One stream of the GDSS(Group Decision Support System) research is to investigate how GDSS affects decision performances of small groups according to task types, support features, meeting facilitation modes and meeting environments. But little study has investigated the effects of group member characteristics on group decision processes and outcomes depending upon whether GDSS is provided or not. To date, most GDSS studies have not controlled group member characteristics(e,g. personality, sex, decision style) in laboratory experiments. However, this study included the decision styles of group members as an independent variable. Therefore, this study investigated how differently members of two different decision styles perceive the use of GDSS in small group meetings through lab experiments. The two decision styles are feeling(F) style and thinking(T) style. We found that the effect of GDSS is a function of individual's decision style only in the communication thoroughness variable. The decision style is a statistically significant factor that can mediate the effects of the group support technology on the perceived communication thoroughness. Specifically, the GDSS is positively related to participants' perception about satisfaction on decision process, goal achievement, communication thoroughness, degree of influence-outward and effort for achieving meeting goals.
This study aims to understand how consumers consume by presenting the concept of 'consumption style' and the meaning of consumption for modern consumers. As modern consumers cannot lead their daily lives without engaging in consumption, their daily lives are deeply related to consumption. However, we have not been largely interested in how we manage consumption. It is a fact that marketing-oriented studies are focused on consumers for the establishment of corporate activities and strategies until now. For the analysis of the research, SPSS for Windows and AMOS were used. In order to examine the general characteristics of the investigation object, the technical statistics of frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation were obtained. To develop the research item analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and cluster analysis were conducted. Based on the meaning of consumption through the consideration of preceding studies, the consumption style was extracted with 4 economic, socio-cultural, psychological and ethical perspectives. Also, 4groups were classified according to the type of consumption style: professional consumers, practical consumers, indifferent consumers and emotional consumers.
This paper describes pop stars' fashion style by the changes of pop music from the 1950's of the formative Period of a rock-n-roll to the 1990's. The author could examine the features of pop music as follows : the 1950's rock-n-roll, the 1960's rock and Psychedelic rock. the 1970's punk rock, the 1980's new wave and the 1990's reggae·hip-hop. Based on the examination, the author could do sampling of the fashion style, on which current pop music had influence, by rock style, new wave style, and reggae hip-hop style. The rock style makes appearance again as a new style when it is recently accepted to be a fashion. The 1960's hippie, which contains long-cherished desire of antiwar and peace after September 11, 2001 Attack on America and the Afghan War. reappeared as luxurious hippie, and the hybrid punk has been made because barriers between cultures have been collapsed to mix items and combine contradicting components at fashion field. The new wave style destroys sex difference of clothes. and men's clothes style has introduced women's dress style, so that androgynous style, which has handsome boy image with womanlike hair style and makeup, and the lingerie style without distinction of underwear and outer garment has made appearance through new cloth wearing ways and overexposure. The reggae and hip-hop style makes appearance to overcome social strata, groups, ages, regions and gender, etc and become one of the 21s1 century culture codes. In conclusion, pop music have played very important roles until expansion and popularity of new fashion style, and has been quickly expanded by mass media development. When the pop music fashion styles are introduced to high fashion, fashion styles have become more polished and high-qualify to expand them at main fashion world again.
Or this research, it was investigated the differences in the pro-environmental behaviors in purchase, use and management, and disposal of clothing by socio-demographic characteristics and other variables. In addition, it was classified Korean consumers into several comsumer groups based on the different purchase behavior style, and then investigated the difference among these consumer groups in purchase, use and management, and disposal of clothing in light of the pro-environmental behavior. The following is the summary of the main results. First, consumers with high income and ha41g a lot of clothing were less likely to purchase used-clothing while consumers who were non-married and in low-income status were more likely to rent clothing. In additions, female, married consumers, and consumers with less-educated were more likely to manage their clothing frequently. Second, it was classified consumers into several groups based on the different purchase behavior style, these were "rational purchasing", "saving-money purchasing", "regretting for their purchasing", and "over-purchasing". Third, "saving-money purchasing" group showed a high expenditure rate in the purchase of used-clothing but a low rate in "over-purchasing" group. The frequency of management of clothing was the highest in the group of "over-purchasing" and the next in the group of "saving-money purchasing". The group of "over-purchasing" were more likely to show irrational decision-making style, manage and disposal their clothing frequently, "saving-money purchasing" purchased used-clothing frequently, and the level of management of clothing were less in the group of "regretting for their purchasing".

The purpose of this study is to observe the rapidly changing men's fashion style in the contemporary society and to analyze the features related to the major-subject groups, male university students. This information could be used for clothing companies to plan commodities, divide markets, and develop designs. The results are as follows. First, several opinions were varied among students' majors. For the opinion about the male students focusing on their external appearance, the students from all majors said that it depends on individual preference. For 4 reasons of external appearances, students from all majors frequently said that they should adjust their external appearance for employment. For the opinion about what is considered the most in the purchase of clothing, most of the students considered about the design of the cloth. For the opinion about influences on the purchase of clothing, major of the students were influenced by their friend or colleague. on the other hand, the students from artistic talent and physical education mentioned other opinion that it depends that it depends on situation and own intention is most important. Second, for the question about clothing behavior, with regard to monthly average shopping control expense, the students from all majors mentioned the amount less than KRW 50,000. For the opinion about the number of shopping, most student mentioned once a season. For the opinion about the store to purchase dress, most students mentioned the use of large shopping mall but the students from business administration and economy mentioned the use of discount store. Third, for the question about preferred style and preferred brand, with regard to the opinion about usual style, the students from all majors have worn casual style. For the opinion about the preferred style, most students mentioned casual style. For the opinion about man's accessory wearing, the students from all majors mentioned that it is good and for the opinion about coordination item, most students mentioned bag.
The purposes of this study were to investigate life style and various clothing purchasing behaviors of female consumers, and to analyze the differences of life style and clothing purchasing behaviors by 3 age groups(adolescence, middle age, and senescence). The subjects were 750 adult women aged from twenties to sixties who live in Daejeon and Chungnam province. The research method is a survey and research instruments consisted of life style questionnaire, clothing purchasing behaviors questionnaires, and demographic attribution. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, variance analysis, Duncan's multiple range test and $X^2$ test, using SPSS program. The research results are follows. First, 6 factors were emerged in life style(appearance-oriented, achieve-oriented, social life-oriented, economic- oriented, equality of sexes-oriented, and leisure- oriented). Second, 5 factors were emerged in shopping orientation(resonable shopping, conspicuous shopping, voluptuous shopping, devoted shopping, and convenient shopping). Third, clothing purchasing behaviors of adult women showed many differences by age groups. Adolescence women considered more criterion including design, price, and color or pattern, purchased their clothing by psychological reason such as fashion change, and used internet as important source of clothing, whereas senescence women purchased by physical reason such as body size change and functional trouble, used friend and sales person as important source of clothing, and purchased clothing at department store and old style market.
The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of personality style and emotional dysregulation on female adolescents' eating attitude, and the mediating effect of emotional dysregulation on the relationship between personality style and eating attitude. For this research, questionnaires on personality style, emotional dysregulation and eating attitude were administered to 1370 female high school students based in Seoul. Among 1370 questionnaires collected, 1239 were selected and statistically analyzed by frequency analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS Win 21.0. The main findings of the study are as follows: First, according to female adolescents' BMI, the level of their eating attitude differed significantly. Second, according to female adolescents' BMI, female adolescents' personality style and emotional dysregulation were found to affect their eating attitude significantly. Third, emotional dysregulation had a mediating effect on the relationship between female adolescents' personality style and eating attitude. To be more specific, for the normal weight group of female adolescents, emotional dysregulation was found to have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between sociotropy and eating attitude, and a full mediating effect on the relationship between autonomy and eating attitude. On the contrary, for the overweight and obese groups of female adolescents, emotional dysregulation was found to have a full mediating effect on the relationship between sociotropy and eating attitude, and a partial mediating effect on the relationship between autonomy and eating attitude. The results of the study show the ways in which personality and emotional traits contribute to female adolescents' eating attitude according to their BMI, and provide useful information for treatment of adolescents' eating disorder in clinical settings.

The main purpose of this study was to examine the effects of interpretive style reading materials on high school students philosophical viewpoints on science. Subjects for this study were 137 girl students in four classes of a high school located in Daejeon city. The classes were divided into two groups: experimental groups and control groups. Students in the experimental groups were administered a series of the reading materials over thirty-six sessions. Additionally, PPP(Philosophical Perspectives Prove) was used in order to assess students philosophical viewpoints on science. Results of the study showed that the interpretive style reading materials takes effect on the change of students philosophical viewpoints on science. At the initial stage, a number of students exhibited viewpoints inclined toward inductivism. As time goes by, however, viewpoint of inductivism was decreased and view of falcificationism and view of relativism were increased. The results also indicated that the effect of intervention was stable.
The purposes of this study were (1) to segment female college students' apparel shoppers into unique apparel buying decision-making style groups; and (2) to profile for each segment in terms of personal characteristics (material values, change seeking tendency and prestige sensitivity) and fashion information sources. Data were collected through questionnaires from convenient sample of 290 female college students. As a result of cluster analysis and univariate analysis of variance, distinctive consumer decision-making style groups of consumers were identified; Value-maximizing Recreational Shoppers, Brand-Maximizing Emotional Shoppers, and Apathetic Shoppers. These three groups were compared as to the effect of personal characteristics variables and fashion information sources through univariate analysis of variance and chi-square statistics. The result showed that personal characteristics (material values, change seeking tendency and prestige sensitivity) and fashion-information sources do influence the consumer decision-making styles and that these three groups were unique in their decision-making characteristics showing that consumer decision-making styles can be a good segmentation base for apparel market.
The purposes of the study were (1) to seg-ment the female college apparel market based on fashion life style and (2) to develop a pro-file of each segment regard to self-concept, shopping orientation and patronage behavior. The data were collected through questionnaire by random sample of 526 female college students. By cluster analysis of lifestyle factors, three groups were identified, (fashion leaders, fashion followers and fashion aversion) Three groups were then compared through multivariate analysis of variance and chi-square statistics on 10 self-concept variables, 6 shopping statistics on 10 self-concept variables, 6 shopping orientation factors and 1 patronage behavior variable. Significant difference were found among the three groups on all these variables which indi-cate that fashion lifestyle can be a useful base for segmenting female apparel market and these groups are unique in terms of self-con-cept, shopping orientation and patronage behavior.
