ZERO BASED INVARIANT SUBSPACES AND FRINGE OPERATORS OVER THE BIDISK

  • Let M be an invariant subspace of $H^2$ over the bidisk. Associated with M, we have the fringe operator $F^M_z$ on $M{\ominus}{\omega}M$. It is studied the Fredholmness of $F^M_z$ for (generalized) zero based invariant subspaces M. Also ker $F^M_z$ and ker $(F^M_z)^*$ are described.

  • If an Azumaya algebra A is a homomorphic image of a finite group ring RG where G is a direct product of subgroups then A can be decomposed into subalgebras A(sub)i which are homomorphic images of subgroup rings of RG. This result is extended to projective Schur algebras, and in this case behaviors of 2-cocycles will play major role. Moreover considering the situation that A is represented by Azumaya group ring RG, we study relationships between the representing groups for A and A(sub)i.

  • Let $\{{\varphi}_n\}_{n{\geq}1}$ be a sequence of analytic self-maps of ${\mathbb{D}}$. It is proved that if the union set of the ranges of the composition operators $C_{{\varphi}_n}$ on the weighted Bergman spaces contains the disk algebra, then ${\varphi}_k$ is an automorphism of ${\mathbb{D}}$ for some $k{\geq}1$.

A Total Synthesis of Aliskiren Starting from D-Tartrate Diester

  • A formal total synthesis of aliskiren was accomplished. A key in our synthesis was to use the symmetric ciscisoid-cis-bis-lactone 3' as a precursor, which was prepared from D-tartrate diester. Appending the end groups and functional group transformations completed the synthesis.
