Real-Time Compensation of Errors Caused by the Flux Density Non-uniformity for a Magnetically Suspended Sensitive Gyroscope

  • Magnetically suspended sensitive gyroscopes (MSSGs) provide an interesting alternative for achieving precious attitude angular measurement. To effectively reduce the measurement error caused by the non-uniformity of the air-gap flux density in a MSSG, this paper proposes a novel compensation method based on measuring and modeling of the air-gap flux density. The angular velocity measurement principle and the structure of the MSSG are described, and then the characteristic of the air-gap flux density has been analyzed in detail. Next, to compensate the flux density distribution error and improve the measurement accuracy of the MSSG, a real-time compensation method based on the online measurement with hall probes is designed. The common issues caused by the non-uniformity of the air-gap flux density can be effectively resolved by the proposed method in high-precision magnetically suspended configurations. Comparative simulation results before and after compensation have verified the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed compensation method.

Contribution of modification of a pressuremeter for an effective prediction of soil deformability

  • The difficulties, challenges and limitations faced in standard pressuremeter testing in the measurement of low soil deformations led a number of researchers to think about the possible modification of the equipment, and especially the replacement of the volumeter by a Hall Effect sensor. This article is a major contribution in this direction. It makes an attempt to detail the design, manufacture and operation of the new equipment. The calibration of the various components was carried out according to the rules presently in force. This proposal was applied, on an exploratory basis, to the data of a real site located in France. The authors present the preliminary results of some cyclic pressuremeter tests, previously carried out in the laboratory, on a sandy material, and they then provide a basic interpretation of these results. The findings indicated that the proposed apparatus is capable of providing high-quality information about constraints and deformations. Although these tests were performed within the laboratory, it was possible to analyze the power, quality, performance and insufficiencies of the proposed equipment.

This transformative role is central in today's technologically advanced landscape, addressing the needs of individuals with contemporary lifestyles. The development of intelligent sports gadgets is geared towards elevating overall quality of life by facilitating sports activities, workouts, and promoting health preservation. This categorization yields two primary types of devices: smart sports devices for exercise and smart health control devices, which encompass functionalities such as blood pressure monitoring and muscle volume measurement. Illustrative examples include smart headbands, smart socks, smart wristbands, and smart shoe soles. Significantly, the global market for smart sports devices has garnered substantial popularity among enthusiasts. Moreover, the integration of sensors within these devices has instigated a revolution in group and professional sports, facilitating the calculation of impact intensity and ball speed. The utilization of various types of smart sports equipment has proliferated, encompassing applications in both sports' performance and health monitoring across diverse demographics. This article conducts an assessment of the application of nanotechnology in the continuous modeling of the magnetic electromechanical sensor integrated within smart shoe soles, with a specific emphasis on its implementation in soccer training. The exploration delves into the nuanced intersection of nanotechnology and sports equipment, elucidating the intricate mechanisms that underlie the transformative impact of these advancements.

  • We have all heard sounds that did not sound "right" while riding in an automobile. Objectionable sounds are difficult to find and understand because the sound field is complex and dynamic in the near field of an automobile. Many different noise sources and transmission paths must be understood before an engineering change can be recommended. This paper reviews the fundamental characterization of sound and chscusses the Sound Intensity measurement technique. Sound intensity measurements locate sources and sinks of acoustic energy. Used with narrowband analysis equipment, acoustic noise sources can be identified. Sound intensity measurements are made -in-situ and do not require specmi anechoic facilities. The measurement results in a vector representation of the near field sound field and can discriminate between multiple sound sources.d sources.

고분자 기판상에 제작된 ITO 박막의 특성 연구

  • The ITO thin films were prepared by FTS (Facing Targets Sputtering) system on polycarbonate (PC) substrate. The ITO thin films were deposited with a film thickness of 100nm at room temperature. As a function of sputtering conditions, electrical and optical properties of prepared ITO thin films were measured. The electrical and optical characteristics of the ITO thin films were evaluated by Hall Effect Measurement (EGK) and UV-VIS spectrometer (HP), respectively. From the results, the ITO thin film was deposited with a resistivity $8{\times}10^{-4}[{\Omega}-cm]$ and transmittance over 80%.

  • Preparing AZO thin films on the polymer substrate has been widely studied Because AZO thin film has the potential applications. In this study, we prepared AZO thin films on polyethersulfon (PES) at room temperature. The AZO thin films were prepared at $O_2$ gas flow rate of 0.05 and sputtering power of 100W with different film thickness by facing targets sputtering method. The electrical, optical and crystallographic properties of AZO thin films were measured by Hall Effect measurement system, UV/VIS spectrometer, SEM and XRD. From the results, we obtained AZO thin films with a low resistivity, a transmittance of over 80% and c-axis preferred orientation.

  • In this study, AZO(ZnO:Al) thin film were Prepared by FTS(Facing Target Sputtering) system. The electrical, optical properties and crystalline of AZO thin film with thickness have been investigated. The thickness, transmittance, crystalline and electrical Properties of AZO thin film were measured by $\alpha$-step, UV-VIS spectrometer, hall effect measurement system, XRD and four-point probe, respectively. As a result, AZO thin film deposited with the transmittance over $80\%$ and the resistivity about $10^{-4}{\Omega}-cm$.

대면적 스퍼터링 박막 제작을 위한 캐소드 설계 및 제작 (Design and Preparation of Cathode for Large Sputtering Thin Film)

  • In this study, we prepared sputtering cathode for large sputtering thin film in the facing targets sputtering(FTS) system. Before fabrication of cathode equipment, we investigated optimal magnetic flux in the sputtering cathode by using magnetic field stimulation(Comsol). According to the result of magnetic field stimulation, we manufactured the cathode. After we mounted laboratory-designed cathode on FTS system, the discharge properties were observed in vacuum condition. In addition, ITO films were deposited on glass substrate and their electrical and optical properties were investigated by various measurements (four-point probe, UV-VIS spectrometer, field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM), Hall-effect measurement).

열처리에 따른 Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) 박막의 특성변화 (Property Variation of Diamond-like Carbon Thin Film According to the Annealing Temperature)

  • Diamond-like carbon (DLC)은 $Sp^3$ 결합분율이 높은 준안정 상태의 비정질 탄소물질로 이루어진 박막이다. DLC는 기계적 특성, 화학적 특성, 윤활 특성뿐만 아니라 광학적, 전기적 특성 또한 우수한 물질이다. 본 연구에서는 DLC 박막을 그라파이트(graphite) 타깃을 출발 물질로 하여 고주파 마그네트론 스퍼터(RF magnetron sputter)로 $SiO_2$ 기판 상에 증착하였다. 증착된 DLC 박막은 후 열처리를 하였으며 열처리 온도에 따른 DLC 박막의 특성 변화를 관찰하였다. 열처리는 진공에서 급속가열법(rapid thermal process)으로 $300{\sim}500^{\circ}C$ 범위에서 시행하였다. 열처리된 DLC 박막은 전기적 특성 평가를 위하여 Hall 계수 측정기를 이용하여 상온 비저항을 측정하였으며 표면 변화를 확인하기 위하여 원자력 현미경(atomic force microscopy)을 이용하여 표면형상 변화를 관찰 하였다. 또한 표면특성, 비저항 특성 변화와 구조적 특성 변화와의 관계를 확인하기 위하여 X-선 광전자 분광법(X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy)과 라만 분광법을 이용하여 열처리에 따른 DLC 박막의 구조 변화를 관찰하였다.

  • In this work, VOx thin films have been deposited by DC magnetron sputtering method on glass substrate using argon and oxygen gases. We examined the effects of the post annealing temperature on the structural, optical, and electrical variations of VOx films. The films were annealed at temperatures ranging from 300 to $500^{\circ}C$ in steps of $100^{\circ}C$ using RTA equipment in air ambient. The thickness of the film and interface between film and substrate were observed by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). To analysis the structural properties of VOx with various annealng temperatures, we used XRD method. Also, we investigated the electrical and optical properties of VOx thin films using hall measurement, 4-point probe, and UV-visible methods.
