  • Next-generation wide-bandgap semiconductors such as SiC, GaN, and Ga2O3 are being considered as potential replacements for current silicon-based power devices due to their high mobility, larger size, and production of high-quality wafers at a moderate cost. In this study, we investigate the gradual modulation of chemical composition in multi-stacked metal oxide semiconductor thin films to enhance the performance and bias stability of thin-film transistors (TFTs). It demonstrates that adjusting the Ga ratio in the indium gallium oxide (IGO) semiconductor allows for precise control over the threshold voltage and enhances device stability. Moreover, employing multiple deposition techniques addresses the inherent limitations of solution-processed amorphous oxide semiconductor TFTs by mitigating porosity induced by solvent evaporation. It is anticipated that solution-processed indium gallium oxide (IGO) semiconductors, with a Ga ratio exceeding 50%, can be utilized in the production of oxide semiconductors with wide band gaps. These materials hold promise for power electronic applications necessitating high voltage and current capabilities.

옥상녹화의 녹화유형별 기온저감효과 (A Study on the Analysis of Temperature Reduction Effect by the Types of the Green Roof)

  • Recently, concerns about conserving proper size of urban green spaces and accessibility are increasing, regarding it as a solution to diverse urban environmental problems including pollution, ecosystem deterioration, urban climate change. Artificial ground greening such as green roofs is regarded as the only alternative that can conserve green spaces which are impossible to be secured on the ground. However, green roofs are not popularized yet and levels are very low in provincial cities despite of related technology development and support systems of related agencies. Based on the background, this study tries to present a theoretical basis of methods for green roofs, conducting green roof simulations Finally, it aims to offer base data which help establish policy direction for activation of green roof technology. As a result of a simulation for verifying temperature reduction effect, it was possible to affirm effect of a plot that green roofs applied. Especially, it was revealed that a green roof method using ground covers such as mixed planting was the most effective way to reduce temperature. Based on precise analysis of the users, actual study for activation of green roofs should be developed in the future, by presenting a standard model for experiments and obtaining information about examples of green roofs on private houses.

녹차가루 첨가 두부의 저장 특성 (The effect of Green tea powder levels on Storage Chracteristics of Tofu)

  • 한국산 대두(장엽콩)에 녹차가루를 첨가하여 제조한 두부의 저장 특성을 검토하였다. 녹차가루 첨가 두부의 수율은 첨가량이 증가할수록 낮은 수율을 보였다. 녹차가루 첨가두부와 두부 침지액의 pH는 저장기간동안 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, pH 감소폭은 녹차가루를 첨가하지 않은 시료에서 가장 컸고, 녹차가루 1.0% 첨가시료에서 가장 적었다. 녹차가루 첨가두부 색도에서, 적색도를 나타내는 a값은 저장에 따라 증가하는 경향이었으나 L값과 b값은 큰 변화를 보이지 않았다. 녹차가루 첨가두부의 조직 특성치는 저장기간에 따라 큰 변화는 보이지 않았다. 저장기간이 경과함에 따라 녹차가루 첨가두부 침지액의 총 미생물 수와 흡광도는 증가하였으며, 녹차가루 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 수치가 낮아져 저장 8일째의 녹차가루 1.0% 첨가시료의 미생물은 3.0x$10^{6}$ CFU/ml이었으며 흡광도는 0.175로 가장 낮았다.

A calculation method for finite depth free-surface green function

  • An improved boundary element method is presented for numerical analysis of hydrodynamic behavior of marine structures. A new algorithm for numerical solution of the finite depth free-surface Green function in three dimensions is developed based on multiple series representations. The whole range of the key parameter R/h is divided into four regions, within which different representation is used to achieve fast convergence. The well-known epsilon algorithm is also adopted to accelerate the convergence. The critical convergence criteria for each representation are investigated and provided. The proposed method is validated by several well-documented benchmark problems.

  • The purpose of this study was to search the cases of low carbon green housing complex specially focusing on the design elements of ZEDfactory in UK and find the suggestion for the low carbon green housing complex in Korea. For this purpose, we reviewed the design elements of low carbon green housing, which are created by ZEDfactory. We also analyzed the 4 cases of them focusing on the design elements and synthesized the elements. As a result of this study, we can draw some implications and ways to apply the low carbon green concepts for housing complex such as the thermal heating, cooling and microgeneration solution using available renewable energy.

  • To reduce costs in general process, product quality degradation or lack of services are appeared. To improve these problems, dramatical solution of 'Freeconomics (Free+Economics) are discussed. Freconomics means, producers provide their products and services free of charge but they get customer's interests and reputations. Based on these customer's interests and reputations, producers generate profits with other services or related products. In this paper, we discuss about Green IT strategic plan with the management technique of Freeconomics. Green IT is called as Next-Generation growth engine to develop economy, so every country and industry hopes to develop it. With Freeconomcs, customers could get more quickly and much better use the Green IT products. So it is expected to spread of Green IT with Freeconomics as industry, country and customers are all satisfied.

A review of the philippine green building rating system, BERDE in comparison with G-SEED and LEED

  • Different countries create their own green building rating system to be in line with sustainable development as a response to the urgent call for solution for Climate Change and degradation of the environment due to rapid population growth and economic development. This study conducts a critical review on the Philippine national voluntary green building rating system, BERDE, in comparison with South Korea's national voluntary green building rating system, G-SEED and U.S. rating system LEED. Their categories, building types assessed, and assessment methods were compared side by side to seek better practice(s) for green building rating assessment for Philippine green building projects.

IDC기반 FLV동영상 솔루션의 Mini IPTV 적용시스템의설계 및 구현 (System Design and Implementation of FLV Move Picture Solution Based on IDC apply to Mini IPTV)

  • 본 논문에서는 IDC를 기반으로 한 FLV 동영상 솔루션을 Mini IPTV에 적용한 시스템 설계 및 구현을 제안한다. IDC의 에너지를 최소화하고, 자원 활용을 극대화시키는 Green Data Center로 설계하며, Mini IPTV의 다양한 콘텐츠를 서비스 공급자 및 네트워크 공급자가 네트워크를 통해 Mini IPTV 가입자에게 제공한다. 이때 FLV 솔루션 파일 포맷과 압축 기술을 이용해 동영상의 화질과 압축률을 개선하도록 구현함으로써, 트래픽 비용의 절감 및 보안 문제를 해결하고, 특히 웹에서 급속히 팽창하고 있는 e-Learning 분야에 활용하고자 한다.
