구조적 가족치료를 활용한 가족모래놀이치료가 정서·행동장애아 가족의 건강성에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Family Sandplay Therapy with Structural Family Therapy on the Family Strengths of Children with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders)

  • The purpose of this study was examining the effects of family sandplay therapy with structural family therapy in improving the family strengths of children with emotional and behavioral disorders. First, we looked for a way to combine family sandplay therapy with structural family therapy and formulated an approach that could maximize the strengths of each theory and complement each other's weaknesses. And then we applied family sandplay therapy together with structural family therapy and analyzed its effects on family strengths. The subjects of this study were 10 families of children with emotional and behavioral disorders, and they were divided into an experimental group with 5 families and a control group with the other 5. To the experimental group received 16 sessions of family sandplay therapy with structural family therapy. In order to prove the effectiveness of family sandplay therapy with structural family therapy on family strengths, a family relationship( husband-wife relationship, parent-child relationship, and sibling relationship) scale and a family function(family cohesion, family adaptability) scale were used. The main findings of this study are as follows. First, the family relationships of the families with emotional-behavioral disorder children were improved after the application of family sandplay therapy with structural family therapy. Second, the application of family sandplay therapy with structural family therapy improved the family function of families with emotional-behavioral disorder children. Third, in the course of family sandplay therapy with structural family therapy, family sand tray was changed in a pro-healing direction, and family structure was also transformed from a dysfunctional structure to a functional one. As previously stated, family sandplay therapy with structural family therapy for families of children with emotional and behavioral disorders enhanced family strengths through improving family relationships and restoring family functions.

아동의 자아개념형성과 자아발달 촉진을 위한 집단모래놀이치료 효과 (The Effect of Group Sandplay Therapy for Children's Self-concept Construction and Ego-development Enhancement)

  • This study was conducted in order to inquire into the impact of children's self-concept construction and ego-development enhancement during Group Sandplay Therapy. The Group Sandplay Therapy sessions were held once week, for a total of 20 weeks. The Group Sandplay Therapy Process consisted of playing with sand and creating a sand tray in groups. There were two group in total. Each group had 4 children of the same sex aged from six to seven years old. In order to study the self-concept and ego-development, we used a self-concept test and ego-development as a research tool. In addition, the present research analyzed any changes which tool place by dividing each aspect in each sand tray of the therapy process into a positive subject and a negative subject, and analyzed the changing patterns seen in the sand tray worldas it unfolded. It was proven that an efficient treatment in changing the sand tray world and children's action, had an effect on rearranging the children's mental schemas. In terms of the progress of the sandplay journey, it was seen that negative elements decreased dramatically and positive elements were observed to have increased. As a result it was confirmed that Group Sandplay Therapy had a number of positive effects in the construction of children's self-concept and in terms of the enhancement of children ego-development.

커플모래놀이치료가 대학생의 자아분화와 이성관계만족에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Sandplay Therapy for Couples on College Students' Self-Differentiation and Heterosexual Relationship Satisfaction)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of sandplay therapy for couples on the self-differentiation, and heterosexual relationship satisfaction, of couples who are college students'. The subjects were four couples who are college students living in Seoul with low self-differentiation and heterosexual relationship satisfaction. I carried out sandplay therapy on four couples for once a week for 10 weeks, and each session was 70 minutes long. In this study, the self-differentiation scale was modified for Korea on the basis of Bowen's family systems theory (1976), and it was used as a research tool. Yu (2000) and Lee (2000) made a scale to measure heterosexual relationship satisfaction after they adjusted the Korea Marital Satisfaction Inventory (K-MSI). The scale was also used in order to compare pre-therapy and post-therapy traits and identify any changes. In addition, the group's behavior and interactions were observed and recorded in each session throughout the process of sandplay therapy with the couples, and the behanior and interactions were analyzed along with the change flow in the sand trays. The study's outcomes are summed up as follows. First, sandplay therapy with couples advances the level of self-differentiation in college students. Second, sandplay therapy with couples improves the heterosexual relationship satisfaction on college students. Third, the trays used in sandplay therapy with couples showed positive changes as the therapy progressed. As the sessions continued, negative factors in the trays decreased and the trays converged into one. As the sessions proceeded, it was observed that the couples became closer, felt more comfortable with each other, compromised and reflected on their relationship. The study's results show that sandplay therapy with couples increased the level of self-differentiation in college students and heterosexual relationship satisfaction, thus proving the therapy's effectiveness.

부모-자녀모래놀이치료가 모-자의 애착안정성과 의사소통에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Sandplay Therapy with Parent-Children on Mother-Child's Attachment Security and Communication)

  • This study aimed to look into the effect of sandplay therapy with parent-children on mother-child's attachment security and communication. This study first conducted a scale of attachment security targeting child and mother who is bringing children in the age of 5 to 6 years in two kindergartens located in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, and composed experimental group and control group of four couples respectively by selecting randomly from eight mother-child couples that received low grades. Sandplay therapy with parent-children was conducted for 12weeks on a weekly basis for 50minutes each. To study the attachment security, we used the Klabsbrun-Bowlby(1976)' Separation Anxiety Test and Mother's attachment scale. In this study, it is Seperated in based on Lee Na Gueng(2001) by functional communication and dysfuctional communication in order to measure changes in communication for situation that may occur during Sand play theraphy and record of observation about changes in each session. Data logging makes watching videos that recorded parent-children sand play therapy every situations. When observes the functional communication or dysfunctional communication between mother and the child, checking the corresponding to each entries, the frequency is recorded and qualitatively analyzed by each sessions. To study mother and child have been enhanced stability of the attachment and the relationship had improved results. Also, in each session the observation of increased functional communication, and dysfunctional communication results appear to reduce in parent-children sand play therapy. As a result, a couple sand play therapy has positive impact to improved the relationship between the mother and the child.

모래놀이를 통해 본 정서·행동에 어려움이 있는 여중생의 내면세계의 변화 (The Change of the Internal World in Middle School Girls Having Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties by Exploring Their Sandplay)

  • Objective: Middle school girls who belonged to the concerned group in their school assessment were treated by sandplay for relieving their emotional and behavioral difficulties. The purpose of this study was to explore the change of the internal world of the girls through sandplay. Methods: Analytical psychology and sandplay theories were used for this exploration, especially Turner's (2005) content themes in sandplay. The participants were four first-grade girls. Pre-test measures, a 12-session sandplay program, and post-test measures were administered. Results: For the first girl, the initial phase was 1-6 (time trip), the intermediate phase was 7-9 (seeking for an inner island), and the final phase was 10-12 (seeking for a real stone). For the second girl, the initial phase was 1-5 (my heart was like cold weather), the intermediate phase was 6-10 (fallen, sick, and risen), and the final phase was 11-12 (trophy given to me). For the third girl, the initial phase was 1-5 (seeking for oasis), the intermediate phase was 6-10 (difficult trip for climbing with camel), and the final phase was 11-12 (discovering oasis). For the fourth girl, the initial phase was 1-3 (an island drowning shortly ), the intermediate phase was 4-10 (my unknowable mind), and the final phase was 11-12 (a tree growing well). Conclusion: This study showed psychological phenomena in the sandplay of four girls such as opposites and the union of masculinity and femininity as they explored their own identity. Drawing tests and counselling objects indicated positive changes; thus, these findings support the effectiveness of sandplay therapy for transforming the psyche of middle school girls.

모래놀이치료가 청소년의 행동, 정서에 미치는 임상효과 - 다면적 인성검사를 중심으로 (The Clinical Effect of Sandplay Therapy on Adolescent Behavior and Emotion - Through Minesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory)

  • 모래놀이치료는 여러 가지 문제행동을 나타내는 아동청소년에서 유용한 임상치료방법이다. 본 연구는 문제행동을 주소로 내원한 20명의 청소년을 대상으로 10주간의 집단모래놀이 치료를 수행하였으며 정서 및 행동에 대한 임상효과를 미네소타 다면적 인성검사-2(MMPI-2)를 통하여 객관적으로 평가하고자 하였다. 모래놀이 치료 후에 청소년은 시행 전 Baseline에 비해서 우울증, 신체증상호소, 사회적 불편감, 정신운동지체, 신체적 기능장애, 애정욕구, 기태적 감각경험, 수줍음/자의식 등의 임상척도에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 모래놀이치료는 학교부적응 고등학생의 정서적 문제뿐만 아니라 신체적인 문제에도 임상적인 효과가 있는 것으로 추정된다.
