This study aims to investigate and analyze the utilization perception of members of head families based on a survey on the history, folklore, architectural resources of head families. In order to identify the direction of utilization of Jeonnam head family resources, tangible and intangible resources, and spaces and places to contain programs were researched. The results of the study were summarized as follows. 1) Head family houses in Jeonnam could be categorized into head families that preserved the original form of head family houses, head families that preserved a part of head family houses, head families that newly built head family houses while the original forms thereof have disappeared, and relocated head families of which eldest grandsons no longer reside, where only the sites of the head family houses remain or relocated to a different place. 2) In the case of perception of members of head families on the utilization of head family resources, 27 head families consented to the utilization, 35 head families opposed to the utilization, and 6 head families were undecided on the utilization out of a total of 68 head families. 3) The results of investigating and analyzing the desired type of programs of each head family by categorizing the programs into lodging, food, meditation, education, and tourism, as many as four programs were desired, while some families desired 2 or 3 programs at the lowest, showing an overlapping characteristic.
許浚(Heo Jun), the best physician on his day, wrote 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam, 1613) based on his clinical experience as a court doctor and life-long study of over 500 medical books. Now most clinicians consult 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam) for its practicality. And it is also considered as one of the most valuable medical books for basic medical studies. As 許浚(Heo Jun) mentioned on the 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam) preface. we should practice flexibility on the interpretation of the medical classics instead of binding ourselves to the precedents. But worship of 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam) may hinder the studying of new pathways. The treatment and its understandings of a disease should be based on objectivity of observation. Finding the common traits of the recipes in 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam) is important for the study of 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam). Accordingly, group synthesis of symptoms and resultant classification of recipes are vital. In this research, symptoms listed in the head part(頭門) of External Shape vol. I(外形篇 卷1) of 東醫寶鑑(DongEuiBoGam) are synthesized into 3 different parts: head-wind syndrome(頭風證), dizziness(眩暈), headache(頭痛). Classification of prescriptions according to these 3 parts is also suggested.
This study aimed to verify the criteria of the driver monitoring systems proposed by UNECE ACSF informal working group and the ministry of land, infrastructure, and transport of South Korea using driving behavior data. In order to verify the criteria, we investigated the safety regulations of driver monitoring systems in a conditional autonomous vehicle and found that the driver monitoring measures were related to eye blinks times, head movements, and eye closed duration. Thus, we took two different experimental data including real-world driving and simulator-based drowsy driving behaviors in previous studies. The real-world driving data were used for analyzing blink times and head movement intervals, and the drowsiness data were used for eye closed duration. In the real-world driving study, 52 drivers drove approximately 11.0 km of rural road (about 20 min), 7.9 km of urban road (about 25 min), and 20.8 km of highway (about 20 min). The results suggested that the appropriate number of blinks during the last 60 seconds was 4 times, and the head movement interval was 35 seconds. The results from drowsy driving data will be presented in another paper - part 2.
A Go-go-kwan is a particular hat which has worn by married woman in Mongol and Yuan dynasty in China. It is also widely called as a Boktak in Mongol. The Go-go-kwan, recorded in jip-sa and in the miniature painting of 14th century is the early type of go-go-kwan. Later type can be seen from the relic collections of Gyeonggi Provincial Museum in Korea. The Go-go-kwan is composed with three parts ; feather part, tube part and hat part. Among the feathers, the largest one is as long as four times of the length of the tube and the shortest one is half the length of the tube. The tube is made of light weight wood such as white birch or bamboo, and covered with silk. Some of the hats were made exactly to fit on the head whereas others were designed to wear on the head as like jobawi.
This study proposes the analysis and evaluation method of time series ultrasonic signal using the attractor analysis. Features extracted from time series signal analyze quantitatively characteristics of weld defects. For this purpose, analysis objective in this study is fractal dimension and attractor quadrant feature. Trajectory changes in the attractor indicated a substantial difference in fractal characteristics resulting from distance shifts such as parts of head and flange even though the types of defects are identified. These differences in characteristics of weld defects enables the evaluation of unique characteristics of defects in the weld zone. In quantitative fractal feature extraction, feature values of 3.848 in the case of part of head(crack) and 4.102 in the case of part of web(side hole) and 3.711 in the case of part of flange(crack) were proposed on the basis of fractal dimensions. Proposed attractor feature extraction in this study can enhance the precision rate of ultrasonic evaluation for defect signals of rail weld zone such as side hole and crack.
This paper presents observer-based on-line overload monitoring scheme for a PMSM(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) drive system. Proposed scheme is to monitor overload status of motor drive system at remote place. The drive system is previously installed on main system and has no communication function. Proposed scheme consists of intelligent sensing head and monitoring part. Intelligent sensing head acquire motor 3-Phase currents and transmit data to monitoring part over serial communication interface. Monitoring part estimates motor speed using state observer. By comparing estimated speed with reference speed, we can detect motor fault. In this scheme observed information must coded and transmitted over a digital communication channel with finite capacity. We consider communication constraint as time delay and we design discrete-time observer. The proposed scheme is tested on the actual drive system.

Features extracted from time series signal analyze quantitatively characteristics of welding defects. For this purpose, analysis objective in this study is fractal dimension and attractor Quadrant feature. The purpose of this study was to investigate the stress distribution and the displacement in the temporomandibular joints following the teeth loss patterns. The three dimensional finite element method was used for a mathematical model. The finite element model was composed of 1,632 elements and 2,411 nodes in the mandible with articular disc and mandibular fossa of the temporal bone. The masseter, the temporal and the internal pterygoid muscle forces were applied at each insertion site, bisecting point of gonion and antegonion, tip of the coronoid process, and gonion at the ration of 2:2:1 respectively. The directions of muscles force were obtained from frontal and lateral cephalometric tracings using bony landmarks of the skull. The results were as follows : 1. In control model, the minimum principal stresses were concentrated on the region of anterosuperior part of the condyle head and articular disc, and maximum principal stresses on the anterior part of the condyle head and posterolateral part of the articular disc. 2. In case of unilateral teeth loss, the greater principal stress appeared at the teeth loss side and the principal stresses increased at the teeth loss side as the number of the posterior teeth loss went up. 3. In case of bilateral teeth loss, the principal stresses were greater than those of the control model and as the number of the posterior teeth loss increased, the grater principal stresses on the temporomandibular joints appeared at the both side. 4. When the posterior teeth existed bilateral, the principal stress patterns were similar to those of the control model. 5. The displacement ws directed mainly upward and backward in the upper part of the temporomandibular joints and upward and forward in the largest part of the condyle head. The displacement increased as the number of the posterior teeth loss went up.

The landmark-based morphometric and meristic analysis of the kelp grouper (Epinephelus bruneus), red spotted grouper (E. akaara) and seven-banded grouper (E. septemfasciatus) were performed to compare the differentiation of overall body shape and structure. The measurements of the morphometric dimensions were observed in 25 parts (truss dimension: 16 parts; head part dimension: 9 parts) of 38 morphometric dimensions and also meristic differences observed in 3 parts (dorsal fin, anal fin and caudal fin) of 6 meristic counts (P < 0.05). Observed morphometric characteristics primarily involved in truss and head part dimension, kelp grouper have larger values in caudal part of truss dimension, kelp grouper, red spotted grouper and seven-banded grouper have similar values in pectoral part of truss dimension, in addition to, results of head part dimension showed that red spotted grouper have smaller values in overall dimensions (P < 0.05). As meristic characteristics, kelp grouper have more number of anal fin rays than other fish, red spotted grouper have more number of dorsal soft rays than other fish, and seven spotted grouper have more number of anal soft rays, and caudal fin rays than other fish (P < 0.05). Photographed under the x-ray, kelp grouper have the most curved vertebral column and largest swim bladder than other fishes (P < 0.05). Our results of this study confirmed that 3 subfamily fishes adequately can distinguish with external body shape, and we hope that the results of our study could be used to identify in Serranidae family as taxonomical parameters.
