Adaptive Dual Fuzzy 알고리즘을 이용한 고층 빌딩의 엘리베이터 군 제어에 관한 연구 (A study on Elevator Group Controller of High Building using Adaptive Dual Fuzzy Algorithm)

  • In this paper, the development of a new group controller for high-speed elevator is carried out utilizing the approach of an adaptive dual fuzzy logic. Some goals of control are the minimization of waiting time, mean-waiting time and long-waiting time in a high building, when a new hall call is generated, adaptive dual fuzzy controller evaluate traffic pattern and change appropriately the membership function of a fuzzy rule base. Controls for co-operation among elevators in a group control algorithm arte essential, and the most critical control function in the group controller is an effective and proper hall call assignment of elevators. The group elevator system utilizing adaptive dual fuzzy control reveals a great deal of improvement on its performance.

  • 현재 복수개의 엘리베이터를 최적 제어하기 위해서 엘리베이터 군 제어 시스템이 사용되고 있다. 일반적인 엘리베이터 군 제어 시스템에서는 임의의 층에서의 호출(Hall Call)에 대해 복수개의 엘리베이터로부터 정보를 받는다. 다음으로 각 엘리베이터의 매력함수값을 산출, 매력함수들을 비교 한 후 가장 큰 값을 갖는 엘리베이터를 호출한 층으로 보내는 작업을 수행한다. 본 논문에서는 16개의 엘리베이터와 정렬 네트워크(Sorting Network)를 이용하여 각 엘리베이터들의 매력함수값의 비교를 수행하는 엘리베이터 군 제어부를 설계한다. 이를 통해 제어부에서 매력함수값들의 비교 연산에 소요되는 처리속도를 향상시킬 수 있다.

  • In this paper, the development of a new group controller for high-speed elevators is described utilizing the approach of adaptive dual fuzzy logic. When a new hall call is generated, all adaptive dual fuzzy controller evaluates the traffic patterns and changes the membership function of a fuzzy rule base appropriately. A control algorithm is essential to control the cooperation of multiple elevators in a group and the most critical control function in the group controller is an effective and proper hall call assignment of the elevators. The group elevator system utilizing adaptive dual fuzzy control clearly performs more effectively than previous group controllers.

  • In this paper, an optimal group control for elevator systems is proposed with timed Petri net based approach. Elevator system is modeled by time Petri nets and hall call response times are estimated with moment generating functions (MGFs) methos, which is applicable to real traffic patterns. Two assignment policies are proposed to satisfy the demands of passengers(i.e. hall/car calls) and to handle exceptional situations. In addition, optimal algorithms are implementated to minimize cost functions. THe performances of the elevator system employing the proposed algorithms are compared with each others in ways of several performance measures by a computer simulation.

  • In this paper, a predictive fuzzy control algorithm to supervise the elevator system with plural elevator cars is proposed and its performance is evaluated. Elevator group controller must decide the service elevator for a registered hall call to satisfy the multiple control objects. The proposed group control algorithm ensures the efficient operations of the group cars and provides the improved level of service, coping with multiple control objects and uncertainty of system state. The feasibility of the proposed control algorithm is evaluated by simulation on computer.

  • 본 논문은 엘리베이터의 분산 제어 시스템을 수학적으로 모델링 하여 이 모델을 기반으로 미리 정의된 제어 목적 하에서 보다 안정되고 향상된 성능을 보이는 제어 알고리즘을 설계하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한 승강장 요구 응답 시간 추정과 실제 값을 분석하였다.

  • The objective of this study is to propose the basic design plan of system by comparing and analyzing application environment of lift and elevator group control system, as preliminary study for the application of group control system to lifts for high-rise construction. The basic design plan is suggested in terms of group control algorithm, hall call system type, operation information recording device, information communication method, and operation method. The results of this study can be used as basic data for software and hardware design for application of group control technology of lifts for super tall building construction and ultimately contribute to improve the operation efficiency of lift for high-rise construction.

  • In this paper, a predictive fuzzy control algorithm to supervise the elevator system with plural elevator cars is developed and its performance is evaluated. Elevator group controller must decide which of the cars is suitable for responding the registered hall call and allocate it to the selected car controller. In most cases, the purpose of group control is to minimize waiting time of passengers and occurrence of long wait as much as possible. The proposed algorithm ensures the efficient operations of the group cars and provides the improved level of service, coping with multiple control objects and uncertainty of system state. The feasibility of the proposed control algorithm is evaluated by graphic simulator on computer.
