Study about Practical Use of Radix Ginseng in Sanghanlon Based on Yakjing and Yoochuibang ((${\ll}$약징(藥徵)${\gg}$${\ll}$류취방(類聚方)${\gg}$을 통한 장중경(張仲景) ${\ll}$상한론(傷寒論)${\gg}$에서의 인삼(人蔘) 활용에 관한 고찰)

  • Traditionlly Radix Ginseng has been known to Qi-tonic medicine. Practically Radix Ginseng is listed in Shinnongbonchokyeong as the medicine for replenishing the Primordial-Qi, tranquilizing the mind and improving mental power. However, when we consider the text of prescriptions that contained Radix Ginseng in Jangjoongkyeong's Sanghanlon, Radix Ginseng had not been conjugated to replenish the Primordial-Qi. On the other hand, Yoshimasu todo had been taken up the position that Radix Ginseng in Sanghanlon was conjugated to treat Shimhabikyeong. Accordingly, author studied about practical use of Radix Ginseng in Sanghanlon based on Yakjing and Yoochuibang that Yoshimasu todo's writing. The result of study are summurized as follows. Jangjoongkyeong conjugated ginseng to treat Shimhabikyeong in Sanghanlon. The prescription that Shimhabikyeong was not mentioned is thought as it was omitted from the text. Jangjoongkyeong conjugated the bitter taste ginseng to treat Shimhabikyeong. Shimhabikyeong is abdominal diagnosis that the patient feel a subjectively blocked sensation and below the Kumi becomes hard as solid.

Compatibility of the Recycled Linerboard Made in Acid Sizing System under Neutral or Alkaline Papermaking Conditions (산성 사이징된 재활용 섬유와 중성 사이징의 상용성)

  • Neutral or alkaline papermaking provides many advantages in paper strength and processing conditions. It also provides the opportunity of using calcium carbonate fillers in papermaking. These diverse advantages have made almost all paper machines of printing and writing papers run under neutral and alkaline conditions. On the other hand, linerboard machines, which use recycled papers as a raw material, are running under acid conditions using a rosin sizing system. Because the recycled raw materials used by the linerboard industry contain significant amounts of alkaline papers, the linerboard industry has an interest in the possibility of using the neutral or alkaline papermaking opportunity. In this study, the compatibility of the recycled linerboards under neutral or alkaline papermaking conditions was examined by recycling them under various pH conditions. The sizing degree of the papers recycled under neutral or alkaline was significantly lower than that of acid formed papers indicating that during the neutral or alkaline recycling process the rosin sized papers lost their sizing efficiency. Recycling of acid formed linerboards under neutral or alkaline conditions increased the amount of foam, and the foam contained substantial amount of solid materials derived from the acid sizing systems. Use of cationic polyelectrolytes including PEI and poly-DADMAC improved the sizing degree of the recycled papers under neutral and alkaline conditions. PEI decreased the foam generation as well while poly-DADMAC did not show any reducing effect of the foam. These results suggest that PEI forms coordinate bonds with rosin acid and precipitate them onto the surface of recycled fibers, while the reaction products between poly-DADMAC and rosin acid ions still remain water soluble under neutral or alkaline conditions.

A GUI-based the Recognition System for Measured Values of Digital Instrument in the Industrial Site (GUI기반 산업용 디지털 기기의 측정값 인식 시스템)

  • In this paper, we proposed and implemented a GUI-based system to recognize and record measured values of digital instruments in the industrial site through image processing. Unlike the existing vehicle license plate recognition system, the measured values of the measuring instrument are displayed on the LCD screen as digital numbers. So, the proposed system considers the decimal point, a negative sign, light reflected by LCD protective glass, and various disturbance factors. We used blob-labeling technique to recognize the numbers displayed on the LCD screen, the recognized number images were determined as certain numbers through the template matching, and recognized values were recorded in the storage device with measurement time. Therefore, the proposed system in this paper would reduce the burden of writing when recording the measured values of the inside/outside diameter or height of the product in the industrial site, so effective and errorless process management in production process is possible by preventing errors in recording measurements when written by hand.

  • This study was investigated preschool the prinicipal and mother's agreed to the question sheet by writing mother's along with hand From April 3 distribute to May 30th 2006 collected. The Target was a part preschool childern between analysis Taegu city 242 persons and Gyeong-ju city 201 persons. The results were follows; 1. The most popular by the reason hungry eating of bewteen-meal intake. 2. The most popular by the choice motive of between-meal intake to mother's of admonition (Taegu city of 61.2%, Gyeong-Ju city of 63.7%.) 3. The most popular by the time of bewteenmeal intake to afternoon between evening (Taegu city of 90.5%, Gyeong-Ju city of 88.1%.) 4. The most popular by the place of between-meal intake to Taegu city and Gyeong-Ju city it's home.

Manufacture of Hwaseonji(Korean Traditional Paper) Using Various Kinds of Short-Length Fiber Pulps (각종 단섬유펄프를 이용한 화선지 제조)

  • Hwaseonji(Korean traditional paper) used for writing and painting has been made from the mulberry bast-fiber and the short-length fiber pulps, wood pulps. However, besides wood pulps, other short-length fiber pulps also can be used instead of wood pulps. Hence, this research was carried out to make the various Hwaseonjis with the different properties, using the five kinds of short-length fiber pulps respectively. The short-length fiber pulps used in this research were softwood bleached kraft pulp(SwBKP) hardwood bleached kraft pulp(HwBKP), rice-straw bleached sulfite pulp(RsBSP), bamboo bleached kraft pulp(BbBKP) and recycled pulp from vellem paper(RP). And, the mixture ratios of the mulberry bast-fiber pulp and short-length fiber pulps were 100:0, 80:20, 60:40, 40:60 and 20:80. After various Hwaseonjis were made from different mixtures mentioned above with hand-made method, physical properties and chinese ink blot property of each paper were measured. The strengthes were the highest in the Hwaseonji made from the mixture of the mulberry bast-fiber pulp and SwBKP. However, chinese ink blot property and smoothness were better when RsBSP, BbBKP or RP were mixed into the mulberry bast-fiber pulp. As a result, the various kinds of Hwaseonjis which the users can choose based on their needs were made.

Analysis of Graphic Design Trend in Fashion Design (패션 디자인에서 표현된 그래픽 디자인 트렌드에 관한 연구 -2004년~2006년을 중심으로-)

  • Brands started to manufacture consumer-oriented products and look for active methods to appeal their brands to consumers, in the 1990s. As a result, actively adopting graphic design to clothing designs has recently become an important strategy among others. Graphic design has important significance in contemporary fashion design in the aspect that it has expanded the range of expressive methods by bringing over expressive methods of visual design, and has led to an increase in sales due to consumer satisfaction, but it has been vaguely handled together with textiles design, and research on the topic has been insufficient. Therefore this study aimed to clearly define the idea of graphic design based on documentary research, and analyze applying case and formative features of graphic design expressed in clothing, through case studies from 2004 to 2006, and derive the trends of graphic design expressed in contemporary fashion design. The results of this study are as follows. The common characteristics of images that reflect recent graphic design trends in fashion design are hand writing and irregular composition, and images that actively pursued these pointes were retro and craft images, and modern and sporty images reflected these graphic design trends in a comparatively passive manner. It is important to maintain style differentiation rather than indiscreetly adopting graphic design trends to clothing, and to appropriately apply trend characteristics of fashion design and other design areas. Expressive methods of design are expected to expand through appropriate application and development of graphic design, and can potentially provide a new solution to brand differentiation.

A Critical Evaluation of the Concept and Writing of Learning Outcomes (학습성과의 개념과 작성에 대한 탐구)

  • Recent changes in educational paradigms that emphasize the performance or outcomes of education are redefining how learning objectives are being described as 'learning outcomes' in various academic disciplines. Medical education is not an exception to this trend. However, it has come to our attention that the key concepts and appropriate descriptions of learning outcomes have not been well understood among educators and that this lack of understanding has hindered our efforts to implement the practice in the field. This study aims to provide a direction to establish and describe learning outcomes by examining previous studies that have focused on setting learning objectives as well as learning outcomes. Setting and describing learning outcomes starts from reflection on the approach of behavioral learning objectives, which overemphasizes learner's acquired knowledge, skills, and attitude in each classroom rather than actual performance. On the other hand, the learning outcome approach focuses on what the learner is able to do as a result of a learning experience. This approach is more learner-friendly and encourages students to lead and be responsible for their learning process. Learning outcomes can best be described when the relevance of actual contexts and the hierarchy of learning objectives are considered. In addition, they should be in the form of context, task, performance, and level, as well as be planned with proper assessment and feedback procedures. When these conditions are met, the learning outcome approach is beneficial to students as it presents a curriculum that is more open to learners. Despite these advantages of the learning outcome approach, there is a possible concern that setting the learning outcomes and describing them can restrict evaluation to lower cognitive skills if the concept of learning outcome is narrowly interpreted or is set too low. To avoid such narrow applications, it is important for educators to understand the comprehensiveness of the learning outcome setting and to consider long-term outcomes embedded in an organizational vision rather than only short-term behavioral outcomes.

  • As the speed of social change consumers' buying patterns change, with an effective and competitive means of communication is an effort to find ads world. Characters have to maximize its own image, the character font used for the situation fits perfectly expressed in the formative Calligraphy differentiated pay plan as part of Calligraphy is considered. People feel in the hand by writing letters that can not be standardized as a strong symbol and symbolism, and the appeal and beauty, dynamic motion, mystery, and can be expressed. Design disciplines across all areas of Calligraphy extensive coverage, digital coolness of the hard preparation for the soft and warm lyricism analogue availability is required to meet contemporary needs. Media ads that emphasize the use of the Calligraphy emotional representation of the contents of the ads favorable to improve cognitive function, attention, recall of positive affect and, therefore, character-driven emotional expression as an art communications capabilities with one of the media is situated in the heart of the culture.

Hangul Input Method for Small Electronic Networking Devices (소형 정보통신 단말기를 위한 한글 입력 방법)

  • For a quick and easy way of writing Hangul in hand-held devices, we analyzed the combination rules of Hangul alphabets that we constructed a small set of Hangul alphabets that combines a whole set of Hangul alphabets. Hangul consonants are generated from base set of consonants with function keys and vowels are constructed from eight base set of vowels by combination rules and stroke-adding rules. Especially, we adopted an easy error-correction method to resolve the inconvenience of using a delete key for vowel harmony errors. Futhermore, we diversified the input method of diphthongs for user-friendliness by minimizing the efforts of teaming vowel combination rules. We compared our method with previous methods of 'Chon-Ji-In' and 'Na-Rat-Keul' that the proposed method is better than the previous methods in input speed and error correction functionality.

Effect of PVOH or polyDADMAC Addition on Surface Sizing with Oxidized Starch (PVOH와 polyDADMAC 첨가에 의한 산화전분의 표면사이징 효과 변화)

  • High loading of printing and writing grades with fillers has many advantageous aspects in papermaking because it allows decreasing fiber use and reducing manufacturing cost. High loading technology, however, has some disadvantageous aspects as well. It decreases physical properties of papers, especially strength properties. The problem associated with high loading can be reduced by applying surface sizing starch solution onto paper surface. It is important to control the penetration of the surface sizing starch solution into paper web to obtain the desired property improvement. In this study, the effect of the addition of two polymers into starch solution on paper properties has been examined. PVOH and polyDADMAC were used as polymeric additives for surface sizing with oxidized starch. Viscosity of starch solutions and surface roughness of dried starch films on glass slides showed that some interactions between polymeric additives and oxidized starch have been occurred and the most extensive interaction with starch solution was obtained with high molecular weight polyDADMAC. Low molecular weight PVOH was most effective in improving folding endurance and internal bond strength. On the other hand, polymer addition showed no effect on surface strength of paper. This indicates that not the level of starch holdout but the bonding strength of starch itself has predominant influence on surface strength of paper.
