Third group is made by specialist who has many experience-more than 3years- to urban renewal. Third, the Correlation Analysis was used to analyze the relation between the Area and dwelling satisfaction. Fourth, tenant policy' altenative is presented to solve tenant APT' problem which is analyzed by this study The results are as follows : First, tenant APT' size Which is regulated to 30-$45m^{2}$ is enlarged to more than $45m^{2}$ because tenant family is made up averagely of 4.8 persons. Second, tenant APT' rental cost is reduced to 100 thousand won. Third tenant APT' arrangement is divided from owner because tenant and owner want to live in group by group. Fourth, tenant house type is changed to various house type because tenant is not familiar with APT
While the importance of social integration has been mainly emphasized in the fields of social welfare services for the elderly, disabled and lower income citizens, many types of elderly housing had been developed in a way of segregating the elderly from society rather than integrating. Meanwhile, shared group house may allow older people to 'age in place' within the communities where they used to live by providing them with social, economic and practical benefits. The purpose of this study is to carry out empirical research on responses to elderly shared group house. Interview survey with questionnaire was conducted among 138 elderly people between 60-75 years old, living in Seoul and its metropolitan area. Responses of the elderly included awareness, perception and preference. It was revealed that the respondents had negative perceptions on existing shared group house in Korea. Most of the respondents showed preference to moving into socially-integrated type of shared group houses developed within their communities. This study indicated the potential of such type shared group house to become a favorable housing alternative for elderly people which supports their sustainable independent living within community.
The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate the health promotion program to increase the functional status of the in-house stroke patients. The subjects for the experiment are 38 in-house stroke patients in a health center and welfare centers suffering from hemiplegia. The experimental group consists of 19 stroke patients and the control group consists of another 19 stroke patients. The program was applied to the experimental group for 8 weeks. The subjects were given health education at the first week. At the second and the fifth week they were given counselling on health by home visit. At the third, the fourth, the sixth and the seventh week they were interviewed by phone about health, and at the last week they shared their experiences through group meeting. The results of the study are as follows: 1. The degree of ADL in the experimental group increased significantly, compared with that of the control group. 2. In the experimental group the degree of Range of Motion in shoulder abduction, elbow flexion, hip flexion and ankle dorsiflexion increased significantly, compared with that of the control group. 3. In the experimental group the degree of muscle strength in elbow flexion, knee extension, and ankle dorsiflexion increased significantly, compared with that of the control group. 4. Systolic pressure, diastolic pressure in the experimental group decreased significantly, compared with that the control group. 5. HWR in the experimental group didn't decreased significantly, compared with that the control group. 6. The degree of depression in the experimental group decreased significantly, compared with that the control group. 7. The degree of social adaptation in the experimental group increased significantly, compared with that the control group. The results above show that the health promotion program for this study was effective in promoting the performance of lifestyle for health improvement of the in-house stroke patients. Therefore, it is considered that the program can be used as an efficient nursing intervention for the in-house stroke patients who need continuous health-improving behaviors.

Purpose. This study was designed to examine the effect of asthma management education program applied to allergic asthma patients receiving immunotherapy due to house dust mite on their stress and compliance with health care regimens. Methods. A quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group and non-synchronized design was used. The subjects of this study were 61 patients who were receiving immunotherapy at intervals of a week after their symptoms were diagnosed as house dust mite allergic asthma at the pulmonary department of a university hospital in Seoul. They were divided into an experimental group of 29 patients who received asthma management education and a control group of 32 patients. The asthma management education pro-gram was composed of group education (once) and reinforcement education (three times) with environmental therapy and immunotherapy to house dust mite. Results. Stress significantly decreased in the experimental group compared to that in the control group. Compliance with health care regimens significantly increased in the experimental group compared to that in the control group. Conclusions. The results suggested that the asthma management education program is effective for the management of stress and the improvement of compliance in patients with allergic asthma to house dust mite.
Canine sarcoptic mite (Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis) burrow usually in the stratum corneum of the skin of dogs and rabbits. Antigens from the burrowing mites induce cutaneous inflammatory reaction and humoral and cell-mediated immune response in the host. The effect of immunization induced by somatic antigens of house dust mite (Dermatophagoides spp.) has been evaluated to control the canine sarcoptic mite in this experiment. Twelve common antigens (187, 142, 126, 120, 109, 92, 80, 68, 51, 30, 25, 17 kDa) were found using SDS-PAGE with silver staining and Western blot between canine sarcoptic mite and house dust mite. In order to evaluate the immunologic effect of these common antigens 10 New Zealand white rabbits were divided as 4 groups such as negative control (group I), positive challenged control (group II), vaccinated (group III), and vaccinated-challenged (group IV) groups. Group II was artificially infested with about 1,000 canine sarcoptic mites and group III and IV were immunized with somatic antigens of house dust mite. In addition group IV was artificially infested with about 1,000 canine sarcoptic mites and group II, IV were treated with ivermectin. At the 8 weeks of the vaccination with common antigen, the antibody titers of all groups of II, III and IV had been increased. Both infestation score and live canine sarcoptic mite counts of group IV were lower than group III. Infestation score of group II become 0 by 2 weeks and group IV by 4 weeks after infestation. These results suggest that house dust mite, which is easy to culture in vitro, can be a vaccine candidate for protection of canine sarcoptic mite infestation.

Since modern times, lack of housing had become more serious in the cities when going through urbanization process. As a countermeasure against the situation, multi-family houses raised its head at the end of 1980s. Regarding multi-family houses, which is mainly targeting low-income group, however, only quantitative supply has been focused with no enough research about space planning. For now that the supply of housing in the cities reached certain level, there is a need of planning multi-family house considering the demands of residents. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the demands of owners and tenants of multi-family house in an improvement district of housing environment for housing improvement, and to extract house planning components. As a research methodology, small-group workshop panel using drawings and mock-up has been practiced to reach residents' concertized opinion. After dividing the residents group into 2 groups which include owners group(3 participants) and tenants group(3 participants), 3 times of workshops covering 2 days are conducted for each group. Actual-condition investigation of the participants' houses was ran side by side with workshop. As a result, difference in their point of view about the reasons and the direction of housing improvement was identified, on the other hand that there is similarity in their demands such as guaranteeing independency and privacy among households.
