The purpose of this research is to provide new direction on the field of the furniture design and to establish the identity of Korean furniture design as the flow of craft's juxtapose mixture era where it mix and match Korean traditional craft style materials with the modern furniture design. In other words, it is intended to create new furniture design and propose beautiful Korean luxury furniture design based on the precious unique culture with the traditional craft style, juxtaposition of modern furniture, and reinterpretation. It should grant artistic values that can satisfy consumers having various tastes and scarcity values, plus it should put out aesthetic and creative expressions in furniture design putting into the beautiful traditional craft form values. Furthermore, it is required to create new design through values and spirit, materials, techniques, forms, pattern, and usages by interacting, coordinating, and combining tradition and modern East and West, plus craft and design.

Following rapid development of software and hardware technologies and increasing enhancement in arithmetic capability, there are more and more content that can be accommodated and processed in video games, which is also increasingly complex and fine. Cutscene as a main narrative method have been developed, which have become necessary to express some key plots and important scenarios in games. Good cutscene can strengthen engagement of players with virtual world in games and make players share affection and sorrow with roles in games; while badly-designed cut-scene or overused cut-scene will impair immersion of players and affect players' gaming experience; for this reason, developers should not continue cut-scene design just from opinions of designers nor make players passive receivers, instead, they should reduce as much as possible interruption by cut-scene to players' immersion and grant players with better immersion. After all, only designs depending on demands and preferences of players by having some knowledge of impacts of cut-scene on players' immersion can be accepted by players.

The superconducting electromagnetic propulsion system has been proposed as one of new alternative propulsion systems. Especially, the helical-type propulsion system has the greatest merit that is able to use the solenoid-type superconducting magnets with high magnetic fields. In this study, calculations of characteristics of the large scale helical-type thruster are carried out on the basis of our experimental results. As a couple of results of calculations, it is found that the thruster efficiency quickly increases with the length of electrode up to about 5 m and then goes up to about 0.9. The thruster efficiency peaks at a certain point ($^{\sim}0.6\;m$) and then falls as length of pitch increases.

This paper utilizes free oscillation and energy injection principles to generate and control the high frequency current in the primary track of a contactless power transfer system. Here the primary power inverter maintains natural resonance while ensuring near constant current magnitude in the primary track as required for multiple independent loads. Such energy injection controllers exhibit low switching frequency and achieve ZCS (Zero Current Switching) by detecting the high frequency current, thus the switching stress, power losses and EMI of the inverter are low. An example full bridge topology is investigated for a contactless power transfer system with multiple pickups. Theoretical analysis, simulation and experimental results show that the proposed system has a fast and smooth start-up transient response. The output track current is fully controllable with a sufficiently good waveform for contactless power transfer applications.

The latest trend of our medical industry seems to have a raise on more expectation and interest in mystical therapeutics of herb medicine and its efficiency especially for the disease such as chronicity and other obstinacy that used to be impossibie to be cured with only Western medical treatment. potentiality of ideal medical treatment through interchanging of medical study between Eastern and Western is becoming an issue today. Herb medicine is our native ethnic medicine and is based on the friendly-nature and human oriented under one of the classification of natural medicine. The point of this medicine has a strong connection with the conceptional trait of Health-Care that is been newly paid a lot of attention in Western medical science. This 'Y'Oriental Medical Clinic Interior Design is to grant a new possibility of global recognition of herb medicine getting over from a limited ethnic medicine by correcting the existing problems and expanding its scope to a part of natural medicine and to newly establish its meaning as a space for Health-Care utilizing a concept of nature.

The arid regions of western China are currently the focus of extensive exploration and development. This paper reports on recent experience gained by Chinese and Canadian project team members in the use of a variety of Earth observation satellite imagery for oil exploration and environmental assessment exercises in the Kuche area of Xinjiang. Through careful archival data selection and more recent data acquisition schemes, we have established several time series of MODIS, Landsat and Radarsat imagery in order to obtain a better understanding for daily, seasonal as well as decadal changes of the natural environment as well as man-made environmental features.

This paper presents the greenhouse gas emission trading scheme which is under progress as a pilot project at the power sector in preparation for UNFCCC. By referring UK's, Emission Trading is introduced incentive auction to maximize the reduction of greenhouse gas emission. At the 1st step, from year 2006 to 2008, only CO2 is regarded as an objective target to decrease but emission credit is excluded with an assumption and only 5 Generation company take part in as participants. The market operating procedure is composed of participants' registration, baseline verification, incentive auction, the registration of initial and yearly allocation, emission trading, yearly emission verification & approval, yearly obligation conformity, carry forward & incentive grant. It can be serve a guideline the whole aspects of emission trading which will start in 2006 including operation, verification and profit sharing.

Quality of Service (QoS) Guarantees grant ways for service providers to establish service differentiation among subscribers. On the other hand, service subscribers are also assured the level of service they paid for. In addition, the efficient level of service quality can be selected according to the subscribers' needs thus ensuring efficient use of available bandwidth. While network utility optimization techniques assure certain QoS metrics, a number of situations exist where some QoS goals are not met. The optimality of the network parameters is not mandatory to guarantee specified QoS levels. This paper proposes a joint data rate and power control scheme that guarantees service contract QoS level to a subscriber using Goal Programming. In using goal programming, this paper focuses on finding the range of feasible solutions as opposed to solving for the optimal. In addition, in case no feasible solution is found, an acceptable compromised solution is solved.

A communal feeding program has been managed mostly by the Sae Ma Eul Women's club of agricultural cooperatives during busy days of farming in rural Korea and spreading rapidly throughout the country since a couple of years ago. Four communal feeding villages from 3 provinces in Korea were purposively selected. The food and nutrient intake of 524 participants were measured by the Precise-Weighing method for 3 days from October $7{\sim}16$ 1976. Total amount of food consumed per participant per two meal day was 1456 grams, greater than national average. Two meals that the communal feeding program provided to farmers under the intensive work of harvesting were supplying enough calories and all other nutrients except the riboflavin. There was a variation among CF villages but overall the nutrient intake was good and had balanced meals. This investigation is a part of the study on nutrition supported by a grant from USAID.

N-(Isopropyloxycarbonyloxy)maleimide (iPOCMI) has been synthesized and polymerized to give both the homopolymer and copolymers with substituted styrenes. These polymers were readily deprotected by thermolysis of the isopropyloxycarbonyl (iPOC) groups to provide the corresponding N-hydroxymaleimide (HOMI) polymers. The homopolymer and styrenic copolymers of iPOCMI were radically obtained in higher conversion and higher molecular weight than those obtained by direct polymerizations of N-hydroxymaleimide. The homopolymer of iPOCMI was transformed into poly(N-hydroxymaleimide)P(HOMI) by thermolysis of iPOC groups at 205 $^{\circ}C$ with concurrent release of propene and carbon dioxide. The copolymer of iPOCMI and styrene was thermally deprotected to the copolymer of HOMI and styrene at 235 $^{\circ}C.$ The mass loss was 28% and the Tg of the resulting copolymer was 250 $^{\circ}C.$ The thermal deprotection readily provided the desired, polar HOMI polymers which have Tgs above 240 $^{\circ}C.$ The deprotection was accompanied by large changes in aqueous base solubility.
