Examined a practical use possibility of paper fly ash that is industrial by-product as a stabilization/hardening agent. Performed unconfined compression test, scanning electron microscopy and pH analysis etc. for 100% paper fly ash-soil mixtures and each paper fly ash-soil mixtures that add cement as the second addition and sulfate component of small quantity for strength promotion and so on. In all cases, strength of admixtures increased according as curing time and mixing ratio increases but almost strength is revealed at mixing early and expressed maximum strength increase efficiency at mixing ratio 9% with raw soil. Compare with the case that use paper fly ash only, in case of cement amount 10~30% was included in paper fly ash, strength of admixtures increases two times and 40% was included, that increases from five to eight times.
This research investigates the effects of shrinkage reducing agent (SRA) on the mechanical behavior of strain-hardening cement composite (SHCC). SHCC material with specified compressive strength of 50 MPa was mixed and tested in this study. All SHCC mixes reinforced with volume fraction of 2.2% polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber and test variables are type and dosage of shrinkage reducing agents. The shrinkage reducing materials used in this study are phase change material as the thermal stress reducing materials that have the ability to absorb or release the heat. The effect of SRA was examined based on the change in length caused by shrinkage and hardened mechanical properties, specially compressive, tensile and flexural behaviors, of SHCC material. It was noted that SRA reduces change in length caused by shrinkage at early age. SRA can also improve the tensile and flexural strengths and toughness of SHCC material used in this study.

Among the sewage pipes installed in Korea, the length of concrete pipes exceeding 20 years is 66,334 km (42.5%). Deteriorated concrete sewer pipes need to be repaired due to the leakage of internal sewage, which causes problems such as sink holes by expanding the cavity around the pipeline. In this study, we tried to apply anti-washout underwater mortar with ultra rapid hardening cement and segregation reducing agent to sewage pipe repair. As a result of the setting time test, the final set time was delayed by up to 172% by incorporating segregation reducing agent. In the test for measuring the degree of mortar segregation in water, it was measured at pH 12 or less under all mixing conditions. In addition, the suspension amount was measured to be 50 mg / l or less to satisfy the KCI-AD102 standard by incorporating a segregation reducing agent. In terms of the average value of mortar compressive strength, by incorporating segregation reducing agent, the strength of the specimens produced in air was more than 80% of that of the specimens produced in water. Conversely, the bond strengths of the specimens produced in water were measured to be higher than those of the specimens produced in air. Water resistance was evaluated by measuring water absorption and water permeability. Water absorption and water permeability were reduced by 42.6% and 36.6%, respectively, by mixing segregation reducing agent.
According to previous paper, the hardness of semi-solid as ointments and suppositories causes the tough or skin, the pain and connected with absorption, the state of spread or the efficiency of drug. When the hardening agent or the softening agent is added to ointment whid, is registered on the pharmacopeia of the republic of Korea, the experimertal data by apparent logarithmic hardness are shown is Table 1. The results are as the folloring. 1) In case of the softening agent which is added to ointment base, each has shown two different equation with differnented slope as $K_1$ and $K_2$ value determined (Fig. 1,2). 2) When the hardening agent is added to same ointment base, these studies indicated that there is a direct correlation between $K_1$ and $K_2$. However, in case of softening agent $K_1$ and $K_1$ are not correlated as indicated in Fig. $3{\sim}8$. 3) On condition of same ointment base, the critical poit is proportional to $K_1$ 4) The second effect is at least $3{\sim}17$ times more. sensitive than the first effect or in average 8.3 times more sensitive, Therefore, the results presented in this paper. Suggest that, when the drug is added to a certain ointment base, it should be added within this first effect before the critical point is reached.
The hardening system of polyurethanes has usually caused by air pollution. bad working condition and fire hazard according to using orgarnic solvents. Therefore there have been researched on emulsion, water soluble and colloid-dispersion based water soluble instead of using organic solvents recently. This study synthesized polyurethane dispersing particle by means of mixing precursor and neutralized emulsion method. In the first step, polyurethane was preparated from isophorone diisocyanate and poly (ethylene-adipate) glycol, and got precursor by introducing dimethyl propionic acid as a hydrophilic group. Synthesized polyurethane was bonded to the surface of fiber and crosslinked as a anti-static agent, and then looked for the change of color and softening property.

In this study, the MMA-modified paste mixed waste rubber powder, which has a small elastic modulus and a large modification, was produced by using the soft unsaturated polyester resin(UP) as a binder. Then the adhesive properties according to the matrices in both underwater and air-dry conditions and the hardening shrinkage according to the contents of shrinkage reducing agent(SRA) and of MMA were surveyed. The experimental results show that, regardless of humidity of matrices the adhesive strength of polymer concrete was larger than cement concrete. the adhesive strength of MMA content of 20% was larger than MMA content of 30%. regardless of matrix materials the adhesive strength in water condition were $20{\sim}30%$ comparing with the air-dry condition. The case of MMA content of 20% showed the largest adhesive strength. In the hardening shrinkage experiment, the hardening shrinkage reduced as MMA and SRA contents increased, and the decrease of the hardening shrinkage by SRA was larger.
Construction materials using soil which is the most common material around us have many advantages, but their long-term durability and sensation of walking as pavements have problems. Therefore, they are used after compaction or mixed with various hardening agents such as lime and cement for strength enhancement. However, studies on the behavior of pavement materials mixed with environment-friendly hardening agents or admixtures to improve walking property are still insufficient. In this study, therefore, in order to evaluate the appropriate mixing ratio and field application characteristics of pavement materials using mixed soils with environment-friendly hardening agents and natural materials such as wood chips, mechanical tests were performed to evaluate the rational mixing ratios and the ball test was performed as an elasticity test to evaluate the field applicability. The results suggest that the content of wood chips should be selected at 1.5% or lower according to the purpose of the structure, and the hardening agent at 10~15%. The evaluation results for GB/SB coefficient ratio which indicates the walking property show that the appropriate mixing ratio of the hardening agent in terms of the sensation of walking is 15% of lower, but different mixing ratios should be chosen according to the proportion of wood chips.
The effects of polymer-cement ratio, antifoamer content and shrinkage-reducing agent content on the air content, setting time, drying shrinkage and strength of polymer-modified mortars using redispersible polymer powder are examined. As a result, the air content of the polymer-modified mortars using redispersible polymer powder tend to decrease with increasing polymer-cement ratio and antifoamer content. Regardless of the antifoamer content, the setting time of the polymer-modified mortars using redispersible polymer powder tend to delayed with increasing polymer-cement ratio. Irrespective of the antifoamer content, the drying shrinkage of the polymer-modified mortars using redispersible polymer powder tend to decrease with increasing polymer-cement ratio and shrinkage-reducing agent content. Regardless of the antifoamer content, the flexural and tensile strengths of the ultrarapid-hardening polymer-modified mortars using redispersible polymer powder tend to increase with increasing polymer-cement ratio, and tend to decrease with increasing shrinkage-reducing agent content. However, the compressive strength of the ultrarapid-hardening polymer-modified mortars using redispersible polymer powder decrease with increasing polymer-cement ratio and shrinkage-reducing agent content.
Recently, there has been an increasing number of ground subsidence (sink-hole) in the downtown areas, and in such a case, it is important to minimize accidents and passages through prompt recovery. With respect to the present recovery method for ground subsidence, the methods of applying the back filling after excavating the ground subsidence or using the grouting injected materials to restore the ground are mostly used, but there has been few studies on materials used for recovering the ground subsidence. Therefore, in order to clarify the characteristics of back filling materials used in the ground subsidence, this study uses the environment-friendly hardening agent to improve the dredged clay, and then, the mixture ratio of hardening agent and mixture ratio of decomposed granite soil is changed to cure for 3, 7, 14 and 28 days to analyze the intensity characteristics of the unconfined compression, and it was compared with the unconfined compression intensity for the previously used cement, a hardening agent. In order to evaluate the characteristics of intensity on the back filling materials, the C.B.R test was carried out, and for the review on whether the back filling materials influence on corrosion of water and sewer pipes and others, the soil non-resistance test was carried out. As a result of the test, for the case of the recovery work of the ground subsidence that requires urgency, it is considered as prudent if the hardening agents of 12% are integrated to cure for 3 days or longer, and for not having the influence on the corrosion of the gas tube or water pipes, it is proposed to mix for 30% or more of the decomposed granite soil. Door model test were conducted To confirm the bearing capacity characteristics of the solidified layer.
