This study was conducted for silver generation women, age 60 and more. Questionnaire was answered by the total 291 of women. Frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA and Duncon-Test have been completed by using SPSS 12.0 tool. The conclusion of the study is below. First, silver generation women live in Seoul and South Gyeongsang Province. The data shows huge academic background gab among regions. Second, the following is the preferences found by 15 stimulants which expert groups identified based on demography. People in South Gyeongsang Province like default, tailored, three-button jacket more. People in South Gyeongsang Province prefer to Chanel jackets and people in their 70s prefer to it than in 60s, stand collar casual jacket for color and material, and the less they are educated, the more they like the jackets. And those who have less personal expenses tend to prefer to it. South Gyeongsang Province shows preference for semi polo-neck sweater. Highly educated did not show any preference for it. Women in their 70s tend to like blouses with round neckline. The data shows there is significant difference of preference for design, color and material for coloration vest between education levels. The less educated tends to like it. People in South Gyeongsang Province and those who live with their children are in favor with half sleeve jackets for colors and materials. All in Seoul and South Gyeongsang Province do not like three-quarter-length sleeve jackets because those jacket have wide and deep plunging neckline. The study showed people living in Seoul, in their 60s, highly-educated tend to favor polo shirts significantly. Seoul favor basic straight pants and people with any level of education excluding elementary prefer to it. The highly-educated and those who have a bigger allowance tend not to prefer to baggy trousers. In conclusion, Fifteen incentives (clothing design) for semi polo-neck sweaters, polo t-shirts, basic straight pants are more proper to silver generation women in their 60s, living in Seoul. Other designs are desirably applicable to customers on a national scale at middle prices.

Genetically modified domestic animals have many potential applications ranging from basic research to production agriculture. One of the goals in transgenic animal production schemes is to reliably predict the expression pattern of the foreign gene. Establishing a method to screen genetically modified embryos for transgene expression before transfer to surrogates may improve the likelihood of producing offspring with the desired expressing pattern. The Cretaceous granitic rocks show differences in rock types and chemical compositions according to metallogenic provinces of copper, lead zinc and molybdenum in the Gyeongsang basin. Jindong granites are of granodiorite~quartz diorite~diorite in Cu-province; Makeunsan/Yucheon-Eonyang granites, granodiorite~granite in Pb Zn-province; Onjeongri-Yeonghae granites, granodiorite~quartz diorite in Mo-province, and there is a trend that productive masses are less differenciated than barren masses in Cu and Pb-Zn provinces whereas productive masses are more differenciated than barren masses in Mo province. Metallogenic provinces are distinguishable by variations of major and trace elements. The Cretaceous granitic rocks are highest in the content of Ca, Mg and other basic major elements and lowest in the content of K and Na in Cu provicne; the variation trends are vice versa in Pb-Zn province. Trace elements such as Rb and Sr show variations related to K and Ca, and metallogenic provinces are also distinguishable by their ratios. The granitic rocks of Mo province have intermediate content of major and trace elements, but are clearly distinguishable from Jindong granites and partly overlapped by Yucheon-Eonyang granites. Chlorine content in biotites is higher in a productive mass than in a barren mass in Cu province. Therefore, the mineralogical and chemical compositions are applicable as geochemical index to distinguish the types of mineralizaion, and productive and barren masses of the Cretaceous granitic rocks in the Gyeongsang basin.
This study was conducted to estimate the best-fit nonlinear height-DBH growth models for Larix kaempferi in Gangwon and North Gyeongsang province in South Korea. Exponential, Modified Logistic, Chapman-Richards, and Weibull function were used for estimating height-DBH models. To evaluate the selected models, $R^2$, RMSE, MD, MAD, and residual plots were performed in each model. Also, the coefficients and patterns in models of the previous studies were compared with those in this study. The result showed that Weibull equation was found to be the best-fit model with $R^2$=0.9837, RMSE=2.6133, MD=0.0089, and MAD=2.0896. All model parameters in our study had similar values to those in the previous models except for asymptotic parameter a. Our research result showed that Gangwon and North Gyeongsang province were superior to other provinces with regard to height growth for Larix kaempferi.
A thysanopteran pest pest was collected from the damaged leaves of Fuyu persimmon (Diospyrosi kaki) at Changwon, Gyeongnam province in June, 2000. The thrips was identified as Japanese gall-forming thrips, Ponticulothrips diospyrosi(Phlaeothripidae). which is newly recorded in Korea. Brief morphological and ecological characters, damage symptoms, and distribution in Gyeongnam province were provided.

The Cretaceous magmatism in the Gyeongsang Basin, which intruded into the upper crust or extruded throughout ENE-trending volcanic belts in southern Korea, led to the formation of two contrasting metallogeinic provinces: the Haman-Gunbug-Goseong and the Euiseong. The Haman-Gunbug-Goseong metallogenic province in the southwestern portion of the Gyeongsang Basin consists of dominantly nonmarine sedimentary rocks (e.g., the Sindong and Hayang groups) which are rarely intercalated with andesitic pyroclastics and flows. Purpose: Accidental vaccination with a live attenuated low-virulence strain of Miyagi (LOM) vaccine led to the reemergence of classical swine fever virus (CSFV) in Jeju province, South Korea in 2014. To control the continual outbreaks of LOM-derived CSFV, the provincial government launched a provincial mass vaccination project using a CSF-E2 subunit vaccine. We conducted this study to assess the herd immunity level and outcomes of E2 vaccine-based immunization in breeding and growing herds on Jeju Island during 2020-2021. Materials and Methods: A large-scale vaccination trial using the Bayovac CSF-E2 vaccine investigated its efficacy in breeding and growing herds under farm application conditions (10 CSFV-affected and three CSFV-naïve swine farms). Results: The level of herd immunity in each farm was classified into three (S1-S3) and six (G1-G6) profiles in breeding and growing herds, respectively. Immunity monitoring revealed a remarkable improvement in the herd immunity status in all farms. The majority (10/13) of farms, including CSFV-free farms, showed the S1G1 immunity profile in 2021, indicating the appropriate implementation of the advised vaccination regime. Moreover, there were significant decreases in Erns seropositivity from 100% to 50% and 25.9% to 4.3% at farm and pig levels, respectively. In particular, all farms were confirmed as CSFV free in the growing-finishing herds. Conclusion: Our large-scale trial demonstrated the effectiveness of the E2 subunit vaccine in establishing herd immunity stabilization and eliminating CSFV circulation in the affected farms and highlighted the need for a provincial vaccination policy to regain the CSF-free status on Jeju Island.
The flower industry in Gyeongnam Province is the second largest flower producing area after Gyeonggi Province in Korea. Gyeongnam Province is also one of the provinces where flower industry was first introduced, which has started in the middle of 1960s. The share of Gyeongnam Province was 16.2% in area and 14.3% in sales in 2006. The most outstanding feature of Gyeongnam's flower industry is that it has been particularly specialized in cut-flower industry, the share of which was 77.6% of Gyeongnam Province in area. Another feature is that the industry continued to be shrunk in size due to the expansion of urban area. For Gyeongnam's floral industry to be competitive not only in domestic market but in international market, its competitiveness in quality and price is kept being promoted. In addition, the availability of land is essential to the growth of the flower industry of Gyeongnam Province.

This work is to describe the geomorphological features of Dongcheon-gugok in the Eastern Part of Gyeongsang Province, and attempt to develop a basic data for traditional natural heritage. The bedrocks of the study area is typically sedimentary rocks of Gyeongsang Series. Dongcheon-gugok in the study area is almost distributed in the valley of Taebaek Mountain range in Gyeongbuk Province. These valleys almost belong to tributaries of Nakdong River, and are characterized by narrow meandering valley in the moutainous region. Dongcheon-gugok in the study area is located in these valleys with steep slopes or rocky cliffs. And there are pools, point-bar with sands and gravels, riffles, etc in the river valley. Ancesters named these landscape with Jeolbyuk(rocky cliff), Bong(peak), Dam(pool), Tan(ripple), Cheonsa(point-bar), Pok(waterfall), Dae(hill), etc.

This paper predicts the onion's cultivation areas, yields per unit area, and wholesale prices during ship dates by using wholesale price data from the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, the production data from the Statistics Korea, and the weather data from the Korea Meteorological Administration with an ARDL model. By analyzing the data of wholesale price, rural household income and rural total earnings, onion cultivation areas in 2015 are estimated to be 21,035, 17,774 and 20,557(ha). In addition, onion yields per unit area of South Jeolla Province, North Gyeongsang Province, South Gyeongsang Province, Jeju Island, and the whole country in 2015 are estimated to be 5,980, 6,493, 6,543, 6,614, 6,139 (kg/10a) respectively. By using onion production's predictive value found from onion's cultivation areas and yields per unit area in 2015, the onion's wholesale prices in June are estimated to be 780 won, 1,100 won, and 820 won for each model. Predicted monthly price after the onion's ship dates is analyzed to exceed 1,000 won after August.
