Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring, a an ideal of R, and M a minimax R-module. We prove that the local cohomology modules $H^j_a(M)$ are a-cominimax; that is, $Ext^i_R$(R/a, $H^j_a(M)$) is minimax for all i and j in the following cases: (a) dim R/a = 1; (b) cd(a) = 1, where cd is the cohomological dimension of a in R; (c) dim $R{\leq}2$. In these cases we also prove that the Bass numbers and the Betti numbers of $H^j_a(M)$ are finite.

We have developed a RGB polymer dispersed liquid crystal film (RGB PDLC). To obtain the color display, color pigments are mixed in the prepolymer. We have presented an electro-optical performance of our cell and analyzed the electro optical properties for varying LC/ pre-polymer ratio and polymer type.

We developed a high performance 2.2" active matrix OLED display for IMT-2000 mobile phone. Scan and Data driver circuits were integrated on the glass substrate, using low temperature poly-Si(LTPS) TFT CMOS technology. High efficiency EL materials were employed to the panel for low power consumption. Peak luminescence of the panel was higher than 250cd/$m^2$ with power consumption of 200mW.

The aim of this study was two purpose: to compare recovery of embryos/follicle number from superovulated Holsteins(H) and Korean Native Cows(KNC) by flushing the uterine horns through insertion of the catheter and to evaluate the hormonal and superovulatory response to estradiol benzoate(EB) treatment prior to superovulation. The object of this study was to investigate the inhibitory effects of chios mastic gum (MG) on gastric acid secretion in an ethanol-induced SD rat model and primary parietal cells. Rats were randomly divided into four groups: Vehicle (normal group), Control (treated with ethanol), MG50 (treated with ethanol and mastic gum at 50 mg/kg b.w), MG100 (treated with ethanol and mastic gum at 100 mg/kg b.w). Groups treated with both MG50 and MG100 showed attenuation of gastric mucosal injury, sub-epithelial loss, hemorrhaging, and gastric juice secretion. We also examined the acidity of gastric juice during gastric injury. Oral administration of both MG50 and MG100 significantly decreased acidity of gastric juice by % and %, respectively. To examine the stimulatory factors related to gastric acid secretion, mRNA expression levels of H2r, M3r, CCK2r, and $H^+/K^+$ ATPase were measured by real-time PCR. Compared with a vehicle group, mRNA expression levels of H2r, CCK2r, and $H^+/K^+$ ATPase clearly increased in the control group. However, levels of H2r, CCK2r, and $H^+/K^+$ ATPase slightly but significantly decreased in MG-treated groups compared with control. Blood level of histamine significantly decreased in MG-treated groups, which indicates the involvement of MG on in histamine-related acid secretion. To identify the mode of action of MG in regulating histamine-related pathways, intracellular level of cAMP and mRNA levels of H2r, M3r, CCK2r, and $H^+/K^+$ ATPase were measured in primary parietal cells. While mRNA levels of M3r and CCK2r remained unchanged, levels of H2r and $H^+/K^+$ ATPase significantly decreased upon MG treatment. Subsequently, intracellular levels of cAMP decreased. These results suggest that mastic gum has the ability to inhibit gastric acid secretion by regulating a histamine-related pathway.

In this paper, we will provide an alternative proof to characterize the pointwise multipliers which maps a Sobolev space $\dot{H}^r(\mathb{R}^d)$ to its dual $\dot{H}^{-r}(\mathb{R}^d)$ in the case 0 < $r$ < $\frac{d}{2}$ by a simple application of the definition of fractional Sobolev space. The proof relies on a method introduced by Maz'ya-Verbitsky [9] to prove the same result.

If there are bounds on x, these are included in the matrix $A^T$. The Hessian matrix H may be positive definite or negative semi-difinite. For large problems H and the constraint matrix A are assumed to be sparse.

In this paper we investigate complete spacelike (r - 1)-maximal (i.e., $H_r\;{\equiv}\;0$) hypersurfaces with two distinct principal curvatures in the anti-de Sitter space $\mathbb{H}_1^{n+1}$(-1). We give a characterization of the hyperbolic cylinder.
