조선 작업장의 공압 그라인더 대체용 BLDC 모터 전동 그라인더 개발 기초연구 (A Study of BLDC Motor Electric Grinder to Replace Air Grinder in Shipbuilding Company)

  • 조선 작업장에서 사용되는 에너지원 중 전기 에너지의 30% 이상이 압축공기 생산에 사용되고 있으며, 압축공기의 상당 부분은 공압 공구 구동에 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 에너지 효율이 낮은 공압 공구를 전동 공구로 대체하기 위해 7인치 BLDC모터 전동 그라인더 시제품을 개발하였다. 7인치 공압 그라인더와 대등한 성능을 내기 위한 전동 그라인더의 사양은 정격 회전수는 4,500 rpm이며 정격 출력은 1.1 kW가 되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. 특히 안전 기능으로 과부하 정지 기능과 정전 재기동 방지가 가능해야 한다. 이러한 사양과 기능으로 BLDC 모터 전동 그라인더 시제품을 제작하여 조선 작업장의 여러 공종에서 테스트 한 결과 다양한 장단점 의견을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, machining characteristics of glass for HDD media are researched. Nowadays HDD media are used globally as a data storage device. In generally, it is machined by the lapping. But the lapping process time is long and the productivity is low. In this reason, 1 examined the possibility of ELID grinding of glass fur HDD media. If the machining process of HDD media can be changed to ELID grinding, a product cost will be largely saved. The machines used in this experiment were a special rotary type grinder and a normal rotary grinder. The one has an air bearing spindle, the other has not. Experimental results show the possibility of highly efficient grinding and mirror surface can be achieved by the ELID grinding.

  • An automatic Q. C. tester for a production line of electric grinder is developed using vibration signals. The methods of measuring and analyzing the vibration signals are found through several experiments at laboratory and production line. The experiments show that checking a vibration signal at running condition only, without any sound signal, is enough to judge whether the product is good or not. The Q. C. tester is made of accelerometer and PC. Measured vibration signal using accelerometer is transmitted to PC through A/D board. Vibration level are calculated using FFT algorithm in PC for already selected five frequency bands, which can specify the cause of fault. The Judging criteria of vibration levels of each bands are decided through a lot of experiment with the comparison of manual judgement.

  • 조선해양 생산현장에서는 생산 용도로 다양한 에너지원을 사용하고 있지만 가장 많이 사용하는 에너지원은 전기이며, 전기의 30% 이상을 압축공기 생산에 사용하고 있다. 압축공기를 동력으로 이용하는 경우, 특히 그라인더에서는, 에너지 변환 효율이 전력대비 1/4~1/5 수준으로 매우 낮다. 본 연구에서는 공압 그라인더를 BLDC 모터 전동 그라인더로 대체하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 그 결과 7인치 공압 그라인더와 대등한 출력을 내면서 안전성과 내구성 면에서 우수한 상용급 전동 그라인더 시제품을 설계 및 개발하였다. 또한 시제품에 대한 현장 시험을 거쳐 다양한 개선방안과 설계개선안을 통해 향후 상용급 BLDC모터 전동 그라인더 개발을 위한 설계기술을 확보할 수 있었다.

  • This work measured the hand-transmitted vibration due to shipyard worker's grinding and assessed the vibration exposure for predicted 10% prevalence of vibration-induced white finger in a group of exposed persons according to test procedure of ISO 5349-1. And also the transmissibility performance of resilient material, mainly applied to anti-vibration gloves in present market was measured on the basis of ISO 13753 and confirmed that the material would Probably not provide greater attenuation below 30㎐, the dominant frequency range of hand-transmitted vibration due to grinder.

  • As consumer in optics, electronics, aerospace and electronics industry grow, the demand for ultra precision aspherical surface lens increases higher. To enhance the precision and productivity of ultra precision aspherical surface micro lens, the following specification of ultra precision grinding system is required: the highest rotational speed of the grinder is 100,000rpm and its turning accuracy is $0.1{\mu}m$, positioning accuracy is $0.1{\mu}m$. The development process of the grinding system for the ultra precision aspherical surface micro lens for optoelectronics industry is introduced. In the work reported in this paper, an intelligent grinding system for ultra precision aspherical surface machining was designed by considering the factors affecting the surface roughness and profiles accuracy. An aerostatic form was adopted to build the spindle of the workpiece and the spindle of grinder and ultra precision LM guide way was adopted in this system.

열간압연 스케줄변경에 따른 최적연삭조건 결정 (Decision of Optimum Grinding Condition by Pass Schedule Change)

  • It is important to prevent roll failure in hot rolling process for reducing maintenance cost and production loss. The relationship between rolling pass schedule and the work roll wear profile will be presented. The roll wear pattern is related with roll catastrophic failure. The irregular and deep roll wear pattern should be removed by On-line Roll Grinder(ORG) for roll failure prevention. In this study, a computer roll wear prediction model under real process working condition is developed and evaluated with hot rolling pass schedule. The method of building wear calculation functions for center portion abrasion and marginal abrasion respectively was used to develop a work roll wear prediction mathematical model. The three type rolling schedule are evaluated by wear prediction model. The optimum roll grinding methods is suggested for schedule tree rolling technique.

Fuzzy Preference Based Interactive Fuzzy Physical Programming and Its Application in Multi-objective Optimization

  • Interactive Fuzzy Physical Programming (IFPP) developed in this paper is a new efficient multi-objective optimization method, which retains the advantages of physical programming while considering the fuzziness of the designer's preferences. The fuzzy preference function is introduced based on the model of linear physical programming, which is used to guide the search for improved solutions by interactive decision analysis. The example of multi-objective optimization design of the spindle of internal grinder demonstrates that the improved preference conforms to the subjective desires of the designer.

  • Brewers grain is a byproduct of beer brewing and consists primarily of grain husks, pericarp, and fragments of endosperm. Although this material is consumed by animals and used as fertilizer, a large amount of brewers grain is simply discarded. Therefore, new methods for utilizing this fibrous resource should be pursued. In this study, we examined the potential utilization of brewers grain as an additive in the paperboard industry by determining the chemical composition of brewers grain and the physical properties of brewers grain powders after grinding with two types of grinders. We found that brewers grain had a lower holocellulose content and higher lignin content and intermediate ash content when compared to other biomass materials, and did not contain any contaminants that would interfere with the papermaking process. Particles had a higher fiber length, less fiber width, and narrower shape factor distribution when ground by a blender type grinder than by a pin crusher type grinder. The blender type grinder was concluded to make regular brewers grain particles appropriate for papermaking.
