With the start of COVID-19 in 2020, the MBTI test became popular among Korean young generation and then developed into a nationwide hot topic. This paper aims to investigate the characteristics of the MBTI popularity in Korea and the public opinions toward this phenomenon. With the analysis of the reports contents, 231 news reports related to MBTI were selected from KINDS (Korea Integrated News Database System) as research samples. The general attitude of the media towards MBTI tests and the reasons for the formation of positive and negative evaluations will be discussed from three perspectives: media attention, media attitudes and cognitive sources. The research finds that the increasing interest in MBTI among the younger generation in Korea is driven by a post-epidemic desire for self-exploration, emotional planning, and online group affiliation. MBTI has gained quasi-scientific status, similar to horoscopes, influenced by celebrities and a substantial fan base in online communication. While widely used for entertainment and social currency, there are concerns that extensive labeling may unconsciously impact individuals' self-perception and hinder the development of a holistic and objective cognitive framework.
This research was designed to analyze the relationship among depression level, body cathexis, and clothing behavioral attributes of middle-aged women. Respondents for questionnaire were middle-aged women aged from 40 to 59. A total of 197 responses were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 through t-test, and factor analysis with Varimax rotation. The results were as following. As older, the portion of depressed group increased. Higher in depression level, her body cathexis decreased, meaning those two valuables have negative relationship. Six clothing behavioral factors were extruded: style pursuit, body shaping, showing-off, comfort pursuit, recreativeness, and consciousness of others factor, which covers both physical and psychological aspects of middle-aged women. The difference between 40's and 50's was significant in depression level, however, not significant in body cathexis and clothing behavioral attributes. Except for weight, body cathexis satisfaction level of 'depressed group' were significantly lower than 'not-depressed group', meaning that psychological factor give a significant effect on body cathexis. 'Not-depressed group' tend to choose her own style and 'depressed group' more likely to be conscious of others and conform to the affiliation group. This finding implies that design and coordination of garments for middle-aged women could be recommended according to the depression level to improve the quality of life.
Contemporary nursing is concerned with meeting patients physical psychological and secio-economical needs and with helping persons to sore their own problems. At the time of confinement and delivery, women often have physical and psychological disco- mort related to fear, tension or anxiety. Pain related to these causes varies with the individual woman. Effective nursing care to meet individual needs during labor and delivery is important if nurses are to understand and relieve woman's physical and psychological pain. A questionnaire prepared for the purpose by the investigator was administered to 162 women in two general hospitals, one in Seoul and one in TaeGu, during August 1 and September 20, 1975 and to the 13 delivery-room nurses who cared for them. It was hoped that the study would contribute to comprehensive nursing care during labor and delivery and to improve maternal and child health. 1. The sample of mothers ranged in age from 18 to 39; the majority were from 25 to 29 years old (54.3%). Most of them were housewives (87.6%). Sixty-three percent had high school or higher education. They had a range of one to seven deliveries. Sixty-one percent were primiparas Most had some prenatal care (87.6%). 2. The age of the group of nurses ranged from 22 to 39. Ten were 22 or 23. Five of the 13 had from six to ten months experience in the de]ivory room. Twelve were single and ten had a religious affiliation. 3. Both primiparas and multiparas thought equally that physical and psychological care, nursing skills and attitudes were important during labor and delivery, but did not relate basic nursing care directly to normal delivery. Need for nursing care was rated more highly by primiparas (2.83-3.48) than by multiparas (2.51-3.17) (p〈0.05). 4. There was no difference in need for nursing care according to the educational level of the women nor according to whether they had a religious affiliation or not (p〉0.05). 5. There was no difference in the reported nursing care given regarding of the educational preparation of the nurses (p〉 0.05). 6. There the reported nursing needs of the women and the reported nursing care given were compared, physical and psychological nursing care directed toward protecting the mother and fetus and a safe do]ivory were considered important by both groups. Neither group related simple nursing care directly to protection of the mother and fetus or to a safe delivery. The women rated highly their needs for nourishment (3.05) and having a relative with them (2.90) for emotional support but there was little evidence (2.39) that the nurses provided care to meet these needs (p〈0.05). In conclusion, the nursing needs of the women during the three stages of labor and the nursing care given were generally similar. The women had more psychological needs than physical needs but in comparison, nurses gave a little more physical than psychological care. The results point up the need to make adjustments in labor and delivery room nursing care the nurse should Prepared to pay more attention and bigger consideration in psychological comfort care than physical care.
Lots of virtual communities and online businesses presently derive their primary sources of revenues through advertising, but nevertheless are plagued with marginal profitability though they might possess a significant user base. In the light of the need for an efficacious business model, there have been recent insights of an online community in particular reaping profits through an innovative and lucrative revenue generation method that earns by selling digital items. There have been some obvious evidences (e.g., Cyworld, SecondLife, Habo Hotel, etc.) that online communities can be profitable through their unique business model of selling digital items. However, there is lack of understanding about the motivation of purchasing digital items. This study tries to identify the main motivators of digital item purchases based on social/individual identity theory and self-presentation theory. "Digital items", otherwise known as "virtual assets", may include online avatars, accessories for the avatars, decorative ornaments like furniture, digital wallpapers, skins, background music and virtual weapons used for Internet games. These digital items are employed by users for representation and articulation in the online space, especially to create and enhance their online profiles in web pages and games. Prices for digital items typically range from a few cents to a few dollars each. Based on the theoretical framework like social identity theory and self-presentation theory, we developed the research model and proposed seven hypotheses. An analysis of 225 members of Cyworld found that digital item purchase intention in virtual world is affected by both members' need for self-presentation and need for affiliation. We also found that the need for self-presentation is significantly increased by innovativeness of members, community group norm, and community involvement. We concluded that the need for self-presentation could be a key variable for profitable business model in online community service industry. However, neither individual self-efficacy nor the need for affiliation significantly influenced the need for self-presentation which triggers purchase intention of digital items. In term of the theoretical and practical contribution, this study can be a pioneering empirical research that investigates the purchase intention of digital items based on social identity theory and self-presentation theory in the online context. Also, the findings of our study are valuable and practical for practitioners in the market who wish to adopt or improve the business model of selling digital items in an online community. From the findings, it can be seen that innovativeness of users, community group norm, and community involvement are three significant factors that influence need for self-presentation of users which ultimately leads to their intentions to buy digital items. These findings put forth that virtual community providers and online businesses selling digital items should prioritize their efforts and focus on these three factors if they want to increase the sales of these digital items and generate greater revenues. This study provides important implications for academic researchers and practitioners to understand why the community members pay money for their digital items in virtual world and how the practitioners can increase the sales of digital items in an online community. A couple of limitations of the study and future research directions are also discussed.
This study was to provide understanding for the juvenile problem of drug brought about by industrialization, and the importance people that we should take a role in helping to resolve the problem. The purpose of this study lies in approaching the effective methods to prevent Korean adolescents from being involved in drug by examining the factors of their experience. The method of this study is designed to grasp the adolescents' drug experience, its meaning, its structure and the nursing intervention ways. By applying a phenomenological approach which is based on a qualitative research method, the researchers hoped to reveal key data in each group. It has been carried on from October 1998 until September 1999 with sample of 5 adolescent inmates in K mental hospital located in Seoul. The data were collected by sereous personal deep interviews and observations. Collected data were analyzed according to the phenomenological method suggested by Giorgi. The results of this study are as follows: First, pleasure seeking: curiosity, joy, and fun; Second, affiliation: formation of clique with the same age; Third, escape from reality: loneliness, emptiness, heroic mind, self- confidence, self-absorption, and comfort; Forth, feeble- mindedness: anxiety, fear, and temptation; Fifth, psychological unadaptation: wandering, forfeiture, and incompetence; Sixth, physical counteraction: headache, vomiting, loss of memory, loss of appetite and loss of sensibility; Seventh, psychological confusion: illusion, auditory hallucination and dream; Eighth, recovery of self-consciousness: repentance, desire and awareness This study results in the following suggestions of the nursing intervention 1. To cultivate a wholesome game culture for the adolescents. 2. To make up the group activities so that the adolescents can establish their sense of identity through a variety of group counseling program. 3. To foster the capability to cope with the change in the process of social accommodation. 4. To enforce the social life skill for the adolescents. 5. To practice the systematic education about drug use. 6. To develop the social education programs. 7. To help the adolescents build up their sense of identity by applying the adolescent cure programs. Above all, it is necessary that school and community as well as home should establish the educational environment paying special concern and consideration to the adolescents.
Trust is an essential factor in human relations, as it enables man to accept and also disclose self. Today's health care demands nursing personnel with high level of trust . This study was designed and carried out in May through June, 1976 to measure the level of trust on nurses through the trust scale of Nurses (75- N) made by Kenneth et al. and the Parent Inventory made by Rake and to provide data for management of nursing personnel. 150 junior nursing students, 164 professional nurses from 5 universities and their medical centers and 55 nurse- educators from 8 baccalaureate nursing programs in Seoul were randomly sampled. Results are as follows : 1. The rank order of the level of trust revealed that nurse educators the highest and nursing students the lowest. 2. The level of trust revealed to be influenced by the relationship with parents at the early stages of life ; Group who appeared to have shared intimacy with their parents were the highest. 3. Factors such as ; number of siblings and birth order among them, religious affiliation, parental presence revealed to have had no influence on the level of trust in all three group. 4. No significant difference were revealed between the group who had put their names down on the questionnaire and the others. 5. Clinical specialities of practice revealed to have no signigicant influence on trust in nurses. 6. Marital status revealed to have significant influence : in nurses and nurse- educators, the mastered re vented to have significantly higher level of trust. (difference by Recommendations : 1. The purpose of this article is to comparatively depict the organizational effectiveness of two rail firms based on the cognitive response of employees(group of drivers). To attain this purpose, several aspects of current personnel and organization management system and organizational culture are surveyed through questionaire and analyzed by SPSS. The questionaire includes two parts of items. First, it includes items on personnel-related factors such as evaluation system, job, wage, role, leadership and job satisfaction. Second, it includes items on organizational culture model suggested by Rousseau. The major findings are : 1) In general, the cognitive response of drivers in two firms concerning personnel-related aspects is to a certain degree negative. 2) The cognitive response of drivers in two firms concerning culture-related aspects is also awfully negative. 3) Job satisfaction of drivers in the firm A is highly related to role and leadership factors in terms of personnel-related aspects, on the one hand, and to achievement factor in terms of culture, on the other hand. In case of the firm B, job satisfaction of drivers is highly related to personnel evaluation factor as well as role and leadership factors in terms of personnel-related aspects, on the one hand, and to affiliation, power, and bureaucracy factors in terms of culture, on the other hand.

Bovine borreliosis, caused by Borrelia theileri which is transmitted via hard tick bites, is associated with mild clinical symptoms, such as fever, lethargy, hemoglobinuria, anorexia, and anemia. Borrelia theileri infects various animals, such as cattle, deer, horses, goats, sheep, and wild ruminants, in Africa, Australia, and South America. Notably, no case of B. theileri infection has been reported in Korean cattle to date. In this study, 101 blood samples were collected from a Korean indigenous cattle breed, among which 1.98% tested positive for B. theileri via nested PCR. The obtained sequences exhibited high homology with B. theileri strains identified in other regions. Phylogenetic analysis of 16S rRNA confirmed the B. theileri group affiliation; however, flagellin B sequences exhibited divergence, potentially due to regional evolutionary differences. This study provides the first molecular confirmation of B. theileri infection in Korean livestock. Further isolation and nucleotide sequence analyses are necessary to better understand the presence of B. theileri strains in cows in Korea.

WfMC, which is one of the international standardization organizations leading the business process and workflow technologies, has been officially released the BPAF1.0 that is a standard format to record process instances' event logs according as the business process intelligence mining technologies have recently issued in the business process and workflow literature. The business process mining technologies consist of two groups of algorithms and their analysis techniques; one is to rediscover flow-oriented process-intelligence, such as control-flow, data-flow, role-flow, and actor-flow intelligence, from process instances' event logs, and the other has something to do with rediscovering relation-oriented process-intelligence like process-driven social networks and process-driven affiliation networks from the event logs. The current standardized format of BPAF1.0 aims at only supporting the control-flow oriented process-intelligence mining techniques, and so it is unable to properly support the relation-oriented process-intelligence mining techniques. Therefore, this paper tries to extend the BPAF1.0 so as to reasonably support the relation-oriented process-intelligence mining techniques, and the extended BPAF is termed BPAF2.0. Particularly, we have a plan to standardize the extended BPAF2.0 as not only the national standard specifications through the e-Business project group of TTA, but also the international standard specifications of WfMC.
Past research reported mixed results on the effects of social exclusion on prosocial behavior. Whereas some studies reported an increase in prosocial motivation and behavior, others proposed that social exclusion causes a decrease in prosocial behavior along with negative reactions such as anger and aggression. These conflicting results may have arisen because prosocial behavior does not in itself always produce social reconnection. That is, although prosocial behavior is a major means of promoting social relationships, the excluded person does not need to act prosocially to benefit others unless the behavior leads to the restoration of the relationship. Unlike past research that assumed dichotomous situations of exclusion or belonging, the present research tested prosocial behavior in a social exclusion risk situation where the possibility of reconnection exists. In addition, we used the ability to potentially contribute to the group as another independent variable. We used a simulation game titled "Becoming a Union Member" to manipulate each participant's social exclusion risk and ability. Participants responded to a simple survey named member personality test and gave preliminary votes to one another, and exclusion risk was manipulated by the number of votes received. Later, ability was manipulated by disclosing perception test scores in the named member ability test. In both Experiments 1 and 2, participants who scored high in terms of social exclusion risk and low in the ability to potentially contribute showed prosocial behavior in stipulating larger donations. These results demonstrate that probable social reconnection defined by exclusion risk and ability is the key to explaining prosocial behavior following social exclusion.
