Analysis Task Scheduling Models based on Hierarchical Timed Marked Graph

  • Task scheduling is an integrated component of computing with the emergence of grid computing. In this paper, we address two different task scheduling models, which are static Round-Robin (RR) and dynamic Fastest Site First (FSF) task scheduling method, using extended timed marked graphs, which is a special case of Stochastic Petri Nets (SPN). Stochastic reward nets (SRN) is an extension of SPN and provides compact modeling facilities for system analysis. We build hierarchical SRN models to compare two task scheduling methods. The upper level model simulates task scheduling and the lower level model implements task serving process for different sites with multiple servers. We compare these two models and analyze their performances by giving reward measures in SRN.

인지적 작업분석에 의한 검사작업의 인간 수행도 분석 (An Application of Cognitive Task Analysis for the Evaluation of Human Performance on Inspection Tasks)

  • In a large number of literature on of inspection tasks, one of the most consistent findings is the existence of large and consistent differences among inspectors. It is possible that the individual difference is described by the difference of cognitive skills, because cognitive skills are required more than manual skills in inspection tasks. Therefore, a set of cognitive factors in human information processing may underly human performance in inspection tasks. In this study, a cognitive skill was described as the relative importance of the cognitive factors involved. A hierarchical task analysis and a fuzzy hierarchical analysis were used to represent how the importance of cognitive factors contribute to inspection performance. An experiment was conducted using the computer simulations of PCB inspection tasks. The results revealed that the subject group with better performance showed the importance weights of cognitive factors in the following rank; (attention, perception, judgement, classification, recognition)<(detection)$\ll$(memory). The results of the experiment can serve as a selection criterion for efficient inspection performance and the information of skilled learning for an inspection training program. The usefullness of a hierarchical task analysis and a fuzzy hierarchical task analysis for the analysis of cognitive tasks are also confirmed.

Multi-task learning with contextual hierarchical attention for Korean coreference resolution

  • Coreference resolution is a task in discourse analysis that links several headwords used in any document object. We suggest pointer networks-based coreference resolution for Korean using multi-task learning (MTL) with an attention mechanism for a hierarchical structure. As Korean is a head-final language, the head can easily be found. Our model learns the distribution by referring to the same entity position and utilizes a pointer network to conduct coreference resolution depending on the input headword. As the input is a document, the input sequence is very long. Thus, the core idea is to learn the word- and sentence-level distributions in parallel with MTL, while using a shared representation to address the long sequence problem. The suggested technique is used to generate word representations for Korean based on contextual information using pre-trained language models for Korean. In the same experimental conditions, our model performed roughly 1.8% better on CoNLL F1 than previous research without hierarchical structure.

비정돈 환경의 표면 소독을 위한 실현성 예측 기반의 장애물 제거 계획법 및 접촉식 방역 로봇 시스템 (Feasibility Prediction-Based Obstacle Removal Planning and Contactable Disinfection Robot System for Surface Disinfection in an Untidy Environment)

  • We propose a task and motion planning algorithm for clearing obstacles and wiping surfaces, which is essential for surface disinfection during the pathogen disinfection process. The proposed task and motion planning algorithm determines task parameters such as grasping pose and placement location during the planning process without using pre-specified or discretized values. Furthermore, to quickly inspect many unit motions, we propose a motion feasibility prediction algorithm consisting of collision checking and an SVM model for inverse mechanics and self-collision prediction. Planning time analysis shows that the feasibility prediction algorithm can significantly increase the planning speed and success rates in situations with multiple obstacles. Finally, we implemented a hierarchical control scheme to enable wiping motion while following a planner-generated joint trajectory. We verified our planning and control framework by conducted an obstacle-clearing and surface wiping experiment in a simulated disinfection environment.

병원에 근무하는 물리치료사의 직무특성과 이직의도와의 관련성 연구 (Relationships between Job Characteristics and Turnover Intention of the Physical Therapists of Hospitals)

  • Recruiting and maintaining capable physical therapists in hospitals is crucial to provide patients with better quality's physical therapy and to achieve hospital business objectives. This study is to provide basic data for effective personnel management of physical therapists in the hospital. For this, this study was conducted to confirm the relationship between turnover intention and job characteristics(task importance, job autonomy, job feedback, task identity, skill diversity), and to find out factors affecting the turnover intention of hospital physical therapists in Korea. The sample used in this study consisted of 173 physical therapists who were working in hospitals located in Seoul from June 18 to 29. The data for analysis were collected by questionnaire survey. The dependent variable of this study was turnover intention and the independent variables were job characteristics(task importance, job autonomy, job feedback, task identity, skill diversity), demographic characteristics of respondents(sex, age, education level, marital status, working hospital, working career). The major statistical methods used for the analysis were factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Turnover intention according to demographic characteristics of respondents was significantly high in the graduate school above group. As the result of hierarchical multiple regression analysis of turnover intention, R2 of job characteristics was much more powerful than demographic characteristics. The factors had significant negative effect on turnover intention were job autonomy, task identity, and skill diversity. And in demographic characteristics factors, there were not significant factors on turnover intention. In considering above findings, for decreasing turnover intention of physical therapists, hospitals need to develop strategies for enhancing job satisfaction by improving job autonomy, task identity, and skill diversity from the adequate job environment.

Development of An Inventory to Classify Task Commitment Type in Science Learning and Its Application to Classify Students' Types

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an inventory to classify task commitment types of science learning and to classify highschool students' task commitment types. Firstly, inventory questions were designed following the literature analysis on the task commitment components which involve self confidence, high goal setting, and focused attention. Prototype inventory underwent the content validity test, pilot test, and reliability test. Through these steps, final inventory was input to 462 high school students and underwent the factor analysis and cluster analysis. Factor analysis confirmed three components of task commitment as the three factors of inventory questions. In order to find how many clusters exist, factors of developed inventory became new variables. Each factor's factor mean was calculated and served as the new variable of the cluster analysis. Cluster analysis extracted five clusters as task commitment types. The 5 clusters were suggested by the agglomarative schedule and dendrogram gained from a hierarchical cluster analysis with the setting of the Ward algorithm and Squared Euclidean distance. Based on the factor mean score, traits of each cluster could be drawn out. Inventory developed by this study is expected to be used to identify student commitment types and assess the effectiveness of task commitment enhancement programs.

HMIPv6에서의 고속 매크로 핸드오프 지원 방안 (A Fast Handoff between MAPs in Hierarchical Mobile IPv6)

  • Internet Engineering Task Force(IETF)는 효율적인 이동성 지원을 위해 Hierarchical Mobile IPv6(HMIPv6)를 제안하였다. HMIPv6는 Mobility Anchor Point(MAP) 도메인 내에서 기존 Mobile IP(MIP)에서 모바일 노드의 이동시 마다 필수적이었던 시그널링 오버헤드와 Binding Update(BU)로 인한 지연을 줄 일수 있는 방법을 제공한다 하지만 MAP과 MAP사이를 이동하는 사용자에 대해서는 아무런 대비책을 제시하지 않고 있기 때문에 실시간 응용프로그램의 사용에 있어서 이 경우 상당한 지연이 발생한다. 본 논문은 MAP과 MAP사이를 이동하는 사용자에 대해서도 사용자의 통신에 대한 영향을 최소화할 수 있도록 핸드오프 지연시간을 단축할 수 있는 고속 핸드오프를 제안하고 수학적 모델을 통하며 기존의 HMIPv6와 비교하였다.

SHERPA기법을 이용한 항공기 착륙상황에서 발생 가능한 인적오류 예측 (Predicting Human Errors in Landing Situations of Aircraft by Using SHERPA)

  • This study aims to examine probable human errors when landing an airplane by the use of SHERPA(systematic human error reduction and prediction approach) and propose methods for preventing the predictive human errors. It has been reported that human errors are concerned with a lot of accidents or incidents of an airplane. It is significant to predict presumable human errors, particularly in the operation mode of human-automation interaction, and attempt to reduce the likelihood of predicted human error. By referring to task procedures and interviewing domain experts, we analyzed airplane landing task by using HTA(hierarchical task analysis) method. In total, 6 sub-tasks and 19 operations were identified from the task analysis. SHERPA method was used for predicting probable human error types for each task. As a result, we identified 31 human errors and predicted their occurrence probability and criticality. Based on them, we suggested a set of methods for minimizing the probability of the predicted human errors. From this study, it can be said that SHERPA can be effectively used for predicting probable human error types in the context of human-automation interaction needed for navigating an airplane.

A Comparison of Human Performance between Operators of a Main Control Room in the SMR

  • Objective: This study aims to improve human performance by analyzing the operators' tasks and providing input data on the composition of future SMART operators. Background: SMART is a nuclear reactor for export which needs operators who can satisfy both safety and economic feasibility. Therefore, this study is fundamental research on the composition of operators and this research analyzed SMART tasks in terms of human safety performance. Method: After analyzing 10 SMART EOG in hierarchical task analysis, this study classified task performance types according to task requirements of NUREG-0711 (Rev.3). Results: This study found the task frequency of SMART EOG and 12 operating task types. Conclusion: This study expects that human performance can be improved by analyzing the personal errors, which have the highest task frequency among 12 operating task types. Application: The results of this study can be applied as base data when licensing needs to be acquired.

  • The complexity and consistency are important factors that affect human information processing in use of product. In this study, complexity and consistency of product(remote controller) are measured by Task Action Grammar(TAG) model. Also, new design alternative of the user interface is presented and evaluated. The results show that the consistent system and the good correspondence between hierarchical structure of system and user's mental model lead to the reduction of errors and enhanced user's performance.
