권역별 난방에너지 요구량 분석을 통한 단열기준 개선방안 (Improvement Method of Regional Insulation Standard through the Regional Heating Energy Demand Analysis)

  • The effect of climate change has influenced humanity and ecosystem with tremendous changes in temperature. For the past 150 years, the national annual average temperature is 0.6 degree increased and the heating degree day reduced from April to November. However, December to January, the climate change was generated and the heating degree day increased. The blackout occured in 2011 and 2012 by increasing electricity consumption of heating and cooling equipment to the effects of climate change. That is because heating load accounted for 20% of building electric use. In this study, strengthening measures to reduce heating energy consumption is presented due to climate change in winter since 1980 to prevent blackout and reliable power supply for the building energy-saving design standards by Meteorological data provided by the National Weather Service were calculated using the heating degree days in order to present eighteen cities from 1980 to 2012. Insulation standards are presented to prevent black-out by the heating degree days. the heating energy demand was reduced almost 6% including 10% in Central, 5% in South and Jeju area based on strengthening of the insulation. It is applied to the entire country an annual economic effect of 250 billion won, and black-out can be prevented.

  • 지역난방시스템이란 열에너지를 생산하고 만들어진 열에너지를 넓은 지역에 공급하는 시스템이다. 지역난방시스템은 국부난방보다 더 효율적이고 친환경적이라고 할 수 있다. 생산 된 열은 단열 배관 네트워크를 통해 사용자들에게 공급된다. 지역난방시스템의 효율적인 운전을 위해서는 여러 가지 운전 조건에서 배관망 네트워크의 유량, 압력 및 온도 분포를 예측하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 지역난방용 지중매설 배관망 네트워크에서의 열-유체 동적거동을 수학적 모델을 사용하여 예측하였다. 수학적 모델은 물질, 운동량 및 에너지 수지식을 사용하였다. 모델링의 결과를 검증하기 위하여 강남지역 지역난방시스템에서 측정한 결과와 모델링의 결과를 비교하였다.

  • This paper presents a method. for estimating the useful output of solar heating sys-terns. Heating load calculations, climatic data and various conditions are used in this procedure to estimate the fraction of the monthly heating load supplied by solar energy for a particular system the design procedure presented in this paper referred to the f-chart method. The results of this study are as follows; 1) The collected energy is not rised lineary to collector area. 2) If the heating area has equivalent solar collector area, the solar energy utilization for space heating is over 90%. 3) Transmittance- absorptance product for radiation at normal incidence, (${\tau}{\alpha}$)/(${\tau}{\alpha}$)n, during most of the heating season is 0.92 for a two-cover collector. 4) Orientation of the collector has little effect on the annual performance of solar heating system within the $15^{\circ}$.

  • In this study, heating performance and energy consumption characteristics with control strategies for central heating system were researched by the simulation. The simulation analysis is made by TRNSYS ver. 15 with the actual data. The parametric study on proportional factor, control time interval and outdoor air temperatures changes were done to compare control characteristics and energy performance, respectively. As a result, the simulation results with various parameter changes show good heating performance and energy saving.

신재생에너지분야 전문가의 지불의사액 조사 연구 (Willingness-to-pay for the Use of Renewable Energy by Experts)

  • This study uses contingent valuation method (CVM) to elicit willingness to pay monthly for electricity or heating produced by renewable energy (RE). The experts who participated in the conference of the Korean Society for New and Renewable Energy in May of 2008 were asked to answer the questionnaires: how much would you be willing to pay monthly to receive electricity (or heating) generated by RE? We find some evidence that the respondents have higher willingness to pay for RE electricity than RE heating even if the average electric bills were lower than the heating bills. The respondent who belongs to a large family and has a good opinion of RE tends to show high willingness to pay for both RE electricity and RE heating.

  • Purpose: Since September 1st, 2013, subjects of the evaluation have been expanded, and the evaluation standard has been detailed to enable Building energy rating system for all buildings. Accordingly, the new evaluation program (ECO2) has been developed, and therefore, apartment applied after September 1st, 2013 were evaluated with the new evaluation program. Therefore, this research suggests the improvement plan to figure out reasons for the evaluation result calculation and to calculate the evaluation results close to the actual energy usage by analyzing and comparing primary energy consumption as a result of the new evaluation program (ECO2) and actual heating energy usage on the same building. Method: When comparing evaluation results of the new evaluation program (ECO2) and actual heating energy usage, the tendency was similar but different. Also when comparing seasonally, the tendency was similar, but the different between actual heating energy usage and primary energy consumption during winter is greater than during spring or fall, and when comparing seasonal electric usage, heating alternatives were used through increased electrical usage during winter compared to during spring or fall. Result: Therefore, when evaluating apartment with the new program (ECO2) in the future, evaluation items relevant to the use of heating alternatives should be added, and the modification factor should be added according to the region. Based on the evaluation results of the research and actual energy usage, the Modification factors of the central part and the southern part were calculated respectively as 0.5 and 0.8.

  • The experimental implementation for different heating systems, district heating and separate heating and power, is discussed in the analysis of the characteristics of energy-usage in apartment complex. Total 20 families are chosen for the experiment, 10 for the district heating and the others for separate heating and power. Among the 10 families, the operating temperature was forced to be controled within certain range of temperatures for 5 ones, and it was left as usual for the other ones. The configuration and general features of each facilities and data acquisition systems are mentioned in brief and the technical specifications for it are also described. The analysis for the experiment results of this investigation is going to be carried out and published in a subsequent paper.

액체식 태양열난방계통에 관한 연구 (A Study on the liquid Type Solar Heating System)

  • The three years Performance of a liquid type solar heating system has been determined for a system which has been determined for a system which has been operating continuously since 1976 in Seoul with no serious maintenance. A flat plate collector is used to transform incident solar radiation into thermal energy. This energy is stored if the form of sensible energy and used as needed to supply the space heating loads. An electric auxiliary heaters are provided to supply energy for space heating load when the energy in the storage tank is depleted. The ratio of useful collected solar heat divided by the total solar radiation on the collector was obtained about 84 per cent. It is also obtained the relation between ratio of solar collector area to the heating area and the ratio of useful collected solar energy to the heating load for the useful design data. A comparison between the measured and simulated results with the solar space heating system is described. Hour by hour simulation is made on unsteady state basis using the system parameters and meteorological data at the experiment site. The result of comparison turned out satisfactory for the solar heating system, though the simulation was formed somewhat higher than by experimental.

  • We have researched on controlling an electron temperature and a plasma collision frequency to study the effect of collisions on helicon plasmas. So, we have designed and constructed an electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) heating system in the helicon device as an auxiliary heating source. Since then, we have tried to optimize experimental designs such as a magnetic field configuration for ECR heating and 2.45GHz microwave launching system for its power transfer to the plasma effectively, and have characterized plasma parameters using a Langmuir probe. For improving an efficiency of the ECR heating with R-wave in the helicon plasma, we would understand an effect of R-wave propagation with ECR heating in the helicon plasma, because the efficiency of ECR heating with R-wave depends on some factors such as electron temperature, electron density, and magnetic field gradient. Firstly, we calculate the effect of R-wave propagation into the ECR zone in the plasma with those factors. We modify the magnetic field configuration and this system for the effective ECR heating in the plasma. Finally, after optimizing this system, the plasma parameters such as electron temperature and electron density are characterized by a RF compensated Langmuir probe.

  • The aim of this study was to analysis the Heating/cooling performance of Solar Window built in apartments. The solar window is the idea to integrate daylight as a third form of solar energy into a PV/Solar Collector system and allows more control due to the possibility to close the reflectors. However, there can be a conflict between the desire for on one hand daylight and view and on the other hand optimal energy conversion for the PV/Solar Collector system. The process of this study is as follows: 1) The Solar Window system is designed through the investigation of previous paper and work. 2)The simulation program(ESP-r, Therm5.0, Window6.0) was used in Heating/cooling performance analysis. The reference model of simulation was made up to analysis Heating/cooling performance on Solar Window. 3)Selected reference model(Floors:15, Area of Unit:$148.5m^2$) for heating energy analysis, Energy performance simulation with various variants, such as U-value of Solar Window system according to its position and angle. Consequently, When Solar Window system is equipped with balcony window of Apartment, Annual heating and cooling energy of reference model was cut down about 5%~11%.
