In general, the guided weapon seeker and the guided control device process the target, search, recognition, and capture information to indicate the state of the guided missile, and play a role in controlling the operation and control of the guided weapon. The signals required for guided weapons are gaze change rate, visual signal, and end-stage fuselage orientation signal. In order to process the complex and difficult-to-process missile signals of recent missiles in real time, it is necessary to increase the data processing speed of the missiles. This study showed the processing speed after applying the stop and go and inverse enumeration algorithm among the parallel algorithm methods of PINQ and comparing the processing speed of the signal data required for the guided missile in real time using the guided missile inspection program. Based on the derived data processing results, we propose an effective method for processing missile data when applying a parallel processing algorithm by comparing the processing speed of the multi-core processing method and the single-core processing method, and the CPU core utilization rate.

Launching tube is a kind of case to protect the guided weapons from external environments and conducted as a guide when they are fired. The guided weapons have been firmly kept at the launching tube and transferred, and would be separated at the required time when they are fired To meet the aim, it has been used explosive bolts which are reliable and efficient mechanical fastening devices having the special feature of a built-in release. The disadvantage of explosive bolt lies in that it is based on the high explosive effect of a pyrotechnic charge. When the explosive bolt is ignited, there are some bad effects; a flame, fragments and pyro-shock. Because of these bad effects there are many restriction to use bolt as joining devices to precision guided weapons. To solve these problems, the aim of the present work is to invent the ball-type separation bolt which is a pyrotechnically releasable mechanical linking device for two mechanical elements that does not suffer from such drawbacks. A standard pressure cartridge can moreover be easily integrated inside the device according to the present work and this with no modification to its structure. The present work was represented quantitatively the margin of separation safety and analysed separation mechanism in ball type separating bolt to perform the dynamic separation test.

To solve the problem of frequent component failure in guided weapons, a process of component failure in developed countries was investigated and analyzed. The suitability of component control, including risk assessment, analysis of operational impact, and the establishment of response measures, was also demonstrated. In addition, the economic effects of component control were presented by estimating the costs incurred if component control is performed in advance, after-sales, and non-management. DMSMS problems refer to losses or impending losses of an item, raw material, or software manufacturer or supplier. A problem with the discontinuation of parts occurs when the manufacturer or supplier ceases to produce and support the necessary parts, materials, or software, or when the supply of raw materials is no longer possible. Hence, it is important to recognize that failure to all parts of the system can occur.

Guided weapon is very excellent strategy system than conventional weapons. Recently, several devices and a technology developed much developing more, inertia measuring device is one example. Inertia measuring device is device that is used to improe more accuracy of guided weapon, this device is operated by sensors of inside. Sensors of inside are parts that is very sensitive about impact or shock, heat that interact when shoot, it is main purpose that verify durability of sensor by heat delivered from outside in this study.

Recently, because Global Positioning System (GPS) achieves accuracy for engagement of enemy targets, GPS guided weapons have a wide range of applications from land through sea to air. Especially, when GPS guided weapon is then launched, it reads current position and searches a course to the target. As we all know, because GPS signals are weak, these signals can be affected by interference. If jamming signal is strong enough, it can jam the receiver of GPS guided weapon. Therefore, anti-jamming technique is an important thing under these conditions. In this paper, the controlling azimuth angle was used to improve navigation performance of precision guided missile under jamming conditions. First of all, precision missiles by GPS positioning such as SLAM-ER and JDAM were investigated. Also, the azimuth cutoff angle of satellites for usable navigation under jamming signals was analyzed by experimental tests. As a result, we found that azimuth cutoff angle under 140 degree can help ensure continuous GPS reception under the missile guidance.

Explosive bolt is coupled in a variety of guided weapons and space projectiles, to perform the separation function. Thus, the role of the explosive bolt in guided weapons systems is very important, as it can cause failure of the entire system in the case of mission failure. For this reason, the design life prediction for explosive bolt is highly and frequently required recently, but its accurate prediction method has not been presented. In order to apply the existing accelerated aging process, we should know the activation energy and the acceleration factor of the explosive bolt. Since the information required for accelerated aging is not presently secured, it is difficult to predict the design life of explosive. Thus, in the present study, we have evaluated the performance of actual explosive bolts in the condition of natural aging over 10 years in order to present a minimum design life.

The composite lattice structure is a structure that supports the required load with the minimum weight and thickness. Composite lattice structure is manufactured by the filament winding process using impregnating high-strength carbon fiber with an epoxy resin. Filament winding process can laminate and manufacture only structurally necessary parts, composite lattice structure can be applied to aircraft fuselages, satellite and launch vehicles, and guided weapons to maximize weight reduction. In this paper, the development and evaluation of the composite lattice structure corresponding to the entire process from design, analysis, fabrication, and evaluation of large-scale cylindrical and conical composites lattice structure were performed. To be applicable to actual projectiles and guided weapons, we developed a cylindrical lattice structure with a diameter of 2,600 mm and a length of 2,000 mm, and a conical lattice structure with an upper diameter of 1,300 mm, a lower diameter of 2,500 mm, and a length of 900 mm. The performance of the developed composite lattice structure was evaluated through a load test.
In the performance analysis of a weapon system, the combat effectiveness is difficult to go beyond the conceptual level in the early stages of development. This is especially true in the case of new concept of weapon system that has never existed before. In this study, with the aim of analyzing the effectiveness of small personal guided weapons, the design of the warhead and the detonation test were carried out and the results were analyzed. Afterwards, trajectory of fragments were calculated from the results, and it is applied to the anti-personnel effectiveness logic which is a part of combat simulation tool. At the same time, delivery accuracy logic was constructed from Monte-Carlo simulation with 6-DOF trajectory model. Subsequent simulated experiments were conducted with test scenarios to confirm the simulation logic reflecting the results of the warhead detonation tests for verifying the simulation approach of weapon systems, and it was confirmed that the simulation logic incorporating the results of the warhead detonation tests functioned properly.
Reliability is the priority matter in guided weapon systems. The reliability prediction data is used during the devel opment stage as the manufacturing cost is very high and the production quantity if quite limited. At the same time it takes relatively a long period of time to acquire a reliable operation data set after deployment such that in order t o determine the operational reliability, weapons must be tested and analyzed in real operating environments. For the research, the life distributions were estimated by using actual operation data and the reliability was calculated by ap plying the method of least squares and maximum likelihood estimation. Also, the comparisons were made between pr edicted reliability and actual operational reliability. As a result, the actual reliability of each system was higher than predicted reliability and it was considered that such a difference was caused by the fact that the application of the l atest designing technology and improved parts to the guided weapon systems was not reflected on the estimation of predicted reliability. It was possible to confirm the actual operational reliability of domestic (ROK) guided weapon sy stems through this research and the methods used here will contribute to the reliability analyses for the future guide d weapon systems to be developed.
