카메라를 이용한 이동 로봇 주행 제어 (Navigation Control for a Mobile Robot using a Camera)

  • This paper presents a navigation method for a mobile robot which can follow a path drawn on a monitor screen. The current position and heading direction of the mobile robot are obtained using a single camera from a single image of the guide mark projected on a convex mirror. This proposed method eliminates the need to rotate or tilt the camera to track the guide mark, because the convex mirror and a stationary camera provide a panoramic view of the surrounding area. As guide marks, fluorescent lamps on the ceiling, door frames, or any other natural line segment can be used without adding any artificial elements to them.

기계가공 최적화를 위한 가이드시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on Guide System for Optimization of Machining Process)

  • The optimization in the machining process has been a long-standing goal of the manufacturing community. The optimization is composed of two main subjects;one is to select an optimum cutting condition, and the other is to detect the emergency situation and take necessary actions in real-time base. This paper proposes a reliable and practical guide system whose purpose is the optimization of cutting conditions, and the detection of tool failure in the machining process. The optimal cutting conditions are determined through the estimation of tool wear rate and the establishment of access- ible field from the measured cutting temperature and force. Tool breakage is detected by the normal force component acting on minor flank face extracted from on-line sensed feed force and radial force. In experiments, the proposed guide system has proved availability for the decision of reliable cutting conditions for the given tool-work system and the detection of tool breakage in ordinary cutting environments.

A novel method to specify pattern recognition of actuators for stress reduction based on Particle swarm optimization method

  • This paper is focused on stiffness ratio effect and a new method to specify the best pattern of piezoelectric patches placement around a hole in a plate under tension to reduce the stress concentration factor. To investigate the stiffness ratio effect, some different values greater and less than unity are considered. Then a python code is developed by using particle swarm optimization algorithm to specify the best locations of piezoelectric actuators around the hole for each stiffness ratio. The results show that, there is a line called "reference line" for each plate with a hole under tension, which can guide the location of actuator patches in plate to have the maximum stress concentration reduction. The reference line also specifies that actuators should be located horizontally or vertically. This reference line is located at an angle of about 65 degrees from the stress line in plate. Finally two experimental tests for two different locations of the patches with various voltages are carried out for validation of the results.

조선소 판넬라인의 위험요인 분석 및 안전관리 Application 개발 (Analysis of the Risk Factors and Design of the Safety Management Application for the Panel Line in a Shipyard)

  • The process of panel line in the shipyard produce the panel of outside planking which is located the side and bottom of a ship. The stiffeners or plates are welded onto the plates in this process. In this study, the panel line was performed to work process analysis and was analyzed into the IDEF0(Integration Definition) model that is functional modeling methodology. Also the panel line was analyzed to find out the risk factor and expected accident/safety guide from each process. And then this outputs were applied to the IDEF0 model. The mobile application which is designed by ooCBD(Object-oriented Component Based Development) method is able to use the output data of the process analysis in the panel line. This mobile application could be used by employees and safety managers without regard for working location and time.

자기공명영상으로 분류한 소아 임파관종 주사 요법의 평가 (Evaluation of Intralesional Injection Therapy for Pediatric Lymphangiomas Classified with MRI)

  • Pediatric lymphangioma can occur at any site. However the neck is the most common site. There are two treatment modalities (surgical excision and intralesional injection) for lymphangiomas. But, the treatment guide line for lymphangioma has not been established, yet. The aim of this study is to establish the treatment guide line based on our experience with lymphangiomas. Medical records of 82 cases of lymphangioma were reviewed retrospectively. On MRI (magnetic resonance image) findings, lymphangiomas were divided into 4 groups by the proportion of the cyst bigger than 2 cm in diameter of the tumor; group A-proportion of cyst occupies more than 75%, group B-proportion of the cyst 50~75%, group C-25~50%, and D in less than 25%. All patients were treated with OK-432 intralesional injection as the initial treatment. The effective response rates of OK-432 in group A & B were 88.2% and 88.8%, respectively. Group C response was 38.0% and D only 20.0%. Twenty-three patients received surgical excision. The result of surgical excision was generally satisfactory. Surgical site infection occurred in 1 case and postoperative bleeding in 1 case. Theses results indicate that intralesional injection of OK-432 could be the first line therapy in group A & B. In group C, OK-432 would be better as the first line therapy than surgery. For the group D, surgical excision should be the first line of treatment.

  • 모노레일은 그동안 과좌식과 현수식으로 분류 되어 왔으나 세계 최초로 도입한 중앙 안내 방식의 인천 월미은하레일은 신개념의 Y Beam을 가이드 레일로 사용한 새로운 형식의 모노레일이라 할 수 있다. Y Beam은 안내륜을 통해 모노레일의 수평 하중을 전달하는 역할을 담당하고 있기 때문에 수직 하중을 타이어를 통해 전달 받는 콘크리트 바닥 및 강재 Beam과 함께 모노레일의 주행 안전에 없어서는 안 될 가장 중요한 구조물이다. 본 연구에서는 수평 하중을 감당하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 모노레일의 안정과 안내를 함께 보장 하면서 급전선을 지지하는 역할도 동시에 담당하고 있는 Y Beam과 Y Beam을 고정하는 클램프의 특성과 안전성에 대해 고찰하였다.

  • In this research on-line model for the prediction of the effective strain distribution in strip on finishing mill process is presented. To describe the effective strain distribution in strip, three guide points and a distribution fitting variable are used. On-line models to get these points and fitting variable non-dimensionalization method and least square method were used with FEM simulation results. The model is developed using strip only FEM simulation as reference sets and compared with roll coupled FEM simulation results as perturbed sets. The on-line model to describe effective strain distribution shows good agreement with coupled FEM analysis results.

실증시험선로를 이용한 도체귀로형 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로의 이온류 특성 평가 (Ion Effects of HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole Overhead Transmission Line with Metallic Return Conductor Using Full-scale Test Line)

  • 국내에 향후 건설 예정인 도체귀로형 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로의 최적선로 형상을 설계하고 송전선로에서 발생되는 전기환경장해를 검증하기 위해 실증시험장을 구축하여 1년간 전기환경장해 평가시험을 수행하였다. 또한, HVDC Double Bipole 실선로에서 인체의 지표면 전계인지도 평가시험을 통해 HVDC 실규모 실증선로 직하에서 인체가 직류 전계를 감지하는 임계값을 조사하여 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로의 직류전계 설계기준안의 타당성을 검증하였다. HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 시험선로의 극형상은 전기환경장해와 운영관점에서 동일한 극성을 대각으로 배치하였으며, 국내 가공송전선로의 전기환경장해의 사회적인 수용성을 고려하여 선로에서 코로나방전이 거의 발생되지 않도록 소도체 방식은 6 도체를 선정하였다. 도체귀로형 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로 방식인 Cardinal×6B를 적용한 실증시험결과, 선로 도체에서 코로나 방전이 거의 발생되지 않았으며, 따라서 지표면 전계와 이온전류밀도는 모두 국내 가공송전선로 설계 기준값을 만족하였다. 또한 선로직하에서 피조사자들에 대한 전계 인지도 평가결과, 피조사자들의 70%는 23 kV/m에 노출되어도 직류전계를 인지하지 못하는 결과를 나타냈다.
