HFC152a, HFC134a, 프로판을 포함한 자동차용 대체/보충 냉매의 성능 (Performance of HFC152a, HFC134a and HC290 Mixtures as Alternative Refrigerants for HFC134a)

  • In this study, HFC152a, HFC134a/HFC152a and HC290/HFC134a/HFC152a mixtures are studied for the supplementary and alternative refrigerants for HFC134a used in automobile air-conditioners. Due to the high global warming potential of HFC134a, it has to be phased out in the long run. Thermodynamic performance of these refrigerants are measured in a bench tester of 3.5 kW capacity with an open type compressor under both summer and winter conditions. Test results show that the coefficient of performance (COP) and capacity of pure HFC152a and HFC134a/HFC152a mixture are 9.1~12% and 7% higher than those of HFC134a. As for the HC290/HFC134a/HFC152a, the COP is up to 9.5% higher than that of HFC134a with 1~2% of HC290 while that is up to 6.1% lower than that of HFC134a with 5% HC290. The capacity of the ternary mixture, however, is 8.6% higher than that of HFC134a at all compositions tested. The compressor discharge temperatures of all refrigerants tested are $6{\sim}10^{\circ}C$ higher than that of HFC134a. For all refrigerants, the amount of charge is reduced up to 32% due to the decrease in liquid density. Overall, these refrigerants provide good performance with reasonable energy savings with less environmental problem and thus can be used as long term alternatives for automobile air-conditioners.

환원제로서 바이오디젤 혼합연료가 HC-SCR의 NOx 변환효율에 미치는 영향 연구 (The Effect of Biodiesel Blend Fuels As Reductants on NOx Conversion Efficiency of HC_SCR)

  • 본 연구는 경유를 2차 분사연료로 사용하는 HC-SCR 후처리장치에서 2차 분사연료의 바이오디젤 함량 변화(BD0, BD10, BD25)에 다른 NOx 변환특성을 분석하였다. 시험조건은 HC-SCR 장치의 특성, 2차 분사연료의 distillation 등을 고려하여 장치 전단온도는 $290^{\circ}C$, $320^{\circ}C$, $350^{\circ}C$로 설정하였으며, 공간속도는 55,000(1/h)으로 고정하고 연료분사량을 조절하였다. Distillation 시험결과, T90은 약 $350^{\circ}C$로 동일한 수준이었으며 바이오디젤 함량이 증가할수록 $350^{\circ}C$보다 낮은 조건에서 증발량이 감소한다는 결과를 얻었다. 2차 분사연료에 혼합된 바이오디젤 함량이 증가할수록 NOx 저감효율은 감소하는 것을 확인하였으며 저온조건($290^{\circ}C$)보다 고온조건($320^{\circ}C$, $350^{\circ}C$)에서 NOx 저감율의 차이가 더 크게 발생했다. 이러한 결과는 바이오디젤의 열악한 증발특성(Distillation)과 높은 분자량인 것으로 추측된다.

Evaporation Heat Transfer Characteristics of Hydrocarbon Refrigerants R-290 and R-600a in the Horizontal Tubes

  • This paper presents the experimental results of evaporation heat transfer coefficients of HC refrigerants (e.g. R290 and R600a). R-22 as a HCFCs refrigerant and R-l34a as a HFCs refrigerant in horizontal double pipe heat exchangers, having four different inner diameters of 10.07, 7.73, 6.54 and 5.80 mm respectively. The experiments of the evaporation process were conducted at mass flux of $35.5{\sim}210.4 kg/m^2s$ and cooling capacity of $0.95{\sim}10.1 kW$. The main results were summarized as follows : The average evaporation heat transfer coefficient of hydrocarbon refrigerants(R-290 and R-600a) was higher than the refrigerants, R-22 and R-l34a. In comparison with R-22 the evaporation heat transfer coefficient of R-l34a is approximately $-11{\sim}8.1 %$ higher. R-290 is $56.7{\sim}70.1 %$ higher and R-600a is $46.9{\sim}59.7 %$ higher. respectively. In comparison with experimental data and some correlations, the evaporation heat transfer coefficients are well predicted with the Kandlikar's correlation regardless of a type of refrigerants and tube diameters.

  • 최근의 선진국의 전략미사일에 사용되는 추진제 개발 방향은 고에너지, 저민감, 무연 및 무공해 추진제를 목표로 하고 있다. 현재까지 가장 널리 사용되어온 AP는 성능이나 기계적 특성에서 우수한 산화제이나 로켓 모타 배출기체 중에 HC1을 생성함으로써 2차 연기를 생성하며, HC1 자체가 인체에 유해한 물질이라는 단점들을 가지고 있다. 또한 RDX나 HMX는 에너지가 높은 반면 쇽(shock)에 대해 매우 민감한 단점을 가지고 있다. AN은 이러한 HC1을 생성하는 AP의 단점과 쇽에 민감한 RDX와 HMX의 단점을 해결할 수 있는 대체 산화제로 사용할 수 있으나, 성능이 대외적으로 떨어지며 상변이와 흡습성이 높은 단점이 있다. ADN은 -100~+10$0^{\circ}C$범위에서 상 변이가 없고 밀도는 1.801g/㎤, Hf는 -290cal/g이다. ADN을 산화제로 사용하면 HTPB/AP 추진제와 동등하거나 그 이상의 성능을 갖는 추진제를 만들 수가 있으며, 유해 기체인 HC1을 배출하지 않음으로 인하여 2차 연기를 없애는 장점이 있다.

한국인의 고지혈증에 관한 연구 -II. 고콜레스테롤혈증 소견자의 음주, 흡연, 운동 및 생활습관 특성과 그 위험인자를 중심으로- (A Study of Hyperlipidemia in Koreans -II. Specially Related to Drinking Smoking Exercise and Environmental Characteristics and It's Risk Factors for Hypercholesterolemia-)

  • This study was conducted to investigate drinking smoking exercise and environmental characteristics and it's risk factors for hypercholesterolemia (HC) in Korean. 344 adult men who took the annual health check-ups at D or J hospitals were participated in this corss-sectional study. The subjects were grouped by plasma total cholesterol level into three groups: normal cholesterolemic(n=139) borderline hyper-cholesterolemic (n=93) and hypercholesterolemic (n-112) groups. The data of plasma cholesterol level in the subjects were collected from medical records. Drinking smoking and exercise habits family and disease history personality type and stress level of subjects were investigated by using questionaries. The subjects with HC had longer drinking duration and drunk more frequently. The proportion of smok-er heavy smoker($\geq$2pack/day) and longer smoker ($\geq$30yrs) showed high in the HC but there were no significancy. The subjects with HC had preference for light exercise and exercised more frequently but there were no significant difference. The family history of cardiovascular diseases was higher in the were not different among the three groups. The relative risks on HC were 1.33 for family history, 1.22 for severe stress 1.06 for smoking and 1.04 for exercise.

탄화수소 및 불화탄화수소 혼합냉매의 기상-액상 평형에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Vapor-Liquid Equilibria of HFC and HC Refrigerant Mixtures)

  • Isothermal vapor-liquid equilibrium(VLE) data have been obtained for the systems of propane(R290)+1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane(R134a) and 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane(R134a)+isobutane(R60A) in the temperature range of 253.15 to 323.15K. Experiments were performed in a circulation type apparatus by injecting vapor through liquid pool using a magnetic pump. Both systems form azeotropes in the temperature range of this study. The experimental results were estimated with the Peng-Robinson equation of state. When the temperature-dependent binary interaction parameter was used in the Peng-Robinson equation of state, the absolute average deviation of the measured bubble point pressures from the values correlated by the Peng-Robinson equation was 0.65% and 0.78% for R290+R134a and R134a+600a, respectively. Azeotropic compositions for both systems were presented.

수평관내 R-290과 R-600a의 증발 열전달 특성 (Evaporation kent transfer characteristics of R-290 and R-600a in the horizontal tubes)

  • 본 논문은 수평 이중관식 열교환기 내 프레온계 냉매의 대체냉매인 탄화수소계 냉매(R-290과 R-600a)의 증발 열전달 계수에 대한 실험적 결과를 나타내었다. 증발기의 내관 내경은 각각 10.07 mm와 6.54 mm의 2가지를 사용하였다. 증발실험은 질량유속 $35.5{\sim}210.4\;kg/m^2s$이고, 냉각용량 $0.95{\sim}10.1\;kW$인 조건에서 수행하였다. 실험결과를 요약하면, 탄화수소계 냉매 R-290과 R-600a의 증발 열전달 계수가 프레온계 냉매 R-22보다 높았다. 즉, R-22의 증발 열전달 계수에 비해, R-290와 R600a는 각각 $56.7{\sim}70.1%$$46.9{\sim}59.7%$ 정도 높았다. 실험데이터와 종래의 상관식을 비교한 결과, 모든 냉매와 관경에 대해서 Kandlikar상관식이 가장 좋은 일치를 보였다.

  • The application of hydrocarbon refrigerant mixtures in a hermetic reciprocating compressor for dehumidifier is investigated. The selected refrigerants are R12, R134a, HC-Blend (R290/R600a), CX(R152a/R600a) and OS-l2a. Both theoretical and experimental investigations have been performed for the selected refrigerants. The test results of hydrocarbon refrigerants have been compared to traditional refrigerant(R12) and R134a. The results show that hydrocarbon refrigerant mixtures(HC-Blend, CX and OS-l2a) are very good alternatives in the refrigeration system for R12 and R134a.

  • The application of hydrocarbon refrigerants in a hermetic reciprocating compressor for refrigerator is investigated. The selected refrigerants are isobutane(R600a), propane(R290), R12, binary mixture of R600a/R290, and OS-21CII. Both theoretical and experimental investigations have been performed for the selected refrigerants. The test results of hydrocarbon refrigerants have been compared to the traditional refrigerant(R12). The results show that hydrocarbon refrigerants(HC-Blend, OS-21C II) are very good alternatives in the refrigeration system for R12.

  • The performance of an air to water vapor compression heat pump has been investigated experimentally. The main purpose of this study was to study the possibilities of using hydrocarbon refrigerants as a working fluid to replace R-22 for vapor compression heat pumps. Pure R-22 and R-290, R-600a, R-1270 were considered as working fluids. The performance of the system was characterized by compression shaft work, refrigeration capacity, pressure ratio, discharge temperature and COP. The experimental apparatus has basic parts of cycle that uses the air as a heat source. The experimental results show that refrigeration capacity of HC refrigerants is same or higher than that of R-22. On the other hand, compression shaft work of HC refrigerants is lower than that of R-22. Compression shaft work is lower than that of R-22. Come to the conclusion that, it is possible that hydrocarbon refrigerants could be drop-in alternatives for R-22.
