Brand Positioning and Repurchase Intention: The Effect of Attitude Toward Green Brand

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effect of attitude toward green brand on green brand positioning and repurchase intention of environmentally friendly products, product knowledge on attitude toward green brand and the effect of green product knowledge on green repurchase intention. This study uses a structural equation approach with a sample size of 175 and uses an eight-point Likert scale. The data collection technique used purposive sampling. The criteria for respondents are to use environmentally friendly cosmetic products and the respondents live in Central Java and have consumed more than two times. Online sampling using google form. Data were analyzed using statistical software AMOS 22. The results showed that green brand positioning has a significant effect on repurchase intention. Attitude toward green brand has a positive effect in mediating the relationship between green brand positioning and repurchase intention. Similarly, green brand knowledge has a positive effect on attitudes, although green knowledge has no positive effect on repurchase intention. Product positioning in the minds of consumers is important in shaping attitudes. It is important for companies to continue to develop environmentally friendly products so that product positioning can be distinguished from competitors' products.

Early Childhood Teachers' Content Knowledge on Green Growth Education

  • The purpose of the study was to examine early childhood teachers' content knowledge on green growth education. The subjects, 45 early childhood teachers, were asked to draw concept maps about early childhood green growth education. Their concept maps were analyzed in terms of superordinate and subordinate concepts by contents and frequencies. The results showed that early childhood teachers used 182 superordinate and 1,292 subordinate concepts in the concept map of green growth education for young children. Although early childhood teachers had a wealth of content knowledge on green growth education as proposed by the Ministry of Education, their knowledge was disproportionate to some areas and sub-areas of green growth education. These results implied the needs of developing teacher education programs for early childhood green growth education.

  • Purpose - The green marketing practice improves consumers' environmental knowledge, consequently bolstering their environmental purchase intention. It also improves consumers' green brand knowledge, positively influences their attitude toward green brands. This research examines the role of green brand image between green marketing practice and consumers' green purchasing intention Research design, Data, and methodology - This research has conducted the 'Qualitative Content Analysis' in the current literature dataset. It is crucial to create the procedures and processes that is used to acquire the data needed to structure or solve problems. Finally, total 35 prior studies included for the analysis. Result - Based on prior studies, the current authors figured out that the green brand image plays an essential role in promoting companies' efforts in green marketing practices and green purchase intentions through its mediating ability by fostering trust, green perceived value, green brand loyalty, and social responsibility as a significant determiner of green practices Conclusion - This research concludes that green brand positioning helps companies secure a special place in a consumers' mind by facilitating the design of the desired green brand awareness image and strengthening consumers' desire to purchase a specific green product/service. Green brand positioning centers on the way marketing communications of green brand features green brand knowledge.

Analysis on knowledge, behaviors, and educational content need regarding green dietary life among middle school students in Daegu and Gyeongbuk region (대구.경북지역 중학생의 녹색식생활에 대한 지식, 행동 및 교육내용 요구도 분석)

  • The purpose of the study was to analyze the levels of knowledge and behaviors of green dietary life and the factors affecting them, and to examine the educational content need for green dietary life. The data were collected from 246 middle school students in Daegu and Gyeongbuk region through a self-administered questionnaire. Data were analyzed by SPSS Windows V.21.0. The levels of knowledge and behaviors of green dietary life were not generally high. Percentage of correct answers of health category was higher than that of environment category in the knowledge of green dietary life. On the other hand, in the mean of the behaviors of green dietary life, health, environment, and consideration was higher in order. According to the result of multiple regression analysis for knowledge of green dietary life, grade was significant. In addition, monthly allowance (60,000~90,000 won), socioeconomic status (medium), and knowledge of green dietary life were the significant factors affecting behaviors of green dietary life. In the educational content need, the mean of weight maintenance was the highest, followed by separate garbage collection, prevention of environmental pollution, healthy foods, and traditional foods. On the basis of these results, education to increase knowledge of green dietary life is needed to revitalize behaviors of green dietary life.

Relationship between Green Consumer Behavior, Environmental Knowledge, and Environmental Attitudes among Students at the University of Education (교육대학교 재학생의 녹색소비자행동과 환경지식 및 환경태도의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify a causal relationship among green consumer behavior, environmental knowledge and environmental attitudes of students at the university of education. A total of 366 copies of questionnaires were used for the data analysis; 31 copies were excluded due to lack of response to any given question. To ensure the reliability and validity of the questions, technical statistics were performed, such as frequency, ratio, average, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis via SPSS 15.0, item-total correlation and the totality, and reliability analysis. A structural analysis was undertaken via AMOS 7.0 in a bootstrapping method in order to perform a path analysis among variables as well as to assess the suitability of the model. The findings of the study were led to the following conclusions: First, the causal model among green consumer behavior, environmental knowledge and environmental attitudes of students at the university of education is suitable to the empirical analysis on research variables. Second, the environmental attitudes of students at the university of education has a direct, positive effect on green consumer behavior. Third, the environmental knowledge of students at the university of education has an indirect, positive effect on green consumer behavior.

  • Humans are facing many environmental challenges. Climate change, water pollution, global warming, and hazardous waste disposal are all issues that many countries throughout the world are dealing with. People's psychology and consumer behavior are significantly affected by these challenges, particularly generation Z, which is immediately affected by environmental changes. Young people have a strong sense of curiosity and have access to readily updated knowledge. Today's youth, in particular, live a civilized and responsible lifestyle. As a result, people recognize the significance of their own consumption behavior in affecting environmental change and are increasingly replacing them with green, ecologically friendly products as a fantastic method to mitigate their harmful consequences. In this research, there are four factors related to the young generation and environmental awareness that affect green consumption intention: perceived environmental responsibility, green knowledge, green attitude, and green product value. The goal of this study is to look into how detrimental environmental changes affect Generation Z's green consumption habits. This study used primary data from over 1000 people in the age group, which was processed using the AMOS 20 software. All the characteristics described above had an impact on Generation Z's green consumption intentions, according to the findings.

The Effects of a Green Based Growth Education Program on Young Children's Environmental Preservation Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior (녹색성장교육에 기초한 프로그램이 유아의 환경보전지식, 태도 및 행동에 미치는 효과)

  • This study started as an effort to solve the serious environmental program that the Korean government and internationally focused on. For the purpose of the study, a green based growth education program was composed that young children could participate in. With this program, the study participants could form attitudes, behavior, and knowledge of environmental preservation. To see the effectiveness of the green growth educational program, the study set up a control and an experimental group. The program was composed with four major content 'ecosystem', 'energy', 'resource', and 'green citizenship'. The study planned 20 sessions including fairy tales, storytelling, art, game, and science activities. The study's participants were a total of 42 five-year-old children. The result of the research showed that the experimental group's environmental preservation knowledge, attitude, and behavior score was significantly higher than the control group. The green growth educational program had a positive effect on young children's knowledge, attitude, and behavior of environmental preservation. This study included the realities of the difficulties applying green growth education in kindergarten, the result provided practical information regarding the green growth educational program to kindergarten teachers.

  • The purpose of this research is to verify the effect of a 3-year-old's green growth education knowledge of environmental conservation and eco-friendly attitude. This study conducted a survey of 2 classes of 3-years-old children (totaling 45 children) located in Gyeonggi Province Shiheung. The experimental group consisted of 23 children while the comparison group was comprised of 22 children. Experimental treatment period was 5 primarily by the classroom teacher in the experimental group and 12 sessions going green growth program was compared to a group, the basic curriculum was operate as usual. The results of this research are summarized as follows. First, the result of the experimental group, which participated in green growth and did not participate in the control group, show that the early childhood of the experimental group has been improved about knowledge of environmental conservation and showed a statistically significant difference. Second, the result of the experimental group which participated in green growth show that the attitude of the experimental group improved an infant's environment-friendly conscience.

  • In this paper, we review an outline as premise for environmental analysis of green IT which has basic stage through the world in order to make knowledge map of green IT. We can analyze genuine environment for green IT based on this premise, and we expect that we can also use to analyse power of competition based on intellectual property after performing these environmental analysis.

Firm Performance Impact of Green Practice-IS Coordination (환경관리업무-정보시스템 조정이 기업성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Although the role of information systems (IS) on environmental sustainability much attention, the coordination between green practices and environmental management information systems (EMIS) in a firm remains unexplored area in environmental management and IS disciplines. This study elaborated the antecedents of the coordination between green practices and EMIS and then examines the links among them. Also, this study investigated the links from the coordination between green practices and EMIS to firm's environmental performance. The results showed that both attitudes of managers who are responsible for a firm's green practices and their support had direct effects on the coordination between green practices and EMIS. Also, consistent with environmental management literature, the study provides a better understanding of the relationship between the coordination between green practices and EMIS and environmental performance.
