A Study of Pause Positions in Korean Students' English Reading (끊어 읽기 오류 분석을 통한 영어 읽기 지도 방안 연구)

  • This study investigates pause positions of Korean students' reading of an English script. 12 natives speakers of English and 18 Korean students were asked to read The North Wind and the Sun. The common pause positions were determined by examining the pauses of the native speakers' readings. Korean students were asked to mark pauses on a script. And then they were trained to put pauses as native speakers of English do. Although some errors have been corrected after the training, others have not been corrected in Korean students' readings. Korean students made fewer errors in marking on the script than in reading the script. They seem to know where to put pauses, but lack of practice makes it difficult to put pause in the right positions when they read. That suggests that teachers should continue to teach students where to put pauses in their reading or speaking English.

  • 자바스크립트는 웹 페이지를 제어하기 위한 표준적인 스크립트 언어로 오랫동안 사용되어 왔다. 최근 웹 앱이나 서버사이드 응용 프로그램을 자바스크립트로 작성하게 되면서, 자바스크립트 프로그램을 더욱 빠르게 동작하도록 만드는 것이 중요한 이슈가 되었다. 본 논문에서는 암시적인 동적 타입 시스템을 사용하는 자바스크립트 언어에 Cartesian Product Algorithm을 적용하여 타입을 추론하고, 이 정보를 바탕으로 정적 타입 시스템인 C++ 코드로 변환하는 컴파일러의 구조와 알고리즘을 제시한다.

  • In this paper we implemented 3D contents based work process simulation for 3D view contents. For this the method of 3D view technique is explained. The automobiles and PC assembly processes according to the virtual scenario showed the technique which assists workers through 3D view. Also for 3D information visualization, max script of contents modeling functions using 3D MAX was developed. The functions are designed to customize coordinate, material edit on modeling, rendering, and 3D object files with max script.

  • In the monitoring system based on web service application, it is faced with the problems like code reproduction, difficult scalability and error recovery derived from the frequent change of data structure. So we propose a technique of monitoring system by DTD(Document Type Definition) automatic generation. This technique is to use dynamic server-side script to cope with the change of sensor data structure, generate the DTD dynamically. An it also adapt the AJAX(Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) for XML data parsing, it can support mass data transmission and exception processing for data loss and damage. This technique shows the result of recovery time is decreased about 44.8ms in case of temporary data failure by comparing to the conventional XML method.

  • In order to show the assembly process in detail, we used Script languages and it's simulation tried to do an automobile assembly process with 3D. 3D View techniques is the method of the optimum which helps the studying activity from industrial site. We developed 3D View in order to show a assembly process with 3D about engine part and tire part. Specially we experimented the user will be able to study actually using touch screen on the working.

  • In this paper, we are going to describe the performance characteristic of very high resolution image processing with WebCL on the web environment. In order to evaluate the variance of the execution time by WebCL, we modified the Pixastic library, one of the most representative image processing libraries written in JavaScript, by using WebCL. We achieved a speedup of up to 4.2 times and 2.8 times on average against the original one for the image of 8K Ultra HD with the WebCL-based library.

  • 본 논문에서는 동영상 미디어와 VRML, 그리고 컨텐츠를 웹 환경에서 Script를 이용하여 동적으로 상호 웹 프리젠테이션 시스템을 구현 할 수 있는 방법에 대해 연구한다. 동영상 데이터와 VRML, 그리고 컨텐츠의 정보를 자동화된 툴을 이용하여 동기화 정보와, 이벤트 정보를 XML 데이터로 정의한다. 그리고 XML 데이터를 기반으로 JavaScript와 VBScript를 이용하여 인터넷 환경에서 동적으로 동작하는 웹 프리젠테이션 시스템을 구현한다. 본 논문의 구현 결과를 바탕으로 다양한 컨텐츠의 정보를 XML로 정의하는 구현방법을 제시하고, 각각의 컨텐츠 간의 상호 유기적인 결합 및 동기화를 통해 웹 프리젠테이션의 효과를 높일 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

Development of Flood Routing Model in the Navigation Waterway to Support Operations of Weir and Flood Gate (가동보 및 배수문운영을 고려한 주운수로 홍수위 산정모형 구축)

  • HEC-RAS has been applied to simulate water level variation in the Ara waterway during the flood season. To support decision making necessary for operation of the hydraulic structures especially during the flood season, it is important to consider various factors such as water level of the Han River, Gulpo River, and tidal level of the west sea in conjunction with operation of the hydraulic structures such as the Gyulhyun Weir, the West sea gate, and pumping stations. Especially for operation of the west sea gate, the Rule-script option was employed to determine the opening height considering the variation of the water level in the waterway and the west sea simultaneously. For model verification, comparison of water level computed at the upstream and downstream of the regulation weir shows a good agreement with observed data measured during the flood event in September 2010. The HEC-RAS model developed in this study will contribute to support operation of the waterway during the flood season.

  • It is important matter to develop game that language should consider improving game development environment. It is hardly any language that is designed to develop a game. Most developer used general purpose programming language in these situations, and directly modeling with engine. For this reasons, developers cannot easily develop games and must programming on engine level. It is hard to develop a game in this environment that was not able to understand an engine well. Moreover, developer and planner want to use an abstracted high-level language on planner phase and are going to easily develop a game. It was not have communication tool between developer and planner. Therefore, we defined a script language for modeling based on abstract engine level. In addition, we did build IDE to develop game using abstracted high-level language. It was able to develop a game on high-speed development environment. Therefore, developer does not must develop with engine phase but can develop a game with planners. In addition, game planner and developer can use a communication tool because it is able to develop skeleton game.

  • 수 처리 분야의 통합시스템을 구현함에 있어 이기종 장비 간의 데이터 연계는 프로그래머의 통신 프로그래밍 작업으로 매번 개발을 하여하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이로 인해 시스템의 안정화에 많은 시간 및 인력이 투입되고 있다. 본 연구는 인터프리터 엔진을 활용하여 엔지니어가 엔지니어링 한 데이터 (통신 스크립트)를 번역, 해석, 자동동작 시켜 별도의 프로그래밍 작업(개발)없이 엔지니어링으로만 통합 시스템의 감시 및 제어를 구축 가능케 프로토콜 편집기를 개발 하여 신뢰성 높은 시스템을 구축키 위한 내용이다.
