Ok-jin Gong's hunchback dance is considered to be a strange dance in Korea. However, there have been no reports of the effects of music and dance therapy as a pain treatment. The aim of this article is to argue that watching and listening to the hunchback dance of Ok-jin Gong may have significant effects as a form of pain treatment. The creator of this style of dance suspected that dance in general can be an outlet for our inner emotions. Her dance in this case has received critical and complimentary reviews as well. However she has been cited as the main culprit behind the destruction of traditional dance forms in the Korean dance world. Nonetheless, her bewitching stage presence attracted much attention. She satirized the feelings of the under privileged' through music and dance. We tend to feel somehow relative poverty and small in the presence of a rich and successful man. On the other hand, the artist felt that it is the public who would be relatively comforted and satisfied in the presence of the weak and handicapped. A free spirit that makes us forget pain is the very essence of her dancing. Her dance and music sound as if she sublimated her sadness and ugliness, changing it to happiness and beauty. She puts herself in a low position and spreads a sense of freedom and relief to the world. Hence, the author felt that innumerable people have been comforted in these ways by her dance.

This study was to analyze the social identity described in the dress of the American novelist Pearl S. Buck's (1892-1973) major works. A novelist pursues varying and refined expressions in an effort to convey to readers the character' identities of his or her own creation. In particular, Pearl S, Buck was a great writer who was awarded the Novel Literature Prize, and since her work The Good Earth recorded a world-wide bestseller, she might well be called a popular novelist. She depicted well her characters' identities from divers viewpoints with her unique delicacy and realistic expressions. For this study, the following seven works which are considered to feature the dresses for character's identity well were selected out of her 85 works: The Good Earth (1931), Sons(1932), The Mother (1934), A Housed Divided (1935), The Hidden Flower (1952), Love and the Morning Calm (1953) and Letter from Peking (1957). For an analytical tool, the content analysis method was used. In order to systematically review the social identity described in the dress individuals' identity were classified into the following categories based on the identity theories: Social identity were divided into ① age identity ② sex, gender identity ③ economic identity ④ occupational identity ⑤ political identity ⑥ religious identity ⑦ kinship identity ⑧ regional identity. The characters' age identity, sex, gender identity, economic identity, occupational identity, political identity, religious identity, kinship identity, regional identity were depicted by their dresses and physical features. All in all, it is hoped that this study would provided important cues to the understanding of the other party's identity through his or her dresses in mutual relationship: It is believed that this study would be useful because they are arranged through the analysis of the dresses featured in the great writer's works using a consistent framework of analysis.

The purpose of this study is to investigate Modernism of Gabrielle Chanel in respect to her fashion business. Chanel always considered the work of a fashion designer 'a technique, a craft, a trade' and chastised couturiers who looked upon themselves as artists. She was the first to cater to the public in its broader sense and to produce standard which appealed to every taste, the first to democratize the art of dressmaking for purely economic reasons. The results were as follows; 1. Chanel personified ~his new spirit of independence and evolved a style of dress for the modern, liberated woman. 2. Chanel excelled at fabrics, their interpretation, and an ability to use them. She had taken a humble material, one that was used by men and that they had shunned, and turned it into a fashionable fabric. In the process she also accelerated the growth of the ready-to-wear industry for it was a fabric within the financial reach of the majority of woman who wanted to dress fashionably but were not well off. 3. Chanel thought black chic and would never go out of fashion. As American Vogue for 1 October 1926 prognosticated, her little black dress became a kind of uniform. 4. Chanel represented an exception among couturiers because she was flattered that her styles were so popular and widely copied. She believed that her style would be affirmed by high-street copies-after all, copying is the sincerest form of flattery. 5. Chanel changed the concept of costume jewellery. It was not an original idea of Chanel's. Whereas Poiret had pioneered the original idea of costume jewellery, it was Chanel's avant-garde way with it not to mention her usual deceptive simplicity and supreme artistry that made costume jewellery evolve a successful and lucrative part of the fashion industry.

The purpose of this study is to make the internet website on the order-made fashion design so as to do meet the need of netizen in the 21st century. It made the consumer do the design which he or she wants by the combination of the compositions that do select the pattern of the skirt design to fit his or her size and body shape. For the set-up of website, the elements of composition must be considered, and also the planning and design must be done fur the order-made fashion design. With the internet website, it's possible to do reach the below points; first, it can make the consumer do the design which he or she wants by himself or herself; second, it can provide him or her the information of measuring his or her body shape to buy the design pattern which he or she wants. Third, it can be contributed to make the brand more active by improving his or her satisfaction with the design and pattern which he or she wants. Also it can bring up the effects as fellows; first, lashing power of the design can be increased by the order-made fashion design to attract his or her interest, and also it can make him or her more satisfied. Second, the competitiveness can be strengthened by the differentiation of the fashion site between the existing design and the order-made fashion design. Third, the production of design can be higher and also its expense can be reduced even for the small and medium-sized clothes maker or merchants. Finally, it is able to enlarge the applicable field into the design of small articles, home fashion, and textile which they want to sell the differentiated and order-made products.

본 연구는 전북농촌에서 평생 살아온 여성노인 A의 삶의 주제를 찾아본 생애구술사 연구이다. 약 40여회의 면담에서 드러난 A 삶의 주제는 본인의 자율학습과 자식교육을 향한 끊임없는 노력인데 구체적인 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, A는 어려서 야학당에 다니며 공부를 했다. 둘째, 일곱 자녀의 교육비 마련을 위해 농사를 짓고, 가마니 짜기, 삼베 짜기, 누에치기 등을 하고, 농산물과 해산물을 팔고, 쌀계의 계주역할을 수행하기도 하였다. 셋째, 아들교육이 우선되어 딸들 교육은 어려웠으나 누에가 크면 팔아서 갚는다고 "외상입학"을 시키기도 하면서 어렵게 이어갔다. 동시대 많은 여성노인이 교육기회박탈에 아쉬워하기만 할 때 본인과 자녀의 교육 환경 개선을 위해 노력한 A의 삶은 매우 주목할 만하다. 사회변화의 힘이 개인의 능동적인 노력에서 기인한다는 점을 생각해 볼 때 비슷한 삶의 주제를 가진 이들의 구술생애 연구가 활성화되어 능동적이며 주체적인 농촌 여성노인에 대한 체계적인 이론화가 필요하다고 하겠다.

The infantile convulsions and choreoathetosis (ICCA) syndrome is defined when two overlapping clinical features of benign familial infantile epilepsy (BFIE) and paroxysmal kinesigenic dyskinesia (PKD) are present in an individual or a family. Since the gene encoding proline-rich transmembrane protein 2 (PRRT2) was first identified in Han Chinese families with PKD, mutations of PRRT2 have additionally been reported in patients with BFIE and ICCA. We attempted to identify the genetic etiology in an ICCA family where the proband, her elder sister, and a maternal male cousin had BFIE, and her mother had PKD. Whole-exome sequencing performed in the proband and her sister and mother identified a novel pathogenic mutation of PRRT2 (c.640delinsCC; p.Ala214ProfsTer11), which was verified by Sanger sequencing. This frameshift PRRT2 mutation located near the genetic hot spot of base 649_650 results in the premature termination of the protein, as do most previously reported mutations in BFIE, ICCA, and PKD.

Purpose: Varicella-zoster virus (VZV) infection is a common childhood disease. However, old and immune compromised patients are also at risk. Necrotizing fasciitis is a life threatening infection of the subcutaneous tissues, rapidly extending along the fascial planes. It is associated with a significant mortality rate, reported between 20% and 50%, and is therefore regarded as a surgical emergency. The authors treated a patient, who developed skin necrosis of her nose and left hemifacial area, following VZV infection. There are few literatures concerning this case; therefore, we present a rare case with review of literature. Methods: A 39-year-old woman had shown a localized, painful, multiple bullae and eschar formation in her nose and left hemifacial area for several days. Her skin lesion had rapidly worsened in size and morphology. Results: We diagnosed her as a necrotizing fasciitis, following herpes zoster, and then we performed a debridement of necrotic tissue and took a full thickness skin graft on her nose and left hemifacial area. Now, she was followed up with acceptable aesthetic result after 6 months. Conclusion: Secondary bacterial skin infection following VZV, can cause a result in a higher risk of complications. Among the complication, a necrotizing fasciitis of the head and neck is uncommon, and involvement of the nose is even more rare. Through this uncommon case report, we intend to emphasize the fact that early diagnosis of necrotizing fasciitis is very important, since it frequently necessitates surgical treatment which improves morbidity and leads to good recovery.

본 연구는 도구적 사례연구로 만 4세 여아의 놀이치료 과정에 나타난 놀이를 분석하였다. 내담 아동은 어린이집에서 집단 활동에 참여하는 것을 어려워하고 낯선 사람이 말을 걸면 울어버리는 것을 주 호소로 하여 놀이치료에 의뢰되었다. 치료적 개입으로 아동에 대한 개별 놀이치료와 회기 후 10분 모(母) 상담이 제공되었고, 모 상담은 촉진적인 양육 기술과 양육 환경을 조성하는 방향으로 진행되었다. 또한 매주 담임 교사가 아동의 어린이집 생활 모습을 관찰하고 매주 관찰척도를 작성하였다. 총 12회기(주 2회, 6주)가 실시되었으며 종료 후 한 달이 지난 시점에 추수 회기가 진행되었다. 이에 따라 유아의 놀이치료 과정에 나타난 매 회기 치료 장면을 제시하고 Erikson의 발달 이론에 기초하여 놀이를 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 유아의 놀이치료 과정을 이해하고자 할 때 기초 자료를 제공하였다는데 의의가 있다.

We introduce a semidiscrete mixed finite element approximation for the single-phase linear Stefan problem and show the unique existence of the approximation. And the optimal rate of convergence in $L^2$ and $H^1$ norms are derived.

The intermediate polar V1323 Her = RXS J180340.0+401214 returned from its faint state 19.4-20.5 mag (mean brightness during the run, the instrumental system close to R or clear filter) (vsnet-alert 16958). On March 1, 2014, the brightness was 17.50 (clear filter) and next night 17.8 (R). During previous observations on January 24, the object was 19.6. We reported this findings to vsnet-alert 16958 and to The Astronomer's Telegramm (ATel #5944). The characteristics of the runs obtained before/after a switch between the high and low states will be presented.
