This research is based upon the nursing statistical data published by the Institute of Nursing Policy in 2007, on behalf of Korea nursing association. We analyzed the problems on the healthcare human resources supply in Korea. We suggest that a solution is to adopt immigration policy for foreign workforce employment. The result of the research shows that more than 1,000 nurses are registrated every year except for 2004, according to the yearly status of healthcare jobs. The variance of doctors' registration was quite significant. Compared to 750 registrations in 2004, 4000 doctors were registered in 2002. The healthcare accounts for the property of citizens in terms, which represents the health and lives of everyone, so the country must take all measures to supply the healthcare services in need. Focusing on the underdeveloped region where it is difficult to approach the medical services, the foreign workforce could be added into the healthcare profession field. We conclude that employing foreign healthcare professionals will contribute to the improvement of lives in those people living in underdeveloped region, as well as unity of the local community.

This study aims to analyze the quality and satisfaction of healthcare perceived by patients using hospitals and to provide basic data necessary for expanding and settling Vietnamese healthcare services by analyzing the impact on recommendation intentions. The research method selected one hospital in Vietnam and collected data from patients using the hospital and used a total of 286 effective samples as data for hypothesis verification. The research model and hypothesis verification were analyzed with the statistical data from SPSS and AMOS. The findings show that, first, tangibility, accessibility, and reliability all have a positive effect on the quality of healthcare. Second, it has been shown that only accessibility among the quality of healthcare has a positive effect on recommendation intentions. Third, customer satisfaction has been shown to have a positive effect on recommendation intentions. Fourth, when looking at the mediating effect, reliability among the quality of healthcare was shown as a full-mediated effect, but accessibility was shown to have a partial mediating effect and tangibility to have no mediating effect. Contact management is important because customer satisfaction is highly regarded when customers feel positive emotions at the interface from the provision of convenience facilities that support medical services to the reduction of waiting time for patients, employees kindness, treatment, medication, and inspection. It is also confirmed that the demand for convenient and rapid use of hospitals is increasing in Vietnam. In addition, if customer satisfaction is increased through friendly medical staff's response, the intention of recommendation will be even greater.

This study aims to develop strategic plan for enactment of national license of hospital administrators. To effectively control healthcare cost and mange healthcare organizations, the enactment is an inevitable process. Based on literature reviews, cases of similar licences in advanced foreign countries, and a survey of 200 experts in healthcare fields, this study provide a strategic map how to proceed the enactment.

Over the last few years knowledge management has become more and more impotant part of the in healthcare practices. The medical industries are integrated with information technology with mobile devices and wireless communication. The advent of mobile healthcare systems can benefit patients and hospitals, by not only providing better quality of patient care, but also by reducing administrative and medical costs for both patients and hospitals. Security issues present an interesting research topic in wireless and pervasive healthcare networks. As information technology is developed, many organizations such as government agencies, public institutions, and corporations have employed an information system to enhance the efficiency of their work processes. For the past few years, healthcare organizations throughout the world have been adopting health information systems (HIS) based on the wireless network infrastructure. As a part of the wireless network, a mobile agent has been employed at a large scale in hospitals due to its outstanding mobility. Several vulnerabilities and security requirements related to mobile devices should be considered in implementing mobile services in the hospital environment. Secure authentication and protocols with a mobile agent for applying ubiquitous sensor networks in a healthcare system environment is proposed and analyzed in this paper.

Data and network security for e-Healthcare Systems are a primary concern due to the easiest deployment area accessibility of the sensor devices. Furthermore, they are often interacting closely in cooperation with the physical environment and the surrounding people, where such exposure increases security vulnerabilities in cases of improperly managed security of the information sharing among different healthcare organizations. Hence, healthcare-specific security standards such as authentication, data integrity, system security and internet security are used to ensure security and privacy of patients' information. This paper discusses security threats on e-Healthcare Systems where an attacker can access both data and network using masquerade attack. Moreover, an efficient and cost effective approach for countermeasures is discussed for the delivery of secure services.

최근 IT 패러다임은 인터넷 중심에서 인간과 사물, 컴퓨터가 융합되는 기술로 급속히 전환되고 있다. 이를 위해 인간과 사물, 사물과 사물 사이 네트워크화를 위해서 RFID/USN 분야가 핵심 IT 산업군으로 형성되고 있다. USN을 활용한 다양한 서비스 가운데 u-Healthcare는 큰 사회적 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 u-Healthcare system의 원활한 활용을 위해서는 u-Healthcare system을 지원하는 미들웨어(Middleware)에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미들웨어의 기능 중 센서(Sensor)를 통해 획득한 데이터의 정확성을 높이는 방법에 초점을 두었다. 이를 위하여 멀티 스레드(Multi Thread)방법을 u-Healthcare 미들웨어에 적용하여 다양한 어플리케이션에서 요구하는 개별 데이터의 정확성을 향상 시키는 방안을 연구하였다.

Recently, the smart healthcare industry that grafted the Internet of Things (IoT) onto the healthcare and medical services is being highlighted. Smart healthcare refers to the healthcare and medical services offered on the basis of information communication technologies including application, wearable devices and platforms, etc. The number of next generation smart healthcare devices are increasing in the smart healthcare industry through the combination of information technology (IT) and Bio Technology (BT), which are the most active areas among the 6T, which are the areas of the next generation industry. With the emergence of a diverse range of smart healthcare systems or devices, whether the smart healthcare system can be linked with other systems organically and the security and quality of the system have become important elements of evaluation. In this Study, the characteristics and service types of smart healthcare systems were examined, and the trends in the technology and industry of the smart healthcare system were analyzed. Moreover, this Study aims to develop the evaluation method for security and standards for quality evaluation by deducing the factors for the evaluation of smart healthcare system on the basis of the results of aforementioned examination. It is anticipated that this can induce improvement of quality and development of highly reliable products of a smart healthcare system, and will become the core technology to substitute the technology protection barrier.

Medical tourism in Korea has been rapidly grown for last couple of years, based on exclusive support from Korean government. About 60,000 foreign patients received medial services in 2009, an initial stage of entering medical tourism business, and the number of foreign patients received medical services in Korea hiked to more than 266 thousands in 2014, which is showing 34.7% of annual average increase between 2009 and 2014. Diversification of target markets and service areas contributed on this remarkable growth. This paper describes current status of medical tourism in Korea as well as various supports from government for the growth of medical tourism. In addition, the paper presents approaches for brand marketing, by utilizing 7Ps, the marketing mix (a.k.a. service mix), in order to increase awareness and competitiveness of medical services of Korea in global market.
