  • Currently, the whole world is being swept away by spiritual movements. Since the Three Kingdoms periods, Korea has been under the influence of "The Three Teachings". But during the modern times, the word "The Three Daos" began to be widely used alongside the expression "The Three Teachings" within various circles of New Korean Religions. Regarding this, Daesoon Thought is particularly noteworthy due to its description of the religious realm spoken of as "Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism" and the figurehead of that realm, the "Gwan-wang (Crowned King)". This study suggests that there should be a distinction noting the differences between "The Three Teachings" and "The Three Daos" in order to understand the status of the "Gwan-wang" in Daesoon Thought and to facilitate the study Buddhism as both a religion and a religious principle within the context of "The Gwan-wang of the Three Daos". Chapter II, details the conceptions of "Dao" and "Teaching" in the Eastern tradition and "Religion" in the Western tradition. This chapter includes a discussion of how the word "The Three Daos" could be approached as a "Theory of the Three Daos" that explains the religions of the East and the West through comprehensive principles. Chapter III goes through descriptions in the Jeon-gyeong of Buddhistic faiths, doctrines, monks, and temples to discover the meaning of the Dao of Buddhism and Buddhist culture as contained in the Jeon-gyeong. In chapter IV, the Buddhistic characteristics of Daesoon Thought is clarified in three ways: the Dao of Buddhism as the "substance of form", oneness as "growth and nurturing", and "Jinmuk" as the leader of the Dao of Buddhism. From this discussion, it is shown that research on the Dao of Buddhism in Daesoon Thought is a crucial avenue for understanding the identity of Daesoon Thought. In other words, the status of Daesoon Thought is not irrelevant to the Dao of Buddhism or to Buddhism proper, but Daesoon Thought should instead be understood as pursuing the state of Gwan-wang (Crowned King), which has the Dao of Buddhism as an axis characterized as "the substance of form" or as "growth and nurturing". Also, it provides a comprehensive view by which the various aspects of Buddhism as a modern day religious phenomenon of can be understood under the principle of the Dao of Buddhism.

  • The leafhopper genus Batracomorphus Lewis, 1834 belongs to the tribe Batracomorphini (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha: Cicadellidae: Iassinae). B. irroratus Lewis, 1834 was designated as its type species. The genus includes most diverse species in the subfamily Iassinae and contains approximately 350 described species from the world. In Korea, four Batracomorphus species, B. allioni (Turton, 1802), B. punctilliger Anufriev, 1981, B. stigmaticus (Matsumura, 1912), B. viridulus (Melichar, 1902), have been reported in the Korean peninsula. The members of this genus have a similar body size and similar general appearances; thus, it is very difficult to identify clearly without examining the male's genital structures. In this study, Batracomorphus furcatus Li and Wang, 2003 is newly reported from Korea for the first time. This species is previously known to be from China. Herein, the morphological information of B. furcatus Li and Wang is provided with a re-description, photographs of the male dorsal habitus, illustrations of the genitalia structure and distributional records. In addition, a key to the Korean five species of Batracomorphus is presented.

  • $TiO_2$ pastes was synthesized to obtained of high efficiency dye-sensitized solar cells using size dependent co-polymer. SBM co-polymer binder is consist of styrene, n-butyl acrylate, and methacrylic acid (SBM) monodisperse co-polymer binder materials and this $TiO_2$ pastes were applied of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The photoanodes were characterized by ATR-Fourier Transform spectrometer, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and morphology was investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The photoelectrochemical properties of the thin films and the performance of DSSCs were measured by photovoltaic-current density, AC impedance and monochromatic incident photon-to-current conversion efficiency (IPCE). DSSC based on the 100nm size co-polymer binder was obtained conversion efficiency of 8.1% under irradiation of AM 1.5(100 $mWcm^2$).

  • The development of an automatic delivery sorter requires enormous cost and time, and actually it is a key business which gains control of the future of postal service for national economy. In this paper, we select executive alternatives considering the restrictive conditions both in physically and technically such as installation location, OCR location, and the types of VCS. Then, we evaluated selected alternatives through the analysis of a cost and a performance. And we also performed economy analysis reflecting on the qualitative factors.

  • This study investigated the history of Japanese delegation and their route to Han-Yang(Seoul) and reception and all sorts of facilities to elucidate the characteristics of the reception for Japaneses delegates and all sorts of facilities in the period of Chosun dynasty. The results of the study are as follows; 1) In the early period of the Chosun dynasty, diplomatic facilities for Japanese delegates were established in Pusanpo(Pusan), Jepo, Yumpo and also delegates were invited to Han-Yang through the designated route. 2) Japanese from all areas of Japan have been correspond to Chosun, and many Buddhist monks were reside to draw up the diplomatic document. Also, temples were built in Janpanese style. 3) In case of visit of the most reverend priest of Japan(Wang-guk-sa), Ta-rae-i and Su-pe-re were performed at Yun-dae-chung and Kaek-sa in Pusan. 4) Because of establishing diplomatic facilities (We-Gwan) and other supporting facilities (Kwan-A), Pusan has developed as only one diplomatic city in the period of Chosun dynasty.
