First light galaxies have predictable linear clustering, and are expected to produce fluctuations with a characteristic spatial power spectrum, which peaks at an angular scale of ~ 10 arcminutes and in the $1-2{\mu}m$ spectral regions. The Cosmic Infrared Background ExpeRiment 2 (CIBER2) is a dedicated sounding rocket mission for measuring the fluctuations in the extragalactic infrared background light, following up the previous successful measurements of CIBER1. With a 28.5 cm telescope accompanied with three arms of camera barrels and a dual broadband filter on each H2RG (${\lambda}_c=2.5{\mu}m$) array, CIBER2 can measure 6 bands of wide field ($1.1{\times}2.2$ degrees) up to 3 AB magnitudes deeper than CIBER1. This project is leaded by California Institute of Technology/Jet Propulsion Laboratory, collaborating internationally with Institute of Space and Astronautical Science in Japan, Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute, Korea Basic Science Institute, and Seoul National University. The Korean team is in charge of 1) one H2RG scientific array, 2) ground station hardware and software, 3) telescope lenses, and 4) flight and test bed electronics fabrication. In this paper, we describe the detailed activities of the Korean participation as well as the current status of the CIBER2 project.
Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST) imaging is a method to detect solutes based on the chemical exchange of mobile protons with water. The solute protons exchange with three different patterns, which are fast, slow, and intermediate rates. The CEST contrast can be obtained from the exchangeable protons, which are hydroxyl protons, amine protons, and amide protons. The CEST MR imaging is useful to evaluate tumors, strokes, and other diseases. The purpose of this study is to review the mathematical model for CEST imaging and for measurement of the chemical exchange rate, and to measure the chemical exchange rate using a 3T MRI system on several amino acids. We reviewed the mathematical models for the proton exchange. Several physical models are proposed to demonstrate a two-pool, three-pool, and four-pool models. The CEST signals are also evaluated by taking account of the exchange rate, pH and the saturation efficiency. Although researchers have used most commonly in the calculation of CEST asymmetry, a quantitative analysis is also developed by using Lorentzian fitting. The chemical exchange rate was measured in the phantoms made of asparagine (Asn), glutamate (Glu), ${\gamma}-aminobutyric$ acid (GABA), glycine (Gly), and myoinositol (MI). The experiment was performed at a 3T human MRI system with three different acidity conditions (pH 5.6, 6.2, and 7.4) at a concentration of 50 mM. To identify the chemical exchange rate, the "lsqcurvefit" built-in function in MATLAB was used to fit the pseudo-first exchange rate model. The pseudo-first exchange rate of Asn and Gly was increased with decreasing acidity. In the case of GABA, the largest result was observed at pH 6.2. For Glu, the results at pH 5.6 and 6.2 did not show a significant difference, and the results at pH 7.4 were almost zero. For MI, there was no significant difference at pH 5.6 or 7.4, however, the results at pH 6.2 were smaller than at the other pH values. For the experiment at 3T, we were only able to apply 1 s as the maximum saturation duration due to the limitations of the MRI system. The measurement of the chemical exchange rate was limited in a clinical 3T MRI system because of a hardware limitation.
We present the results of extinction measurements toward the main ejecta shell of the Cassiopeia A supernova (SN) remnant using the flux ratios between the two near-infrared (NIR) [Fe II] lines at 1.26 and $1.64{\mu}m$. We find a clear correlation between the NIR extinction (E(J-H)) and the radial velocity of ejecta knots, showing that redshifted knots are systematically more obscured than blueshifted ones. This internal "self-extinction" strongly indicates that a large amount of SN dust resides inside and around the main ejecta shell. At one location in the southern part of the shell, we measure E(J-H) by the SN dust of $0.23{\pm}0.05mag$. By analyzing the spectral energy distribution of thermal dust emission at that location, we show that there are warm (~100K) and cool (~40K) SN dust components and that the latter is responsible for the observed E(J-H). We investigate the possible grain species and size of each component and find that the warm SN dust needs to be silicate grains such as $MgSiO_3$, $Mg_2SiO_4$, and $SiO_2$, whereas the cool dust could be either small (${\leq}0.01{\mu}m$) Fe or large (${\geq}0.01{\mu}m$) Si grains. We suggest that the warm and cool dust components in Cassiopeia A represent grain species produced in diffuse SN ejecta and in dense ejecta clumps, respectively.

The mechanical properties of silicon carbide deposited by chemical vapor deposition process onto a graphite substrate are studied using nanoindentation techniques. The silicon carbide coating was fabricated in a chemical vapor deposition process with different microstructures and thicknesses. A nanoindentation technique is preferred because it provides a reliable means to measure the mechanical properties with continuous load-displacement recording. Thus, a detailed nanoindentation study of silicon carbide coatings on graphite structures was conducted using a specialized specimen preparation technique. The mechanical properties of the modulus, hardness and toughness were characterized. Silicon carbide deposited at $1300^{\circ}C$ has the following values: E=316 GPa, H=29 GPa, and $K_c$=9.8 MPa $m^{1/2}$; additionally, silicon carbide deposited at $1350^{\circ}C$ shows E=283 GPa, H=23 GPa, and $K_c$=6.1 MPa $m^{1/2}$. The mechanical properties of two grades of SiC coating with different microstructures and thicknesses are discussed.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of smartphone use to enhance self-efficacy and decrease loneliness in elders through communication using the SNS Program Methods: Participants in this study were assigned to the experimental group (25) or control group (25). Data were collected from June 3 to July 12, 2019. For this study, the communication Program through SNS was run once for a total of 12 sessions. Results: It was found that H1 was supported (z=-4.12, p=.005) as "the experimental group participating in the communication Program through SNS had greater self-efficacy than the control group". H2 was supported as "the experimental group participating in the communication Program through SNS had less loneliness than the control group", (z=3.20, p<.001). Conclusion: This basic information may be used as an intervention on communication Program through SNS. Findings suggest the necessity of improving self-efficacy and reduction of loneliness through an intervention communication Program through SNS.
This study first conceptualizes and investigates five dimensions of SCM activities, such as organizational capacity, revitalization support collaboration, appraisal and responsibility, and information system activities. Second, this study develops three dimensions of a supply chain structure, and proposes a balanced scorecard (BSC) model in order to measure business performance. And then, this study establishes too research hypotheses as follows: H1. The SCM activities varies with the supply chain structure. H2. The management performance varies with the supply chain structure. In the questionnaire survey for empirical analysis, this study carefully selected 809 of companies in Korea. We conducted a survey by mail and collected 127 data. Out of 127 data we actually used 103 responses for statistical analysis. After conducting statistical analysis, we could find the results as followed: 1) The supply chain structure was classified into three networks through a clustering procedure, such as supply network, conversion network, and distribution network, and these networks were used to testify hypotheses. As a result the effect of SCM activities varies according to three networks and especially, the companies in distribution network were more active than those in supply and conversion networks doing SCM activities. 2) We may conclude that business performance varies with three networks, and distribution network achieves better performance than supply and conversion networks do.
An application of synergistic solvent extraction for the etermination of trace lithium in sea water has been studied by forming an adduct complex of thenoyltrifluoroacetone (TTA) and trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO) in a solvent. The interference by major constituents in sea water was eliminated by phosphate precipitation. Ex-perimental conditions such as solution pH, concentrations of TTA and TOPO etc. were optimized in synthetic sea water with similar compositionto its natural counterpart. To eliminate the interference, 1.38g of ammoni-um dihydrogen phosphate and 2.5 mL of ammonia water were added into 100 mL of thediluted solution at $60^{\circ}C$ to form the phosphate precipitates of Ca2+ and Mg2+ ions. After the pH of this filtrate was adjusted to 8.0, 10.0 mL of m-xylene containing 0.1 M TTA and 0.05 M TOPO was added to the solution in a separatory funnel, and the solution was shaken vigorously for 20 minutes. The solvent was separated from the aqueous solution, and 20 uL of m-xylene solution was injected into a gaphite tube to measure the absorbance by GF-AAS. The detection limit was 0.42 ng/mL. Lithium was determined within the range of 146 to 221 ng/mLin Korean coast-al sea waters, and the recoveries in the spiked samples were 94 to 106%.
Background: This study aimed to determine the effect of ramen sauce on tooth tone changes over time, after selecting three different ramen colors from the ramens sold in the market, and applying the sauce to bovine teeth. Methods: Healthy bovine teeth were selected, and cutting discs were used to produce 60 specimens (5× 5× 3 mm), with 15 specimens distributed per county. Three types of ramen (buldak, chacharoni black bean sauce, and ottogi curry noodle) were used as the experimental group, and water was used as the negative control group. Tooth tone measurement was performed using a spectrophotometer (CM-700d) to measure the color before and after 1 (3 h 44 min), 2 (7 h 28 min), 3 (11 h 12 min), and 4 weeks (14 h 56 min). Analysis of the color tone change was performed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences version 28. Results: In the experimental group, there was a significant color tone change before and after immersion. L* indicated the largest change in black bean sauce ramen, a* indicated buldak ramen, and b* indicated the largest change in curry ramen. The amount of color change (∆E*) was the largest in curry ramen, followed by buldak and black bean sauce ramens. The results of the post-hoc analysis showed significant differences between all groups except buldak and black bean sauce ramens. Conclusion: All three types of ramen revealed significant color change before and after immersion, and curry ramen showed the largest amount of color change among them.

In this paper, to fabricate a superconducting fault current limiter(FCL) of thick film type, $YBa_2Cu_3O_X superconducting thick films were fabricated by surface diffusion process using the screen printing method. Powder mixture of $3BaCuO_2$+2CuO was screen printed on $Y_2BaCuO_5$(d=15mm). And critical current densities of the thick films were observed as the sintering temperature(92$0^{\circ}C$~95$0^{\circ}C$) and holding time(2h~10h). Based on experimental data, the thick films for superconducting FCL were sintered at $940^{\circ}C$ in 2 hours. The superconducting FCL with a current limiting area of 1mm wide and 66mm long was prepared on $Y_2BaCuO_5$ substrate. To measure the characterization of the fabricated FCL, an alternating voltage (60Hz) was applied to the FCL in 77K liquid nitrogen. At an applied voltage of 4V, the FCL was limited from 20A into 0.6A not farther than 0.5ms.
The fractional synthesis rates(FSR) were measured with 2l-wk and 3l-wk-old broiler breeder pullets and hens to investigate the effect of sexual maturity on FSR. The FSR were obtained from chicken tissues and blood samples using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry(HPLC/MS). A L-l-13C, 15N -leucine saline solution was infused by bolus injection as a tracer into broiler breeder pullets in the experiment. A rapid HPLC/MS method was developed to measure the isotopic enrichments of leucine in plasma, tissue samples, and eggs. The enrichments of stable isotope leucine incorporated into protein and the enrichments of the stable isotope free leucine were measured in liver, breast muscle and blood samples. Two sets of experiments were conducted. In experiment one, 2l-wk-old, sexually immature broiler breeder pullets were divided into groups of three and blood samples were collected at 20 or 30 min intervals until 1.5 h from initial injection. The pullets were sacrificed in groups of three at varying time intervals for 7 h after injection. The liver, breast muscle and blood samples were removed for analysis. The FSR were estimated to be 8.7l%/day for liver, 4.06%/day for breast muscle, and 5.08%/day for blood samples in 30 minutes after injection from the enrichment ratios. In experiment two, sexually matured 3l-wk-old broiler breeder hens were assorted into groups of three and blood samples were obtained at 20 or 30 min intervals for 2 h. The FSR for blood samples were determined. The broiler breeder hens were sacrificed in groups of three at various time intervals until 7 h after injection and liver, breast muscle and blood samples were removed for analysis. The FSR were calculated to be 5.96%/day for liver. Eggs were collected from five chickens daily for 10 days after large bolus injection. The average of total enrichments of stable isotope in egg albumin was increased by 0.064% at 4 days after injection and was back to normal in 7 days.
