In this paper, the u-Service system that is based on location-aware technology is designed and implemented for a silver town. On the real silver town the developed system has been employed and tested to provide convenient and secure living for residents. It provides services such as emergency call, intelligent elevator operation, and hands-free door access based on the location of the residents with personal device as called smart tag. It can also be applied to other service areas such as the location-aware u-Service for hospital, high-rising complex building, APT, etc.

Raynaud attempted to clarify the situation concerning symmetrical and spontaneous gangrene in a thesis published in 1952. The disease was defined as Raynaud`s phenomenon without associated and contributing conditions or disease, and described as two types, such as, `locale syncope and asphyxia` and `gangrene`. Predilection of Raynaud`s disease for female under 40 years of age wi-thout any vascular occlusive disease beginning in the early decades of life and typical color changes in the skin of the extremities incited by coldness are outstanding features in this disease. One typical case of Raynaud`s disease is presented with relating references. Patient was 24 year old female single patient, who noted pain, numbness, and cyanosis of the finger tips of both hands for 6 years previously in the winter season, and recently such symptoms were aggravated including her both feet for two years even in the summer after exposure to cold water. Physical and laboratory examination revealed nothing specific except slightly glistening tight face and hypertrophy of both finger tips with clammy coldness. FamiliaI and past history revealed nothing specific abnormal contributory factors. Biopsy of skin on the dorsum of right foot one year before this admission revealed no evidence of scleroderma. Treatment was aimed to relieve vasospasmodic reaction to coldness and was very successful with bilateral lumbar and thoracic sympathectomy. Patient is free of symptoms relating to the Raynaud’s phenomenon after sympathectomy for 6 months including winter season.

The function of the thumb is critical to overall hand function. The thumb enables motions such as pinch, grip, fine manipulation and allows to circumduction and opposition. It's loss is a serious problem not only from cosmetic point of view but also functional. Therefore, we should make every effort on thumb reconstruction. Many methods of thumb reconstruction from simple osteoplasty to complex microsurgical reconstruction have been reported. We should understand merits and demerits of each method and choose proper method on case by case. When both hands are injured and there is no option but to amputate one hand and the thumb of another hand is lost, spare part flap from the thumb of the amputated hand to another hand can solve cosmetic problem, functional problem and donor morbidity. We report a case of amputated thumb which has been reconstructed with amputated ring finger of the contralateral hand using spare part flap concept.

Purpose: Malignant soft tissue tumors, known as sarcomas, are well known to be locally aggressive, frequently metastatic, and highly recurrent. In other hands, intermediate soft tissue tumors often recur locally with adjacent tissue infiltration so the clinical management is difficult as sarcoma. In the present study, we evaluate the clinical course of the intermediate soft tissue tumors and consider the management plan for those. Methods: From March, 1998 to April 2008, total 3 patients of intermediate soft tissue tumors underwent operations. A patient with fibrohistiocytic neoplasm, a free flap reconstruction was performed, and he underwent several more operations because of recurrences. Other patients with desmoids - type fibromatosis showed local invasion and adhesion, and one of them underwent reoperation due to local recurrence. Results: 2 of 3 patients underwent recurrences of tumors and reoperations were performed. In another patient with no recurrence, follow-up period was just 5 months, so there may be recurrence of tumor in long term follow-up. Conclusion: The clinical course of intermediate soft tissue tumors shows high recurrence rate. So clinically, intermediate soft tissue tumors should be considered as sarcomas. The successful management requires wide resection, carefully planned reconstruction, and close follow up with radiologic evaluation.

Angiography means that a check up to know an abnormal condition in all the blood vessels include from the heart, aortae, cerobrovascular and abdonominal artery to hands and feet. Main examples of this are cerebral angiography, abdominal, liver for urinary anomaly, renovascular angiography, and artery and vein in arms and legs. Angiography uses radial rays or angiography equipment for an image output during interventional procedure and compositive diagnosis. The acts which performed in a projection room have changed drastically. In general, it is performed by using equipment which is attached one or two C-arms and the method of inserting catheter in vein after anesthesia. For this reason, some rooms that consist of angiography room units should be planned not only for expensiveness equipment and facilities also to be germ-free. Nowadays, in the angiography unit case, it is placed independently as the central part of many hospitals. It does not belong to the imaging medical department any more as considering raising filming times and the relation between C.C.U.(coronary care unit) and operation unit. This means the acts performed are diversified and well-organized rooms in support of diagnosis are required. However, it is difficult to plan the angiography room unit due to domestic researches and data on this unit are not enough. Therefore, this study aims at bringing up basic issue for architectural planning of the angiography unit in general hospital.

JPEG is good for full color representation but is poor in quality of image because of the small size and the losing compression ways. GIF is a kind of format style made for image - transmission in Compuserve which is a method of PC communication in U. S. A and now is used in world wide web owing to the efficiency of file compression and transmission. But GIF only is used 256 colors, so the images in web has a poorer quality of colors effect to be compared with those of printed catalogues. Also there can be licence problems when the images is used for commercial uses because the possession is Compuserve. The PNG is a way that the total advantages of JPEG and GIF. PNG image file is a more skillful (bitmap display unit), shows a high quality image like TIFF image about, gives superior compression , a 10% to 30% represents full color, 256 color, gray like JPEG. GIF file which uses LZW compression file is a thing which pays licence, In other hands, PNG is free from licence and more skillful image processing method against image error, and it is possible to conserve the color information. Therefore, this treatise is about how various images which are utilized for commercial printings in web, can be made into PNG files about the compression file. And the representation of image by compared the G]U images with JPEG images as well as compression file and the representation of image the superiority of color representation. In addition, 1 check out how much ranges the PNG files are available for electronic publish printing.

Brief hypnotherapy with daily self-hypnosis was used to a 20-year-old male patient who had severe warts on the fingers of both hands for 6 years. He had had several dermatological treatments, including attempts to remove the warts with topical chemotherapy, but the warts had always recurred. During the hypnotic session, it was suggested that the warts would begin to feel cool and disappear with imaginary laser. He responded well to ideosensory suggestions and was free of the warts within 5 sessions. Inquiry after 7 months revealed that no recurrence had taken place. Finally, it is stimulating to think that harmony between mind and body involving cell-mediated immunity can intervene in conditioning the course of the skin diseases.

This paper proposes a wearable and motorized crutch control system for the patients using the conventional crutches. The conventional crutches have a few disadvantages such as the inconvenience caused by the direct contact between the ground and the armpit of the patients, and unstable gait patterns. In order to resolve these problems, the motorized crutch is designed as a wearable type on an injured lower limb. In other words, the crutch makes the lower limb to be moved forward while supporting the body weight, protecting the lower limb with frames, and rotating a roller equipped on the bottom of the frames. Also the crutch is controlled using the electromyography and two force sensing resistor (FSR) sensors. The electromyography is used to extract the walking intention from the patient and the FSR sensors to classify the stance and swing phases while walking. As a result, the developed crutch makes the patients walk enabling both hands to be free, as if normal people do.

This study is about internet marketing of family restaurant through marketing mix and we found out the way which can make to activate by means of analysis of family restaurant's homepage. This study was done as following precedure. First, we've compared between characteristic was based on contents distinctive quality of family restaurant's homepage through the marketing mix. And in the next step, we've compared and ana lysed homepage of family restaurant which was chosed by the internet surfing. In the last, we evaluate strategy of marketing mix which is going well in the each field of business and then research of the way can improve internet-marketing. We draw the findings which is seperated by goods, price, promotion, distribution, other service according to marketing constituents. As a result of study, it is found that each company has given much more weight on some part in internet marketing's field of activity. In general, they put an emphasis on activity of goods and promotion. On the other hands they don't consider prices and delivery to be important compared with other parts. One of the most important things about internet-marketing is that fast and exact feedback and community makes each firm to be able to help to communicate with customer. It's like off-line-restaurant make use of free-coupon and an anniversary service.
