Variant angina causes chest pain due to abnormal coronary vasospasms. A 60-year-old male who was diagnosed with variant angina was admitted to the Oriental Medicine Hospital and treated with herbal medicines, including Pyungjinsujeom-san and Simjeok-hwan. After treatment, the frequency of chest pain and use of nitroglycerin decreased. Subjective symptoms of chest pain measured using a numerical rating scale (NRS) also decreased. These improvements persisted throughout the hospitalization period. In conclusion, Korean medicines, including Pyungjinsujeom-san and Simjeok-hwan, can be effective for patients with chest pain due to variant angina.

Alcoholic Korsakoff's psychosis is a clonic amnestic syndrome caused by alcohol abuse. It is characteristic of hypomnesis, disorientation and confabulation. We experienced a 53 year-old man who had a alcoholic korsakoff's syndrome, DM and general weakness and whose condition was improved through Oriental medical treatment. This case study illustrates what the manifestation of alcoholic korsakoff's syndrome is and how alcoholic korsakoff's syndrome improved.

In induction motor, The harmonics would be produced, and that cause the torque ripple and vibration of motor. So, it is necessary to analyze exactly the torque ripple components and the vibration of motor by harmonics. In this paper, By using the sinusoidal waveform, 6 step waveform, PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) waveform, analyzed induction motor characteristics.

Objectives : To study the cervical lordosis and roentgenographic analysis of cervical disc space in neck pain with or without temporomandibular disorder(TMD). Methods : Radiographic measures of cervical lordosis, cervical disc space narrowing were collected, statiscally analyzed. Results : TMD group showed a significant increase in cervical lordotic angle as compared with non-TMD group, whereas no significant change in cervical disc degeneration. Conclusions : The findings from this study suggest that the curvature of the cervical spine is related to the subject's TMD.

우리는 가상 현실 환경에서 사람이 직접 옷을 입지 않은 상황에서 미리 피팅 상황을 확인할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 이를 위하여 우리는 시스템을 이용한 카메라 촬영과 결과를 출력하는 기능, 그리고 영상처리에서 사람 얼굴 인지, 및 그에 대한 내용을 기반으로 옷을 오버레이하는 기능을 구현하였다. 추가 기능으로는 사람 손동작 인지를 통한 커맨드 제어, 딥러닝을 이용하여 사람의 얼굴에 어울리는 옷을 추천해주는 추천 서비스를 구현하였다.

블록체인은 2009년 이후 여러 산업군(금융, 유통, 암호화폐등)에서 만들어졌으며 특정 사업에서 utility기능을 수행하는 것을 목표로 개발되고 유통되고 있다. 하지만 블록체인은 실생활에 사용하기에 아직 많은 제약이 존재하기 때문에 활성화가 안 되고 있다. 본 연구는 블록체인의 운용 시 존재하는 여러 제약들을 블록체인 승인시스템을 통하여 해결하고자 한다.

Paralytic ileus is one of the common complications in stroke patients. In western medical treatment, surgery or conservative care is used for treating ileus. In this case, patient diagnosed as paralytic ileus had problems of constipation, or abdominal distension. Therefore the patient were treated with Crotonis Fructus(巴豆), and the patient showed improvement in X-ray findings and these symptoms. So we report this case.

다수의 사고가 발생되는 소형 선박에 반해 대형 선박을 위주로 제공되고 있는 스마트 해상 물류 시스템을 뒷받침하기 위하여 소형 선박에서 자주 발생할 수 있는 사고의 유형과 그 예상 확률을 제공하는 시스템을 연구하고 제공한다. 로지스틱 분류를 통해 사고의 확률을 예측하며 추천 알고리즘을 활용한 발생 가능성이 높은 사고의 유형을 도출하여 소형 선박용 e-navigation 을 제공한다.

Objective: This case study describes the use of traditional Korean medicine to relieve chest pain and headaches in a patient with ischemic heart disease. Methods: The patient was treated with a range of traditional Korean medicine, including acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbal medicines (Gamiondam-tang and Cheonmabanhwa-tang-gagambang). The Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) was used to measure the patient's status and improvements in the frequency of symptoms. Results: After the treatment, the NRS score for chest pain and headaches decreased from 6 to 0. In addition, chest discomfort and palpitations almost subsided. Conclusion: This clinical case study suggested that Gamiondam-tang and Cheonmabanhwa-tang-gagambang could be effective in relieving chest discomfort and headaches.

The authors present two cases of lytic skull metastasis from thyroid carcinoma. The first case is a 62-year-old female who was diagnosed as thyroid cancer one year ago. She complained a mass over the right parietal area but showed no neurological abnormalities. The mass didn't invade the dura, and was completely removed. Histopathological examination revealed the insular thyroid carcinoma, composed of undifferenciated cells that were responded to thyroglobulin in immunohistochemical staining. The second case is a 75-year-old female who complained a mass over the right parietal and neck area without any neurological abnormality. The mass was confined to the epidural region which was associated with osteolytic change of skull. It was also completely removed. Histopathological examination of mass revealed the follicular thyroid carcinoma.
