초등학교 저학년 영양교육 학습 자료의 디자인 방향 설정에 관한 연구 (Establishing Design Directions for Nutrition Education Materials for Early Elementary Students in South Korea)

  • 오늘날 아동 비만의 위험성과 영양불균형이 사회적 문제로 떠오르면서 국내에서도 식생활 및 영양정보를 다루는 교육용 콘텐츠·자료 개발이 다양한 형태로 시도되고 있으며 그 중요도가 높아지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초등학교 저학년 학생을 대상으로 아동이 학교에서 이루어지는 영양교육과 연계하여 자기 주도적으로 학습하고, 습득한 지식을 실생활에 적용하여 올바르고 균형 있는 식생활을 할 수 있도록 하기 위한 맞춤형 영양교육 학습 자료를 디자인 방향을 설정하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구 및 문헌조사 등을 바탕으로 초등학교 저학년 영양교육에 대한 이론적 고찰을 시행하고, 의료·교육·디자인계 전문가 자문을 통해 저학년 아동을 대상으로 실행될 설문조사를 위한 문항 요소를 도출하여 서울시와 경남 창원시 소재의 초등학교 2곳의 1, 2학년 어린이 110명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 평가 결과, 저학년 아동은 영양교육에 대해 긍정적인 반응을 보였으며, 멀티미디어 기반의 컨텐츠를 활용한 학습 유형과 퀴즈활동을 선호하고, 칼로리 조절 식사에 관하여 학습하고자 하는 의향이 있었다. 학습 자료 디자인 요소에 대해서는 주황, 초록 계열의 색과 고딕류 서체를 선호하였으며, 영양에 대한 정보 표현법으로는 실제의 모습과 흡사한 그림체와 수치측량법 사용에 긍정적인 의견을 나타냈다. 이를 바탕으로 초등학교 저학년인 1,2학년 학생들의 눈높이에 맞춘 자기주도학습 영양교육자료 디자인의 방향성을 설정하였다.

택지개발사업의 계획특성이 사업지구 지가변동에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Plan Characteristics of Residential Land Development Project on Inner Land Price Change)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 택지개발사업의 계획특성이 사업지구의 지가변동에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 택지개발사업의 효율적인 추진을 위한 정책적 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 우선 청주시 택지개발사업 추진단계별 지가변동 규모와 양상을 분석하였다. 그리고 이론적 고찰 및 선행연구 검토를 통해 지가변동에 영향을 주는 택지개발사업의 계획특성 요소 16개((1)지가변동률, (2)사업구역 면적, (3)주거용지 비율, (4)상업용지 비율, (5)준주거용지 비율, (6)근린생활시설용지 비율, (7)공동주택 비율, (8)도로율, (9)공원 녹지율, (10)학교 비율, (11)$1m^2$당 조성비, (12)일반주거지역 비율, (13)준주거지역 비율, (14)상업지역 비율, (15)준공업지역 비율, (16)자연녹지지역 비율)를 선정하였다. 선정된 계획특성 요소 16개 중 지가변동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위하여 SPSS 20.0 Version을 이용하여 상관관계를 분석하였다. 지가변동의 양상을 분석한 결과, 지구가 지정되기 2년 전부터 지가가 상승되기 시작하였고 준공이후 지가상승이 안정화되는 것으로 분석되었다. 그리고 지가변동에 영향을 주는 계획특성 요소를 분석한 결과 (2)사업구역 면적, (4)상업용지 비율, (6)근린생활시설용지 비율, (8)도로율, (11)$1m^2$당 조성비, (12)일반주거지역 비율이 지가변동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

초등학교 내 학교숲 조성이 아동의 인지·정신건강에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of School Forests on Mental Health and Cognition of Elementary Students)

  • 본 연구는 학교숲 조성이 초등학교 학생들의 인지·정신건강에 미치는 영향을 알아봄으로써 학교숲의 긍정적 효과를 확인하고자 한다. 우정사업본부와 한국산림복지진흥원, 서울시 교육청이 협력으로 학교숲 조성사업이 실시된 서울 A초등학교 6학년을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였다. 학교 숲이 조성되기 전과 후로 나누어 조사하였고, 환경 감수성, 숲에 대한 태도, 우울과 불안, 공격성의 변화를 분석하였다. 조사 및 분석 결과 학교숲의 조성이 환경 감수성과 숲에 대한 태도를 향상시키고, 공격성 하위요인인 신체적 공격성과 불안을 감소시키는데 유의미한 영향을 끼치는 것으로 알려졌다. 즉, 학교숲 조성이 아동의 환경 감수성을 높이고, 숲에 대한 태도를 긍정적으로 변화시키며, 신체적 공격성과 불안을 줄여줌으로 인지·정신건강에 긍정적인 효과를 미친다. 이에 따라 학교숲 조성이 아동들의 문제행동 감소와 자연에 대한 인식과 태도를 증진시키는데 기여할 수 있다고 본다. 본 연구는 학교숲 조성이 아동의 인지와 정신건강에 긍정적인 영향을 끼친다는 결과로 학교숲 조성의 필요성을 고취하고, 학교숲이 인지·정신건강에 미치는 효과를 밝히는 데 의의가 있다고 본다.

서울 및 지방에 거주하는 초등학교 고학년 남녀 아동들의 식습관, 식행동 및 식품섭취빈도 (Food Habits, Eating Behaviors and Food Frequency by Gender and among Seoul and Other Regions in Upper-Grade Elementary School Children)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the differences in food habits, eating behaviors and food frequency by gender and regions in upper grade elementary school children in Korea. Subjects of this study were 1,211 children, 645 boys and 566 girls, attending 6 elementary schools (4th, 5th and 6th graders). 389 children lived in Seoul and 822 children lived in other regions. Mean height, weight and BMI of subjects were 142.4 cm, 38.7 kg and $18.8\;kg/m^2$ respectively. 70.5% of the subjects had breakfast every day and 12.4% of the subjects skipped breakfast. There were significant differences between boys and girls in causes of skipping breakfast, overeating, meal volume, and duration of meals. Girls showed more desirable eating behavior than boys (p < 0.001). Scores for specific eating behaviors such as unbalanced diet and intake of meats and vegetables were better in girls (p < 0.001), and boys ate meals faster than girls (p > 0.001). There were significant differences between Seoul and other regions in eating behavior. Eating behavior scores of children in other regions were higher than in Seoul (p < 0.01). Children in Seoul had a higher frequency of watching television with meals. Frequency of fruits (p < 0.001), milk products (p < 0.01), and meats (p < 0.05) of children in Seoul were higher than other regions. Otherwise the frequency of simple sugar products of children in other regions was higher than Seoul (p < 0.001). Frequency of green vegetables was higher for girls than boys, and frequency of fast foods was higher for boys than girls. These results showed that in nutrition education programs designed to improve the nutritional health of elementary school children, we need to focus more on differences in the children's food habits and eating behaviors by gender and regions. In consideration of these differences, such educational programs need to have a different emphasis for each gender and regions to serve its specific needs.

중학생의 가족식사 횟수에 따른 식행동, 식품섭취 및 삶의 만족도 (The Relationships of Dietary Behavior, Food Intake, and Life Satisfaction with Family Meal Frequency in Middle School Students)

  • To study the importance of family meals in adolescents, 251 middle school students were surveyed through a questionnaire on their family meal patterns, dietary behaviors, food intake, and life satisfaction. The family meals were defined as "meals with all family members living together" by 62.2% of the students. For the frequency of family meals, 42.2% of the students replied having family meals "More than once a day". A common reason for the difficulty in having a family meal was a "lack of time" (73.3% of the students). Students tended to respond that they would be most fond in having meals with entire family members with traditional Korean food. Having more frequent family meals was found to benefit both individual and familial dietary behavior. In terms of food intake according to the frequency of family meals, the group having frequent family meals consumed significantly more rice, tofu, legumes, meats, fishes, eggs, green vegetables, seaweeds, fruits, milk, and milk products. This indicates that students can achieve a balanced diet through family meals. In terms of emotional status, the group having more frequent family meals showed a higher satisfaction with their daily life, health, nutritional status, and care from their relatives. In terms of personal mental status, the group having more frequent family meals was also found to be more effective at controlling undesirable emotions such as loneliness, indignation, and lethargy. As a result of this study, students in the group having more frequent family meals were found to have a positive dietary behavior, a balanced nutrition, a higher life satisfaction, and a more stable mental status. This result is useful as nutritional and educational information in schools to impress upon the public the importance of family meals for adolescents.

택지개발지구 특성에 따른 거주자의 생활권 내 근린환경만족도 및 개선우선지수 - 청주권 3개 택지개발지구를 중심으로 - (Satisfaction Level & Improvement Priority of Community Environment According to the Development Concepts of Residential Complexes - The Case of The 3 Residential Complexes in Cheongju Area -)

  • This study has the purpose to reveal the differences of residents' satisfaction level & demand of community environment and recognized residents' improvement priority of community environment at 3 complexes at the big city in the provinces. The 3 residential complexes had differentiated developmental concepts; the residence-oriented complex, the residence-government mixed complex with an eco-friendly concept, and the outskirt residence-industry mixed complex. Followings are the results of the study. 1) The satisfaction of residents in the community environment correlates with the increasing convenience facilities after construction. In the new outskirt complexes of smaller cities, dissatisfaction occurs more with public transportation rather than the road system, so that efficient public transportation systems, inner and neighboring areas, is requisite. 2) Even in the residence-oriented complex, the education environment does not entirely account for satisfaction level; the green environment is also second in priority after the education environment. In the residence-government mixed complex with an eco-friendly concept, a good natural environment does not entirely account for satisfaction level; education environment is also second in priority after the natural environment. The supply of sufficient schools may be fulfilled in the ways of reform of the education zone with neighboring existing residential areas. In the outskirt residence-industry mixed complex of smaller cities, priority was placed more on the location and convenience; this explains the complex's poor access to downtown.

학교 급식 관리에 대한 실태 조사 - II. 광주ㆍ전남지역 초등학생의 급식만족도와 음식기호도 조사 - (A Survey of the Management of Elementary School Foodservice - II. Satisfaction of Food Service and Food Preferences of the Elementary School Students in the Kwangju & Chonnam Area -)

  • Elementary schools students'degree of satisfaction on school food service and food preference were surveyed from 352 sixth-grade students in Kwangju and Chonnam area from June 22 to July 3 to enhance the quality of foodservice. The degree of satisfaction was high with cooked rice and soup in terms of temperature and serving state. There were significant differences in the degree of satisfaction depending upon the types of foodservice (p<0.001). There was significant differences in degree of satisfaction for side dishes depending upon the temperature (p<0.05), kinds (p<0.01) and amount (p<0.001). The degree of satisfaction with Kimchi was generally high in the serving state (p<0.05) and the amounts (p<0.01). The degree of satisfaction with desserts were high in the amount (p<0.001). The amount of leftover was high with soup, side dishes, kimchi, cooked rice, and desserts in order. The improvements made on children's behavior after the implementation of the school foodsevice were the adaptation to balanced diet and spending less money on sweets. The factors of influencing the school foodservice and the children's food intake were the education in school (teachers and dietitians) and the health status of their bodies (p<0.001). Children's favorite foods were sweet and sour pork, pork cutlets, oranges, watermelons, and strawberries in order. The least preferred foods were garlic seasoned with soy sauce, raw vegetables of broad bell-flowers, crown daisy greens, and steamed peppers. Children's favorite food types were fried food, desserts, one course meal, and bread. The least preferred types were pickled food, green and seasoned vegetables, cooked rice, and hard-boiled food in order. Generally, the children in the rural area favored most foods compared with those from urban area.

  • 본 연구는 식생활교육지원법에 제시된 식생활교육의 기본방향이 중학교 기술가정교과서의 식생활 단원에 어떻게 반영되어 있는지를 살펴보기 위한 것으로, 11종의 2007개정 교과서를 대상으로 하였다. 조사결과 모든 교과서들이 식생활교육지원법에 명시된 식생활교육의 기본방향 - 건전한 식습관 형성, 식생활 체험활동 촉진, 환경친화적인 식생활 실천, 전통 식생활 문화 계승과 지역 농수산물의 활용 등 - 에 대체로 부합하는 구성 및 서술을 담고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 그림, 사진, 그래프 등의 시각적 자료, 신문기사, 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 작은 이야기 등의 활용에서는 상당한 차이를 보였다.

취학전(就學前) 아동(兒童)의 식품기호(食品嗜好)와 식습관(食習慣) 조사연구(調査硏究) (A Study on Food Attitude and Dietary Habits of Pre-school Children)

  • A group of 132 pre-school children with a mean age of six years and one month was the subjects of this investigation. These children were members of three nursery schools locating in Kwang-ju city. Each child's mother replied to a questionaire which included 42 food items and 4 questions. The results showed that the food preference of each child was variable and the group as a whole expressed more positive than negative feelings. The average number of foods liked per child was 22.9(range: $7{\sim}42$) among 42 food items. Peach, Apple, Strawberry, Laver, Egg, Tomato, Sweet Potato, Tangerine Orange and Beef were ranked in descending order of 'like' ratings. The average number of foods refused was 4.9 (range: $0{\sim}25$). Onion, Liver, Red Pepper Leaf, Root of Bellflower, Taro, Wild Seasame Leaf, Egg Plant, Cabbage, Water Cress and Bracken were ranked in descending order of 'refuse' ratings. The odor of hurting feelings, the hot taste and the flabby texture were the reasons why the children refused these foods. The average number of foods unexperienced was 4.4 (range: $0{\sim}14$). Kidney, Dried Small Whitebail, Tangle (DA SHI MA), Liver, SA RI Mushroom, Acorn Mook, Dried Fragrant Mushroom, Pine Agaric, Root of Bellflower and Ped Pepper Leaf were ranked in descending order of 'unexperience' ratings. Children's 'like' rating toward total foods was 57.3% and the 'refuse' rating was 11.7%. Among eight food groups, fruits showed the highest favority (91.4%) and mushroom showed the least (25.9%). The difference between male and female in the preference of total foods did not showed significant level. But the difference were significant in those of individual food groups; other vegetables, green and yellow leafy vegetables, mushrooms(above, p.<01), fishes and shellfish and sea weeds (above, p<.05). Children who had experienced meals missed rated 59.1% and 34.1% of these children missed meals once a week. The main reason for maels missed was due to the heavey snacks before meal time. Children who had snacks twice a day rated 45.6%. Main foods used as their snacks were starch foods (Cake, Biscuit, Sweet Potato) and citrous foods (Fruits, Apple, Tangerine).

미동산 산림환경 생태원 설계 (Design of Midongsan Ecological park)

  • This report describes the first prize design of Midongsan Eco-park, which is located in Chungcheongbuk-do (North Chungcheong) province. Criteria of the winning design are as follows: 1) The design should include a neighborhood park as well as a portion of a green zone, in order to harmonize the area ecosystem, gradually assimilate the surroundings, and serve as an education tool for the public. 2) According to an analysis of area maps and a site-inspection, a preserved area, a buffer area, a restored area, and a developed area should be developed. In the buffer and restored areas, major facilities and activity spaces should be set up. 3) Observation trails should be accessible to visitors, and a variety of adventure programs should be available. 4) The eco-park should be designed to provide a habitat for the Gorani (Chinese water deer) which used to live around Midongsan. 5) For sensuous and vivid visitor experiences, diverse programs are to be designed to accommodate different seasons, visitor ages, and required time. Environment and eco-education are to be emphasized to maximize the effect of the eco-programs. 6) Optimal activities for visitors of different ages, optimal time intervals and eco-programs by age are also suggested. 7) Facilities are zoned into three sections according to level of development. Each section has a main area and supplementary areas for better understanding. 8) Nature-friendly arrangement of facilities and construction should minimize earthwork and adverse effects on the local ecology. Throughout the planning, the following things were learned: longer-term analysis including all season's observation is essential; planning, designing, bui Iding and managing should be based on this careful, extended observation. The contest should have taken plate over a longer period of time in order enable more detailed planing of the eco-park For improved management and activities, a volunteer system in linked with schools eco-institutions and NGOs should be developed with eco-interpreters.
