보리수나무(Elaeagnus umbellata) 뿌리혹엣 분리한 공생균주인 Frankia 균주 EuIK1 게놈에 대해 K. pneumoniae의 nifH,D를 탐침으로 Southern hybridization을 수행한 결과, 3.2 Kb와 5.5 Kb BamHI 절편과 15 Kb PstI 절편이 강한 혼성화 반응을 보여 이들 절편에 nifH,D 유전자가 존재함을 확인하였다. 동일 탐침을 사용한 colony hybridization을 통해 pWE15 cosmid vector 에 작성되 게놈 library로부터 하나의 nif-클론 (pEuNIF)을 선별하였다. 이 클론을 BamHI으로 절단한 후 동일한 탐침으로 혼성화 반응을 수행한 결과, 3.2 Kb와 5.5 Kb가 강한 혼성화 반응을 보였으며, 이 결과는 게놈 혼성화 반응 결과와 일치하였다. 그러나 Frankia FaC1의 nifH 만을 탐침으로 이용한 결과 3.2Kb BamHI 절편만이 혼성화 반응을 나타내었다. 또한 3.2 Kb의 3‘ 말단과 5.5 Kb의 5’ 말단의 염기서열로부터 추론한 아미노산 서열을 ArI3의 nifD와 비교한 결과 182번부터 240번까지, 241번부터 282번까지의 아미노산 서열과 각각 매우 높은 유사성을 보였다. 이러한 결과로부터 3.2Kb 절편에는 nifH와 일부의 nifD 서열이 존재하고, 이 절편에 연속된 5.5Kb 절편에는 나머지 nifD서열이 존재함을 알 수 있었다.

Let D be an integral domain, $\bar{D}$ be the integral closure of D, * be a star operation of finite character on D, $*_w$ be the so-called $*_w$-operation on D induced by *, X be an indeterminate over D, $N_*=\{f{\in}D[X]{\mid}c(f)^*=D\}$, and $Kr(D,*)=\{0\}{\cup}\{\frac{f}{g}{\mid}0{\neq}f,\;g{\in}D[X]$ and there is an $0{\neq}h{\in}D[X]$ such that $(c(f)c(h))^*{\subseteq}(c(g)c(h))^*$}. In this paper, we show that D is a *-quasi-Pr$\ddot{u}$fer domain if and only if $\bar{D}[X]_{N_*}=Kr(D,*_w)$. As a corollary, we recover Fontana-Jara-Santos's result that D is a Pr$\ddot{u}$fer *-multiplication domain if and only if $D[X]_{N_*} = Kr(D,*_w)$.

We have developed technology to fabricate large-size active matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) displays with good color purity. Using these innovations, we have developed a 40inch diagonal WXGA AMOLED full color display. Because the TFT circuitry occupies a large portion of the pixel structure, an efficient white emission OLED is essential to integrate the device onto the active matrix backplane. The development of these technologies enables OLED displays to fulfill the requirements for larger size applications such as HDTVs

The heat transfer and flow measurements were made on a cylindrical pedestal mounted on a flat plate with a turbulent impinging air jet. The heat transfer coefficient distributions on the flat plate were measured using the shroud-transient technique and liquid crystal was used to measure the surface temperature. The jet Reynolds number (Re) is 23,000, the dimensionless nozzle-to-surface distance (L/d) from 2 to 10, the dimensionless pedestal diameter-to-height (H/D) from 0 to 1.5, the dimensionless 2nd pedestal diameter-to-height ($H/D_2$) from 0 to 0.4 and the distance from the stagnation point to 2nd pedestal (p/D). The results show that for H/D = 0.5 to 1.5, the Nusselt number distributions on the plate surface exhibit a maximum between $r/d\;{\cong}\;1.0$ and 1.5. The presence of the pedestal appears to cause the flow separation and reattachment on the plate surface, which results in the maximum heal transfer coefficient. Also, for p/D = 2.5 and $H/D_2$ = 0.3, the local Nusselt number in the region corresponding to $r/d\;{\cong}\;1.1$ was increased up to 50% compared to that for $H/D_2=0$.

An analytic self-map ${\phi}$ of the open unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ in the complex plane and an analytic map ${\psi}$ on $\mathbb{D}$ induce the so-called weighted composition operator $C_{{\phi},{\psi}}$: $H(\mathbb{D})\;{\rightarrow}\;H(\mathbb{D})$, $f{\mapsto} \;{\psi}\;(f\;o\;{\phi})$, where H($\mathbb{D}$) denotes the set of all analytic functions on $\mathbb{D}$. We study when such an operator acting between different weighted Bergman spaces is bounded, compact and Schatten class.

Silica sulfuric acid (SSA)를 이용하여 ethylenediamine (EDA)과 o-phenylenediamine (o-PDA)을 2-(4-methylthio benzenesulfonyl)-1,3-dimethyl/1-methyl-3-phenyl/1,3-diphenyl/1-methyl-3-ethoxypropane-1,3-dione 3a-d과의 헤테로고리화 반응을 통하여 좋은 생리활성을 나타내는 1H-1,4-diazepines 4a-d과 3H-1,5-benzodiazepines 5a-d을 좋은 수율로 합성하였다. 이 반응에서 ${\beta}$-diketones/${\beta}$-ketoesters 3a-d는 4-methylthiobenzenesulfonyl chloride 1과 다양한 ${\beta}$-diketones/${\beta}$-ketoesters 2a-d과의 축합반응으로 합성하였으며, 합성한 4a-d와 5a-d 화합물들에 대해서 fantimicrobial, antifungal 및 anthelmintic 활성을 측정하였다.
