Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) code 4, the required load energy of the tractor ROPS was determined. First, the tractor ROPS test was performed and a repeated test was performed using a simplified ROPS as an alternative tractor ROPS. The test procedure is first rearward, second lateral, and last forward based on ROPS. The load test device consists of a load cell that measures force and a LVDT that measures deformation. Precision was confirmed by calculating the relative standard deviation of the simplified ROPS repeated test. Accuracy was analyzed by calculating the mean relative error between the mean measured values in the simplified ROPS test and the tractor ROPS test. As a result, the relative standard deviation was less than 2.5% for force and 3.3% for maximum deformation overall, showed the highest precision in lateral load. The mean relative error value for force measured at the lateral load of simplified ROPS was 0.5%, showing the highest accuracy. In the front load test, the mean relative error of maximum deformation was 20.5%, showing the lowest accuracy. The mean relative error (MRE) was high in the forward load test was because of structural factors of the ROPS. The simplified ROPS model is expected to save money and time spent preparing tractors.

고 정밀 캠 측정 장치 개발 및 오차분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of the High Precision Cam Measurement Apparatus and Analysis of Cam Manufacturing Error)

  • Cam mechanisms are one of the most popular devices for generating irregular motion and are widely used in many automatic equipments, such as textile machinery, internal combustion engines and other automatic devices. In order to obtain the positive motion of follower by rotating cam, its shape should be correctly designed and manufactured. However, complex engineering tasks are required in a design and manufacturing of cams. And also, the manufacturing of general cam is demanded high costs. For the designing of cam, it must be decided that what kind of motion has to be transmitted to follower before selecting the curve of cam and designing profile of cam. However, even though the exact profile of cam is designed at the progress of design, if it doesn't have precision at the manufacturing progress, it's impossible to get expected result. We will develop cam simulation apparatus for measuring cam curve and get profile data before analyzing an error through comparison with design data of cam.

  • 섬유기계산업은 생산성의 극대화를 위해 고속/정밀화를 추구하고 있으며 수요자의 요구에 따라 높은 내구성과 안정성, 신뢰성을 가진 기계를 요구하고 있다 본 연구에서는 워터제트직기를 대상으로 실제 운전 시 구동계에 토크센서를 부착하여 모듈별로 직기에 영향을 미치는 부하량을 측정 및 분석하였다 또한, 워터제트직기에 대한 동역학적 해석을 수행한 결과와 비교함으로서 섬유기계의 구동계에 대한 토크와 진동에 대한 계측 및 분석기술을 개발하고, 내구성과 안정성이 뛰어난 고부가가치의 섬유기계 개발에 대한 기초자료를 제시하였다.

  • Micro hole is one of basic elements for micro device or micro parts. By micro ECM, micro holes less than $50\mu{m}$ in diameter can be machined easily. Machining characteristics of micro ECM were investigated according to machining conditions such as electrolyte concentration and pulse conditions. From the investigation, optimal machining conditions were suggested for micro ECM of stainless steel. For the micro machining with high resolution, the change of machining gap should be predicted. By using electrochemical principle equations, the change of machining gap was simulated.

  • In the recent years, as the research and the development of micro and precision machinery become active, the interest of micro actuators using SMA(Shape Memory Alloy) has been increased. The dynamic characteristic analysis of SMA is necessary for actuator application and many common researches report the material characteristics of SMA sufficiently. However, the research of dynamic characteristics is very deficient. In this paper, the helical spring is fabricated with NiTi SMA wire of high resistivity The force, response speed, temperature, and displacement are measured by digital force gauge, infrared thermometer, and laser displacement sensor so that the dynamic characteristics of this SMA actuator is analyzed.

공작 기계 벨트 구동계의 동적 해석 (Dynamic analysis on belt-drive system of machine tools)

  • The needs of ultraprecision machine tools, which manufacture and machine the high precision parts used in computers, semiconductors and othe rprecise machines, have been increased recentrly. So it is important to design the driving parts of the ultraprecision machine tools which affect significantly on the performance of them. In this paper, the dynamic analyses on the belt-drive system were studied. The correlational equations between the acoustic natural frequency and the tension of belt were derived by experiments. The dynamic delections while the dynamic loads on the motor system changed were analyzed by the finite element analysis. The nonlinear characteristics of the bearings on the dynamic performance was studied and the belt connecting the motor to the spindle of a machine tool was modeled by the truss element and the beam element.

정밀 파종용 롤러식 배종장치의 설계 (Design of Roller-Type Metering Device for Precision Planting)

  • Scattering of seeds is one of the problems in the hill- dropping planters with a roller-type metering device. For crops like rice, corns and beans, the hill-dropping is own better for a high yield than the drill planting. The roller type metering device has been used for the drill planters and has many advantages. However, it has a problem of scattering of seeds when they are placed on rows. In this study a method was developed to design the roller type metering device fir the precision hill-droppings. Design parameters were derived to configure completely the geometries of the roller and brush. The method was applied to the design of the metering device of the rice seeding machines. The field test showed that the metering device designed by the method made a better performance of seed placement than that made by the precvious one. The method also can be applied to the design of metering devices for the precise hill-droppings of other crops.

전해인프로세스드레싱법에 의한 초정밀 원통 연삭기술 연구 (A Study on the Cylindrical Grinding Technology by Electrolytic In-Process Dressing(ELID) Method)

  • The ELID(electrolytic in-process dressing) grinding method is a new precision grinding technique with the special electrolytic in-process dressing by metal bonded grinding wheel, fluid, and power supply. It is possible to make a efficient precision machining of hard and brittle materials such as ceramics, hard metals, and quenched steels by using this method, In this study, a new efficient precision grinding method with ELID was attempted for application to the machining and finishing processes of cylindrical structural components. And, we try to develop the cylindrical grinding technique for mirror surface of ceramics, tungsten carbide and SCM steel, and for the high efficiency grinding of machined parts, for example, ball screw shaft. Electrical characteristics of three different wheel grit sizes of #325, #2000 and #4000 were investigated experimentally. ELID grinding method is proved to be useful for mirror surface generation and efficient machining.
